What a great bunch!!! They are the best, we was broke down beside the road and was told that someone would be there in 30 minutes and they did get there in that time frame. They took such great care of the vehicle. We made it home, they unloaded with such care.I would have to say the best company i've ever had the pleasure of towing my vehicle. We got a flat tire in our rental car late at night and couldn’t get through to anyone for help. Luckily, one person answered our call — he and his wife came right away! They not only helped us with the tire but also recommended a safe place to stay until morning so we could get it fixed. We’re so thankful for their kindness, quick response, and genuine care. Truly wonderful people!
Good Ol’ Boys Recovery was incredible. We had a terrible flat and a broken control arm, and they helped us find an affordable shop and a nearby hotel. They made sure my kids were safe and were extremely helpful and understanding throughout the whole situation. They even stayed past closing so we could pick up our stored trailer. Truly kind, dependable people—highly recommend!

My mom and I are from Richlands VA over 80 miles from Wytheville and broke down on 77 near mile marker 259. We found a towing service but they wanted a ridiculous cost to tow or amount to stow would be about 3K when we could get it out. A wonderful man from this company showed up and even gave us a ride while towing our car to our local car garage. We had conversation the whole way and he was really down to earth.
Bonus points— the driver was cute and funny ??
They were prompt picking me and my car up in 20 minutes about 8 miles south of Wytheville and took me to Christiansburg VA and dropped my car off at Shelor Chevrolet. They then took me home which was a great service

I got stuck with an EV rental car, which ran out of power off highway 81 during a freezing cold night. I called roadside service and they said Big M Towing would be at my location within 2 hours. When it got closer to the 2 hour window, I called them and they said they’d call me back. After multiple calls from me and the car rental people, Big M just sent us to their voicemail.
So at 2am, I had roadside send for another tow truck. In 30 minutes, DJ from Good Ol Boys Towing, came to my rescue. He was quick and extremely friendly. We had a great convo during the 20 minute trip to the next charging station. DJ, watch Lioness and 1923.
Lessons learned, 1) don’t ever use Big M Towing 2) don’t ever rent an EV for long distance travel 3) Good Ol Boys is extremely reliable even in the worst of hours.
