Traveling through Wytheville and realized we needed new wipers for our truck. Bought the wrong ones. Not only did they swap them out for the correct ones for no extra cost (correct ones were more) but they helped install. Great team - Great customer service! Thank you for making our travels even more enjoyable!

Ordered a part at the Wytheville location well before noon. The attendant called around and found the part at the Galax store. He said it would be $15 and some change and would be delivered to the Wytheville location at 2:30 pm that same "evening." I pulled out my card to pay and he said, "No, just wait until it gets here." I paid for another in-store purchase earlier, noticing he had not charged for the Galax part. I went back to the Wytheville location to pay for and pick up the part at 2:30. Their delivery had just arrived without my part. The clerks then told me deliveries had been unpredictable and "reliably" erratic. We joked about it. They said they could not explain why the part had not arrived from Galax but to come back in at 10:30 am the next day. So I arrived around 1:00 pm the next day, only to be told the part was not there. What? This is terrible customer service. It would have been easier for them to just say, "We don't have it." I would have gone elsewhere and been done. Please get your stories and delivery situation straight and stop lying to people. I know you are dealing with some logistics issues, but if it gets too complicated, just be up front and tell people the part is not available. You will be better thought of for it. Edit to add: I was just informed that the pre-gapped spark plugs I requested and bought yesterday are not pre-gapped at all. Again, why lie to just make a sale? Maybe I should have checked before leaving the store, but why do that when you've been told they are what you requested? Sad.

The help was excellent. But unfortunately they had the emergency brake cables I needed but but they could not offer the assembled kit for putting them on?

My daughter and I along with my small grandson were traveling from NC. I had a light that had come on in my car . I stopped to ask if they would hook it up to see if it would give a code as to what the problem may be. The older gentleman behind the counter said “ THEY WONT LET US DO THAT ANYMORE “ I went right across the street to Auto Zone and they were very glad to go above and beyond to help us.. Auto zone will always be my choice

I have been going to wythville advance for YEARS, so I called to see if they had certain part. As I waited for a response of yes or no in a friendly manner I was given one of the most rude response. This store has lost my business as well as my families.

Rob and other staff were awesome!! BMW 530i alternator went on our way from NY to family in GA. Pulled in late 2 days before Christmas and Rob helped diagnose battery and alternator. They had an oem alternator in stock and we were able to fix alternator in parking lot with the store tool box. Thanks to all who helped us arrive in GA on time for Christmas with family!!

Had a bearing assembly go out half way thru an 11hr trip. Let me park out back and had the tools for loan that I needed. Not to mention the part was in stock! Like I told them "I will pass 3 AutoZones, to drive to an Advance!" And that's the truth. Great, friendly help here.

Plenty of parts to choose from, at ok prices. Unfortunately the sales associate wasn't too familiar with the bulbs I was looking at, but said I could try them and if they didn't work bring them back for a refund. They indeed didn't work and got my money back with no questions asked.
