Amazing, above-and-beyond service on 3/7 around 5–6 PM. I managed to get myself into some trouble while trying to change my car battery at home and stripped a bolt on the battery terminal clamp. I couldn’t get the bolt out and couldn’t tighten the terminal enough to secure it, so I ended up coming to the store after running out of options at home and with other stores. Two employees spent a long time helping me figure out the problem and worked with me for over an hour to finally get the stripped bolt out and get the terminal situation fixed. They were incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and generous with their time. What should have been a simple 20-minute battery change turned into a several-hour headache because of my mistake, and they really bailed me out. I’m extremely grateful for their help. This is the only auto parts store in the area I’ll be going to from now on.

I needed a new battery for an old ATV whose model I did not even know. Eric, who works there, was relentless in helping me find the battery I needed and seeing a couple of elements of compatibility that I would have completely missed. The guy is an automotive sales genius. The store has everything.

I went in today to have my battery tested and replaced. The gentleman who helped me, Eric, was incredibly kind, professional, and knowledgable. He was extremely understanding of my lack of experience with cars, and took the time to thoroughly explain what he was doing and the decisions that he was making. I truly appreciated the time that he took to help me and the friendly service that he provided. Thank you again, Eric!

This is actually in response to a review from quite a few years ago. Courtney NH you walked in that store barely a month after it opened up. Your vehicle required a certain type of wiper that we really didn't have at the time. It was a brand new store. A lot of people there didn't have a lot of experience dealing with those yet. The store manager was the only person that actually knew how to install it. But you were difficult to deal with right off the bat. I'm glad I'm out of that type of business because of customers like you. I don't even like to go to auto parts stores because you'll always have people they cater to or people that can play about every little thing. You were a Karen and then I'm pretty sure you're probably worse now

Had to get a new battery for my BMW. It was literally freezing outside, and the gentleman had already changed a battery ahead of mine. He changed it, calibrated it, and was friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Sunday 7/29 alternator went out on a trip from Indy to Outer Banks. ‘21 traverse so it should have lasted a lot longer. Autozone was an exit away and we limped the few miles there. They had the alternator in stock. YouTube had the ‘how-to’. What we didn’t expect was the staff assisting AND letting us work two hours past closing with the borrowed tools. Definitely above and beyond service!!!! We made the rest of the trip trouble free and back home! Thank you!

I have always found the staff this store to be mighty helpful. Case in point: yesterday my pickup was having trouble starting (unless I jumped it), so I went by Autozone in Lexington to see if they could diagnose the problem. They tested the battery and were able to help me rule out problems with the alternator. Since it was clear that I needed a new battery, they advised me on what kind of battery to get as a replacement and, after I purchased it, they installed the battery for me. They are knowledgeable, good listeners, friendly, polite, and helpful.

I was assisted by one of the nice gentlemen at AutoZone. He helped me find the right headlight as well as a way to clean my headlights. He was courteous and answered all my questions.

My friend and I were driving back to Ohio from Virginia when our car had an engine alert. We pulled in and walked into the store panicked and frazzled. The two employees were beyond kind, helpful and knowledgeable. One staff member came right out with us and ran a diagnostic test to figure out the cause and then Joshua C came out to our car (in the cold!) and looked over everything and helped us come up with a quick solution. We went from thinking we would have to find a hotel for the night to getting back onto the road in less than an hour with the problem solved. He talked us through the whole thing and helped make sure his solution worked. We are beyond thankful to Joshua and his coworker (unsure of his name but he was very helpful too). Highly recommend coming here if you are in a pickle.

I would like to call out Joe and his colleagues for excellent customer care. We came in because our hub assembly was messed up .Joe and his colleagues helped us grab the tools that we needed and would occasionally come out to make sure we were doing okay. lf we needed help they would help us without question and give us the information that we needed

Incredible customer service from Harold K. At the Lexington, VA store. Harold helped troubleshoot and solve my auto issue that allowed us to continue safely to our final destination. I was already an AUTOZONE fan, even more so now after my experience with Harold!

Will never come back to this location ever! Bought an alternator for a Jeep Grand Cherokee a week ago and the guy said it was a $40 cord charge. Went to take old alternator back today and the cord charge was only $10 the staff and managers were very unpleasant. They pulled up the wrong alternator on computer which said a $10 cord charge but when we told them that was not the one we bought they said it didn't matter which one we bought. If we bought the one with a $40 cord charge it does matter. I would've rather pay more at another parts store then come her and get cheated out of my money.

I unfortunately had to deal with this store twice in the past 2 days. Each time I dealt with the most unknowledgeable people. I had to return a bottle of antifreeze that was still sealed, and the guy at the counter, accused me of resealing it with the little metal seal piece. Never going there again!

The gentleman at the store were very kind to help my family and me with what parts were needed for our van. We were stranded in Lexington after our van had a bad misfire and couldn't have gotten it resolved without them.

Me and my husband were on the way to Tennessee we were two hours away from home and our alternators gave out on us/started to give out on us we got here and the service was amazing the people were very welcoming and nice we really appreciate all of their service and how nice they were to us!!!(They also pointed ya to a Shop down the road to get the work done which was great) then We ended up having a good conversation like we knew them but we obviously didn’t know them personally but I could tell they were very respectful people!! Idk how much they get paid but they deserve a raise! Thanx for the service y’all now we can go finish our trip!! I was in there about a week ago and there was a woman who try to find a part for me and didn't know exactly what to look for. I told them what we most likely problem was and they ignore that. when she asked for help from a young man standing over the counter with a phone in his hand said he had better things to do. I will no longer be a customer here and I will encourage everyone I know not to go here. I have visited the auto zones in Staunton Virginia and Waynesboro Virginia and I'm happy with their service but the one in Lexington seems to be particularly hard to deal with

My daughter and I went to figure out if she needed a new battery and the gentleman who helped us was lovely! Not only did he take the time to assure that it actually needed replacing, he installed a new one for her. He also ran a general diagnostic test due to a light that was on and told us that everything looked fine and reset it for her. Nice to have a place you can trust.

It's a good place to get what you need related to your vehicle. There is really good people working there. They will help you get what you need correctly. Very friendly, and they love my Australian Shepherd puppy. So fyi they are dog friendly. Love these guys and gals.

Traveling through, had an alternator problem. Angel and Cassie were both very helpful on phone and in person. Store had the part we needed and loaned us the tools to fix in the parking lot. Very nice store and helpful employees.
