My husband purchased a battery at the Staurts Draft store. This was on Friday Jan.30. We needed to go an Lexington. The truck would not start. We went to Advance in Lexington and the person, Patsy, ignored him to wait on people coming through the door after him. We sat for several minutes and she didn't respond to our needs. Do not go to this store. TERRIBLE! Service.

I had to stop in there today for assistance with my car. Eric assisted me and explained everything as he went along. Will definitely be going back if I have any other problems. Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend this location.

Went to pick up some parts for my Father with his debit card. General manager said she couldn't sell to me with out all the details such as how the order was placed and what the part was. I knew vehicle type and had his debit card. She refused to sell it with out speaking to him 1st. To say I was irate is an understatement. If the part wasn't needed immediately another auto store or an online store would have been used. In 5 years when the store/ business is failing look at your policies. This policies doesn't protect customer safety in this incident , it just causes inconveniences.

Aarron was very rude and broke my obd2 port!! Went to clear a code because I just fixed my car and he said “OH NO WE AINT DOING THAT” and ripped the reader out of my obd2 port. Would recommend not wasting your time and getting your vehicle damaged and just go to auto zone instead.

I know it’s not their fault but a corporate policy, there’s no reason why core charge refunds need to go back on the same card used at purchase. There should be an option to get cash or have refunded to another account because people move and bank accounts change.

I tried to return two 5qt containers of Mobile 1 Synthetic Oil (did not meet Jeep service maintenance requirements) that I purchased yesterday at the Lexington VA Advance Auto Store, but was told today they could not complete the return because they did not have $70 cash in their drawers. Really, $70 in this day and age???? I paid in cash, and they sure took it then. In this day and age of identity theft and digital crime, Cash Is King! Their best suggested solution was to come back later or try the Buena Vista store. I tried both with no luck. What kind of a business is so poorly prepared? Is Advance Auto going out of business? They sure will with business practices such as this. After I "eventually" am able to return these two containers, I guarantee I will not darken their incompetent management doors again. Utterly and truly pathetic, they are. I suppose I will have to call ahead and ask if they have any cash for the refund. Incompetence is defined by Advance Auto at this location.

My battery died in the parking lot of the grocery across the street during a snow storm. A kind person jump started my van and it had enough juice to get across the street to Advance Auto Parts. They were just about to close up shop because the snow was so bad. I bought a new battery and the guy installed it for me, in the crazy snow. I was very impressed with the service. Customer service is not about whether the 'customer is always right', it's about making the customer's life as good as possible. This is a good store right here.

Adam was very knowledgeable about the issues my car was having. He even came outside in the freezing cold and helped me put my part on. It would have taken me 2 hours, the job was done in 45 minutes and I was on the road again. He refused a tip and said being able to help was enough reward for him. Good people do still exist, and they work at the lexington advanced auto. Thanks Adam! You are a Rockstar!

The service is terrible most of the time and they can't ever get the right parts most of the time or even quality part's, I took the old spark plug there I needed and it took 4 different times me going back the same day and still didn't get it right so I went somewhere else

We were traveling through Virginia and the power steering pump hose blew. We were stuck at Natural Bridge with no way to get parts to fix the truck late at night. Waited until morning and Called Roy at this location and he put together the parts and fluids I needed and sent his driver out with everything 😊 Roy was very helpful. Great customer service.

The location is great, nice people. It would be a great place to open an auto parts store. Make an order because you NEED the part. They tell you it will come in at 10 am the next morning and you have to be there because the store is doing inventory. Show up to find the part isn’t there and will be in the next day because the warehouse didn’t send it. So you order from Autozone. Very disappointed.

The phrase "I don't know" would be beneficial in this place. They tried to steer me wrong to buy 4 gauge wire instead of 4/0 gauge wire. This would have caused a catastrophic failure of my electrical system. I do not mind having an associate tell me that they are not certain, but when they will argue with you and laugh and belittle you to prove in the end that Google and a little humility go a long way. Fairly insulting they were.

Never get the right parts. They just give you what ever they can reach on the shelf. Chances are your gonna make 2 trips everytime

Pretty good prices when items are on clearance. Otherwise like most auto parts stores they are high. Good customer service few times I have been in they got me checked out quickly and didn't make me wait while they installed wipers.

Easy to locate this Auto parts store with parking in front.Its what you expect in small town.Many things have to be ordered but delevery is fast.Store has been open many years and town depends on it.

Always has the best sales but they couldn't have a more annoying staff if they wanted to. These girls are just down right rude. To busy talking to each other to take care of the line at the registers (which probably wouldn't have been so long if they weren't so busy pushing charge cards and worrying about who helped who)
