Slimy group over characters at this location. Br prepared for a fight to get your vehicle back from this business. They will try every trick in the book to frustrate you and hope you will just give up. $1,600 for a tow 5 miles and stored over the weekend. Protect your money and run far away from this place.
Yesterday our family car blew a tire on the highway. Most repair shops were either closing or couldn’t change our tire. Croppers picked all four of us up (even our little cavapoo) and replaced two tires while also staying past their closing time. The rate and service they gave us was great, Jeff, the owner was so nice and friendly. Really thankful for them staying late and helping us out! Thank you guys again!
I had a terrible experience with Cropper’s Towing. My wife was in an automobile accident and I believe Prince William County has a contract with them for towing after accidents. I was in Japan for work when the accident occurred and the vehicle is in my name so I had to authorize the release of the vehicle after being towed and stored at Cropper’s Towing. I authorized release on a Friday and Cropper’s Towing didn’t release the vehicle until Monday. I believe they held the vehicle over the weekend to collect more money for storage since the vehicle isn’t driveable and had to be towed by our insurance company to a repair facility. In addition, after 72 hrs if the vehicle isn’t picked up, the towing company can put a lien on the vehicle. Cropper’s Towing put a lien on my vehicle.
Bottom line, after my car was towed, I contacted them to request its release, but they refused to cooperate and kept my car longer than necessary. To make matters worse, the staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional during every phone call I made to resolve the situation.
Instead of providing clear answers or assistance, they spoke to me with hostility and condescension. I was informed about how long Cropper’s Towing has been in the towing business. It's clear this company doesn’t prioritize customer service or professionalism.
Their behavior caused our family unnecessary stress for no valid reason. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this company at all cost.
Stopped in here after a horrible blowout on the interstate and was treated to the best service I've ever gotten at a tire shop - and I've been to many, all across the country. These guys are top-notch, with professional yet friendly dispositions and more-than-fair prices to boot!

This is one of the worst towing establishments that I had to do business with…. The lack of customer service from the tow guy is very concerning to me as a paying customer! Very prejudice establishment
This Company is a rip off... And if you call Junk for Cars in Dumfries va.. It rolls over to there Company... So they towed my car and lied on the phone like they was gone pay me... And them loaded my truck up and then said they needed the Title to Salvage it and it was a lie... This Company is a Fraud .... That's why my Attorney is handling everything for me... SO BEWARE OF CROPPERS TOWING👎😠

Be cautious with these guys. Very sure of themselves, they were late for an appointment they had to have to retrieve my car which if i had been late he would have charged me. They also charged more than what is legally allowed for towing and storage. I wouldn't let them change the inter tube on my bicycle. Refrain from dealing with them!
Cropper'sTowing and Tires was great. When you need assistance this company is honest, quick to service and professional. I recommend them and when needed I will be a return customer.
I brought my Subaru to them to have two new tires put on the rear of my car as I was leaving town the next day. I asked the short heavy set one if he balanced them because he put them on the car rather quickly. He assured me that he had. The next morning I left for my destination only to experience a wobble in the rear, even with luggage in the car. The next day I took the car to have them balanced. The tech who took the tires off and inspected them and showed me that no weights were put on and they were never done.
While driving north on 95 I blew a tire on my RV’s tow dolly just as rush hour was starting. They were able to come right out to where I was stuck and take the rim back to the shop to put on a new tire. I was back on the road in under an hour. Prompt courteous friendly service. Thank you!
Caucasian male was terrible. Humans are put on this earth to help one another and this man refuses to recognize his job is still customer service. I had 2 relatives pass away last week and lost my job due to injury. This man up-charged me just because he felt like it. Made me go through hell and back to prove that my car belonged to me. I pray god works a miracle in his life that helps him become nicer to people.
Customer service was good, but I happened to see the two workers smoking cigarettes in the shop. I understand it's a stressful job so I didn't mind, but I felt like I was walking in on their pow wow even though I urgently needed my car 😬😬
Got to my car immediately and fixed my tire (needed a plug) at a reasonable price.
Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that there wasn't really a waiting area (had to stand outside in the cold), no garage for the car to go into, and the guy helping me didn't have the best customer service skills. Didn't smile or talk much at all.
I love Croppers, they are always there when I need them when I need a tire or tires on my car. They have excellent service and very fast in what they do. I highly recommend Croppers to anyone.
Great group of guys. The owner was very nice. Out of the three guys I had working on the car they did wonderful job. They went above and beyond just to get us back on our trip safely and for a decent price. Thank you guys for everything you did.
Me and my wife came to croppers looking for a used tire on 10/2/19. After negotiations on what tire we wanted and the price, we agreed on 1 front tire for $60. The tire looked fairly good after looking at it on the rack. It took no time for the man to change the tire-- 10 minutes tops. After paying them for the parts and labor, the tire looked brand new to us. We then took our car in to get it inspected for the second time in 2 months, only to be rejected again because the tire we got had dry rot in the treads that weren't even bad. We proceeded to take the car back to croppers where the man that put the first tire on replaced the dry rot one with a new tire that had been plugged right. This place is good to go to for cheap used and new tires and quick service with good hospitality.
The prices here are okay and the workers are super quick and efficient. I had gone in to get a used tire to get my car to pass inspection. My husband did most of the talking and work with the gentleman who helped us. The work was done super fast. The tire looked good to us, but when we went to get my car reinspected 5 days later, the mechanic said that it was "dry rotted" in the treads. We went back to Cropper's to see if they could cut us a deal for a different tire. They replaced the tire for free so my car can now pass inspection! I would give 5 stars, but had to give 4 due to the fact that the original replacement tire didn't pass inspection. However, customer service here is A1!
The keys were locked inside my van, so I called to see if their tow service could unlock behicles--and they do! The man who answered the phone was courteous, and promised to have someone at my house in 20 minutes. In less than 15 minutes, he arrived. He was courteous, friendly, and professional. He unlocked my vehicle in only a couple of minutes. I later learned he is the owner. I will definitely use this company again, as I now know they are more than just a towing/automotive locksmith company!
Called at 8 a.m. or shortly thereafter this morning needing to have my car towed to a dealership because I had lost all electrical service and capabilities and the car was completely dead. Only a mile away from the towing company and the guy sounded like I had just woken him up and then he had absolutely no interest in helping me or coming out to tow the car. And I let him know that his lack of Interest was extremely apparent and that I was going to call someone else. Which I did. And they could not have been more helpful or nicer to me. Should I Ever Need Towing assistance again, I definitely will never be calling this business again. Customer service and interest in doing their job is nonexistent.
This establishment—near I-95 near northern VA—seems to have enjoyed longevity; which observation I do not find surprising as the staff was professional, seemingly knowledgeable of their trade, courteous, and attentive. And the costs incurred during my visit seemed within the margins of reasonable.
Screw in rear tire of my Tundra, losing most air within 24 hours of pumping it up. Pulled up, young guy that's a ball of energy immediately assisted me in backing the truck up to near the front door and immediately removed the screw and plugged the tire. Done in less than 5 minutes, paid $20 and was on my way. Outstanding experience!
