Mike’s is the best! I really appreciate the fact that I can walk in here with car trouble knowing that I won’t be taken advantage of or lied to. My car was making a funny noise this week. I called and was able to get a quick appointment. The guys had my car in, diagnosed and fixed the problem in record time. They even took the time to show me the issue and explain what was happening and what that specific piece that was making the noise did. Also, the price could not be beat! I have every confidence in Mike’s and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my car care. Honest service. Fantastic staff. Low prices.
I would not recommend this place to anybody! I got an inspection done on my vehicle and they gave me a price over the phone for $988. When I went to go pick my vehicle up the total was $1400. They were persistent on me paying this price, but I did not agree to this over the phone. When I looked at the bill, they tried to charge me over $400 for blinker bulbs. If I would not have looked at the bill and would have just paid, I would’ve been completely ripped off. Unacceptable and completely untrustworthy.
Honest business. These guys are awesome. I am getting up there in age a bit and brought my truck in for an oil change and tire rotation. Went up to pay and they stated the truck did not need a rotation and they did not do it. "All is well. No uneven thread wear, thread depth is fine, and no issues. " Highly recommended.
Glenn was very kind. My friend and I were on our way to West Va a few weeks ago for a work conference when we had a nail in our tire. We were nervous to drive so many hours with a possible hole in our tire. There were no tire places opened on Saturday. Glenn and another gentleman were there on there day off and got us all fixed up and didn’t even charge for the service. There is still kindness in the world! Thank you.
Took my Durango for an oil change and alignment. Service was prompt, friendly and fantastic! I will always recommend this establishment to anyone I know who needs work done on their vehicles!
Took my 2012 Dodge truck to Mike's it was running awful they figured out what was wrong with it and fixed it much faster than I expected and now she runs great.
We took our van to get looked at because it was having problems and a friend recommended Mike’s Tire. The staff was friendly but they gave us a high estimate for the things that they needed to fix. We decided to pay them for labor and take the car to another mechanic. Glad we did! We saved over $600 going to someone else. They told us they couldn’t find a part for our van and it was going to cost a lot more because of that. Our van is old so we expected the part to be hard to find but the second mechanic found the same part for way cheaper. They also told us we needed new break lines but the second mechanic said they were in perfect condition they just had a little grease that needed to be cleaned off. Definitely not taking anything else to them!
Travel nurse just stopped in because my tire is losing air. The lady at desk was rude to say the least. "We don't have a tire for you" not can I order you one or any kind of suggestion.vi went next door
They had my car back to me way faster than what I expected and a lot cheaper. Great work, always very nice when I called. I will definitely be back next time my car needs serviced.
Took my car there today, was a terrible experience and here’s in depth as to why. Went there in hopes of getting some good help which is already hard to find and got welcomed with negativity, one guy wanted to help and another came out and was totally rude and assumed I didn’t know anything so he made a ridiculous excuse to not work on my car and try to help. I tried to be polite but he started talking down on my car saying all these things are a waste of money and so forth. Don’t take your business here. Take your hard earned money to someone who actually help you without disrespecting you. Terrible buisness practice being done here.

These folks are amazingly professional, efficient, and very helpful. I was traveling across the country and had a major automobile problem come up. They got me back on the road within 24 hours.

My last two visits have give me pause. The last one has cause me to leave Mikes for good. The 1st mistake was a mistake of inexperience of tech. The Second should have never happen because all things should have been checked when oil change and trip check is order,
I have used Mikes Tire and Auto many times. I have several vehicles. They always call to explain the issues with my vehicle, the parts or service needed and the cost. Not once have they tried to "upsell" on anything that was not necessary for my fixes. I currently have another vehicle there. I would definitely recommend you use Mikes Tire and Auto for all you vehicle servicing.
They were so fast and courteous! While I was waiting, I heard them give honest bad news to another customer that they could do a repair but the cost was more than the car was worth. She thanked them for saving her from a bad investment. I would recommend to anyone, and they especially take care of teachers.
I got my oil changed and state inspection. I have come here my whole life. I currently live in Williamsburg and still come here.
I always end up talking to a kind and patient human, either on the phone or in person. They will discuss your needs and explain what's going on with your car, whether you're a specialist or not. I am not, but want to learn so I appreciate them taking their time with me.

My family and I ran into some transmission issues with our truck and got a replacement from a company that ended up being a nightmare. With the holidays coming up, we were extremely stressed about not meeting deadlines that we have saved a long time for, since the transmission issues/warranty work had been going on for nearly 6 months. I stopped in at Mike’s and spoke to Tyler about my transmission issues and they got me in and out, on two separate occasions flawlessly. Mike’s is hands down the most professional automotive shop I have ever had the pleasure of working with, they kept me informed along the way and never skipped a beat. I highly recommend them above anyone else in the area. I would give them 10 stars if I could! Thanks to Tyler and his hard work, I can now take my family on this Christmas trip!
Came in for installation of four tires I bought. Had an appointment for 9, was out by 10:15. $25 per tire for mount and balance, $8 per tire for disposal of old tires. Very reasonable, courteous and professional. Planning to bring my car back for future service.
I had a great experience at Mikes. They performed a 60k mile service on my jeep and the work was done quickly and I was promptly called when the work was accomplished. The gentleman at the front desk seemed knowledgeable and eager to insure my service was completed to my fullest wishes. I would recommend for anyone that is in need of vehicle maintenance.
The absolute worst. Second time around I’ve been highly disappointed with them. First time they charged me a lot of money for state inspection on something they found wrong with my truck that another mechanic said was completely fine. This time I told them I needed my tires put on by a certain time so I could make it to work. I dropped my truck off super early and they guaranteed it would be done long before the time I needed it. Called around lunch time and they said it would still be done on time. Showed up to get my truck and it wasn’t even in the garage yet. These guys are awful
Randy was super accommodating and extremely easy to work with. He walked me through the options and the pros and cons and it made sense to a non mechanic.
I was referred to them by a friend and I see why.

I went to 3 other shops who told me I needed to buy a whole new part and pay between $400-$500 total for a simple fix. Mike's just saved me hundreds and helped me last minute and very quickly. Everyone here is polite and very helpful, and every job I need in the future will be performed here.
This was my first time going to Mike's and it was great. Fast, good prices, trustworthy, and GREAT staff. Stephen was so helpful and went above and beyond to help me. I will be going to them for everything from now on. Make an appointment...they are busy because they are the best.
