Damion at the Newport News store was fantastic. Diagnosed exactly what we needed and helped us figure out why things were going wrong. this was no minor issue as it was my car battery. we could not find what we thought we needed, until he helped us out and we discovered we were looking for the completely wrong one. He got us sorted and back on your feet in no time. 10/10 for fast friendly and efficient service!

Are they selling batteries or cars? There is an upcharge for everything; not a very pleasant experience. Probably find my batteries elsewhere in the future.

These guys are great. I had my car battery tested and replaced in 15 minutes. I also had my keyfob battery replaced. For an extra $10, your key fob battery will be replaced for the life of the car. I love it.

I had a horrendous experience when I went to this location for a simple phone screen repair. I was told the repair would take about an hour and they would let me know when completed. Since they had my phone, I obviously couldn't receive calls so I requested they email me, seemed like a reasonable request, but I was told "we normally don't email", but they decided to in my case. Silly comment to make to a phone repair customer. After almost 2 hours, about 30 mins before they closed they emailed and advised that they were not able to complete the repair for Apple certified parts, they could only complete the repair with aftermarket parts, and that I needed to let them know within 15 mins what I wanted to do. This was a very poor way to handle the issue considering they were late getting back to me and they were offering a service that I did not want which was aftermarket parts, not Apple certified. I advised that they could put the broken screen back on and I would pick up the phone in the same condition I dropped it off. Once I got there the manager was weirdly hanging around the corner listening but not contributing until I looked at him to acknowledge what he was doing was weird and he comes out to state that the problem was with Apple not Batteries Plus. As a manager everything he said was wrong. As a customer, who was assured the service would be completed and completed within an hour of which neither actually happened. The last thing I want to hear is a lack of accountability and excuses. I have had other phone screen repairs done, and have never had an issue with getting a repair before, this is basic level stuff, Youtube has tutorials for free, Apple just makes buying genuine parts difficult to acquire as a consumer, not a retailer or I would have done this myself. What really showed the lack of professionalism, knowledge, and care was after I left. I went to a different company for phone repair, one that was actually capable. When I arrived for my appointment they advised that they could not move forward with the repair due to Batteries Plus not closing out their work order with Apple. I called Batteries Plus while at the other phone repair shop to sort out the issue. To no surprise, they blamed the issue on Apple again, zero accountability. I wasted my time and gas twice and still was not able to get my phone screen repaired because of Batteries Plus. And to this day, months later, never received any update or effort for correction. They completely blocked my ability to get my phone repaired all while not having the ability to fix it themselves. This is a horrible establishment, and a poor representation of the franchise.

The staff is very friendly and gives prompt services. In addition, they offer other products and and give great advice on products provided to fit your needs. Prices are usually comparably lower than what you would expect from other retailers.

could not have a better staff than the team that was there on Sat Morning around 10ish. I delt mostly with Damien (sp?) knowlegable, polite and professional. breath of fresh air to find a place that still treat coustomers with respect and courtesy. now my first place to go when in need of thier supplies!

Ryan the manager was great! He was kind, patient, honest, and clear in his communication. He offered me a few options to replace my vehicle battery and did not pressure me in any direction. He didn’t have to, but I appreciate him installing the car battery for me! Keep up the great work he is an awesome manager!

do not take your watch here to get batteries changed. they are hacks at best. i brought two movados to get their battery changed. one was a decent job at best, put a few nicks in the cover. they just don’t have the correct tools. the other watch the guy couldn’t do and nicked up the watch so bad. he then asked for help from his coworker and the coworker said that movados are nice watches with tight tolerances and i should bring to a movado place. these are common watches, there’s nothing really special about them. the guy should have said to goto a movado place initially before messing up and nicking the watch. they definitely need better training. on top of everything the guy gives me back the watches with fingerprints all over. didn’t even bother to wipe down the watch. if you want quality, this isn’t the place.

The girl working there was quick to tell me I would need to try an auto parts store for the light bulb I needed witch I knew they didn't carry it. So then I asked her if she could order it because I have bought the same light bulb there in the past then all of a sudden she was able to find it in a matter of minutes I wonder how many people she sends away every day because she's too lazy to look for a part

If I could rate lower I would, I bought a battery for my motorcycle online, after UPS delivered it to the wrong house I received the battery a week past the "delivery date" I followed the directions let it fully charge put it in my bike, nothing, took the battery to auto zone yeah the battery is dead its not even registering, ok I brought my bike to the harley dealer they put a new battery in and boom starts right up, they gave me the print out saying the battery is dead , done for, no good. I bring it to return to the store WITH THE PRINT OUT SAYING IT IS BAD, to return I don't need a battery now anyways, they tell me they need to put it on there charger, that was Saturday morning, today Tuesday afternoon they call and say the battery is fine. Ok your telling me it takes 4 days for you to say if a battery is good or bad when it took 2 other business less than 5 min?. Whatever I asked to return they called the owner of NewportNews, hampton and williamsburg he said no. So now I'm stuck with a battery that they claim is good that I have proven is not, and have zero need for. I was told to call customer service and all they told me was I need to talk to the store. This whole company seems like nothing but a scam I don't recommend shopping at the NEWPORT NEWS, HAMPTON OR WILLIAMSBURG location it's all owned by the same guy who just takes money and runs ****EDIT***** After there auto generated response to my review telling me to contact the store, who then told me to contact the 1800 number because there's nothing they can do, the 1800 number said contact the store as there's nothing they can do, THEY KEEP SENDING ME IN A BIG CIRCLE, I stand by my words this place is a SCAM, even if it is there fault for the issue they find reasons to no refund or return

I can't say enough great things about this location. Not only did the first associate on the phone go above and beyond helping me. When I went in they helped me find the battery to solve my problem. Installed it and instructed me on special charging instructions. I will definitely be back. Props to amazing customer service 👏

Very unprofessional store clerk more interested in how fast he can get his lunch than do work. Manager started laughing when I told them the service I came today to receive and immediately asked clerk “Well do you want to order your lunch and I pick it up?” The goal was to deter me from the service completely stating “It will be an hour and a half before I can do it”. I honestly don't know how this place stays open. Items are extremely overpriced. A single 357 1.5v button battery was $4.99. Just ordered 40 from Amazon for $9. Only go here if you have a 1970 Timex red digital watch that takes that hard to find ZL52 battery. They have always been my last resort and still don't purchase anything. This was my last time.

Zach and the other gentleman at this store were extremely helpful and displayed excellent customer service skills. They far exceeded my expectations and were awesome to deal with overall. I highly recommend their service.

No stars. Sold me $240 worth of deep cycle batteries. Found them to be 5 months old and pretty fully discharged at 12.5 volts. Took hours to remove old and install new. My charger is in reconditioning mode pumping 24 amps to try to recover the batteries. Totally unacceptable!! Called store and was told this is normal by their standards

Horrible service. Zach claims to be the gm, district manager, asm, etc. however was unable to provide decent customer service. Also, he is the Senior Manager as he emphatically stated but is unfortunately incompetent in filling those roles. This location should truly consider hiring employees who are able to communicate effectively especially considering these times. I have been a customer for the last 2 1/2 years and greatly appreciate how most of the employees have always been respectful and knowledgeable. Zach however did not allow me to finish my question or even get to what I needed help with once he interjected and told me “we don’t sell duralast batteries” and therefore he never even looked me up in the system to tell me whether the battery I had purchased from them was able to be replaced. I continued to stay calm even though Zach provided me with no options aside from buying a new one and at this point he still had not taken a look in their system to see whether what I was referring to made sense or not. I simply started to ask a question as a customer and before I could complete he had the answer, Lol tighten up

Staff is very professional. Had to get my cell phone battery replace. Took about one hour. They also installed my new screen protector at no extra cost. I have done business with them several times and customer service is always the greatest. Thank you👍

Needed a new battery so I could convert my old iPhone 6S into a glorified iPod. The store had them in stock and was able to get it installed in under 30 minutes. Technician was very helpful and thorough. Would never know the device had ever been serviced, cosmetically. Fantastic service and will use them again for other battery replacement projects.

Friendly, helpful staff. Reasonable prices, parts in stock at the store, convenient location. I had these guys install an new battery in my Galaxy S8. They were very professional, and explained the entire process to me, so I knew what was involved in making the swap. I have always had good luck with this store, having used them multiple times in the past.

Glynn was super helpful and accommodating. He took time to explain the repair and to discuss my options. He completed the work quickly and I can’t be happier with the results. The 6 month warranty gives me confidence that the repair will stand.

Customer service was wonderful, and the fix was rather quick. Upfront and honest. 5 weeks after the fix, the phone fell from 18 inches high on to a carpeted service face up. The screen cracked. Went into the store to see about possible defective screen they would not provide any kind of assistance. This time it was horrible customer service. Called corporate, great customer service. However never heard anything back.

The staff was very professional and courteous. Replaced the battery in my Galaxy S6 given to me by my daughter for my birthday about 1-1/2 years ago. I am not an avid cellphone user, mainly for contact when away from home. I do think the cost was a little pricey $63.00 for an older phone, otherwise the experience was quick and very pleasant.

Did an outstanding job replacing the screen on my Samsung. Got it done in one day and that in itself was extremely impressive. Great people there that are really concerned about fixing your phones. I do believe that it might be there job but the quality of service is above reproach.

I've been to the store several times before and received GREAT service and directions. This time I was looking online to see the price of some batteries for the business emergency EXIT lights & alarm system - no doubt I was going to your store for them , just wanted to be prepared for the price (no idea how much they cost). Your online site was super easy to navigate and showed me options with full descriptions & price list - much to my surprise it offered me a coupon for online purchase & I COULD STILL GO TO THE STORE AND PICK IT UP (or have it delivered in a couple of days ..duh I'm picking it up). Went straight in with my purchase confirmation and the guys handed me the batteries I needed and reminded me about recycling - I could bring the old batteries back anytime. Loved your online service but I'm still an old school kinda guy who enjoys the personal contact of your well informed employees. 6 STARS
