I had a great experience with McGee and Alyssa my customer service rep. I'd previously gone to another Ford dealer closer to home for an issue with water leaking into the cabin of my truck. That dealer outsourced the diagnosis, and their assessment was wildly inaccurate and it was easy to verify it. When I spoke to them about it they basically shrugged their shoulders. This isn't the first time I had that issue with them. McGee from my first call through my service actually cared about getting it right, consistently checked in to keep me up to date, and most importantly did a good job at a fair price. Even though they're about twice as far from my house as the other dealer, I'll be going back.

Service at McGee can be a mixed bag. As far as I can tell, the service itself, while expensive, has been sufficient, but the service counter staff can be hit or miss: sometimes welcoming, sometimes dismissive. This last time I was there was the first better experience I've had (thanks Alyssa) but as that's the only direct interface with the customer (they won't let you into the shop) then that's where you really need every interaction to be top notch.

Working with the team at McGee Ford was a pleasure. Jacob was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the process of getting into a Mustang Mach-E, and Steve went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with every detail. I’m confident in recommending them to anyone looking for a smooth, professional car-buying experience. Thank you!

On the positive side of things, I was thankful that I was able to keep my appointment with changing over my snow tires. Personally, I’m SUPER disappointed with the fact that it apparently means NOTHING to have made an appointment for truck servicing, because I didn’t get my truck back for almost a week and had to pay for a rental car for at least 3 days, while still being charged a lot for just looking over the wiring in my truck! I sure wasn’t compensated for the expenses and inconvenience that I incurred! I had been told that 5 technicians had called out that week. I’m guessing that it was more important for guys to either go deer hunting than work on my truck, which would’ve only taken a day anywhere else! To put this in perspective, I had recently taken another of my Fords to a dealership for a multi-point inspection, but it was in DE, and I was only charged $150. I was charged $365 for THIS debacle, so next time someone recommends McGee Ford to me, I’m going to RUN! I do NOT know how these folks stay in business, but ALL the way around, it was horrible!!!!

Great dealership experience. My salesman took my trade and was able to get me into a leased 2025 Bronco Sport the same day. I love my new car and their financial team worked hard to get the numbers perfect for me. Definitely recommend going here

Buying a vehicle is a big deal. Doing it with people you feel you can trust makes the experience that much better. From my inquiry on-line to the moment before I drove my brand new Maverick off the lot, Jacob was incredibly helpful. Not only was he quick to reply to my questions, but he empowered me to choose the color, details and car that I wanted and made sure I was satisfied with what I was getting. Highly recommend! McGee and Creighton couldn’t have been more accommodating, friendly and professional! From the day I walked in to make an inquiry about the new hybrid Mavericks, to the day I placed my order for one and finally the day I picked it up, Creighton was top notch. Maybe that’s the long game there, but good on them! I felt taken care of during my entire process (6-7 months) from inquiry to driving off the lot. While I’m entirely happy with the vehicle I purchased, I was even more impressed with the honesty and integrity Creighton gave me throughout it all!

I have never had to do this before and hopefully it will spur this group into improvement. I did purchase my truck from McGee the sale was easy. After the sale is the hook. I scheduled an appointment for a defective part no biggie right. Until they told me all the services this truck needs for it's 60,000 miles services I would have been fine with it except I purchased it at over 70,000 miles. This group knowingly passed a few thousand dollars worth of work to me. I will be contacting ford corporate office with this.

Brittany was very kind and considerate however I showed up for an inspection at 7:30 in the morning it needed brakes in the front end. I don’t need a Pittman seal. I waited there all day until almost 2:30 in the afternoon when they decided to give me a loaner a waste of a whole day they want to get their parts from a dealership which to me is the most expensive way to go when there are many parts stores very nearby. I see no reason a simple brake job should take so long the next day they return my truck to me in the afternoon and it still had no inspection sticker on it. They tell me now I must drive it for a while and then bring it back costing me even more time that I’ve already spent since I bought my truck there they offered me free inspections, but this is the way things will go. I think I will pay for my inspections elsewhere.

Nicco and the team at McGee made it extremely easy to buy a truck from. No BS just a good deal from good people. Other local dealers will sit there and say “yea that’s the best we can do” or “we don’t have as much margin anymore” don’t listen to them. Go to McGee and they will treat you right. Greetings to all future customers: We are traveling from California and needed to have our rv van serviced with standard oil change and multipoint inspection. We did ask for the tires to be aired to the proper pressure, and this is the reason for writing this review. The original quote was $80 plus parts and labor which added up to a total of $120.01. You can imagine our shock when we were charged an additional $86.72 for a few minutes of time to air the tires, which brought the total bill to $230.20. We had the same service performed in California with additional brake inspection Feb. 2025, prior to leaving, for $99.08 total. We were also not informed in advance about the absurd tire inflation cost in advance, which we would have declined. We recently purchased a new Ford F250 truck from Creighton Vogt and realized that there was no electric brake controller for towing our travel trailer. Creighton assured us that they could get one installed by the time we were supposed to leave on Thursday. Well Wednesday came and hadn’t heard anything yet, then Wednesday afternoon Creighton sent me a tact saying the job was done and I could come and pick up my truck. Kudos to Creighton, the parts and service teams for making this happen!! Thank you all!! Definitely would recommend McGee Ford of Montpelier!!

Always nice when you can buy close to home and still get competitive pricing. No experience to comment on the service dept yet but for the sales side Nico made the buying process straight forward and quickly answered any questions that came up while the truck was in transit. Would definitely work with him again and recommend him to anyone looking into a vehicle at McGee.

We had the most amazing experience working with Jacob and Steve today! From start to finish they were very attentive and hands on. Even when it came to our kids we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We told them where we wanted to be to make it happen and not only did they meet where we needed to be but they also beat it.

I’ve changed reviews a few times now going back and forth after misunderstanding some of the information I got and over all my experience was good. I love my new car. It’s so much fun to drive! Jake was my salesman and he was great. I was originally looking for a Volkswagen Tiguan but due to negative equity in my trade I couldn’t get one which probably worked out for the best. I looked around for a bit and had never been interested in a ford so I was ready to head out and keep searching when Jake pointed out this explorer ST. Once I took it for a drive I loved it! This car is fast and spacious which is great when having children and needing the storage space. Also a big thanks to Kevin who had a driver come pick up the car when I felt that there may have been something wrong with it. Someone met me at my house over an hour away to pick it up and left me with a nice loaner and then when I returned paperwork to them that they needed I picked my car up and everything was good to go! I can’t explain how appreciative I was of that. Even Steve from the finance department was wonderful considering he stayed past closing time on a Saturday to close this deal. A big thanks to each one of you!

Kevin hooked me up with my beautiful F-150 and made sure I got the appropriate warranty for my budget. Brittany and the service team have been great, dealing with service and completing a big warranty job for me. I've heard a lot of complaints about dealerships, but I've had a great experience with everyone at McGee. They try to make sure I have a loaner, if I have to leave my truck for a while. Best dealership experience by far...

The sale of my jeep was amazing. The sales man and the sales manager were great. The service afterwords, I am sad to say hasn't been the greatest. I had a complaint from the very beginning and mentioned it even before signing the papers and was told that it would be taken care of. I then scheduled the service to have it looked at and each time I talked to service (about 9 times in total) I mentioned the problem that needed to be addressed. When it came time to pick up my jeep I was told "this is the first I am hearing of the issue" When it was the same person I spoke with all 9 times. Then I was told there was a check list that needed to happen in order for the issue to work. I am not a dumb woman and I knew differently. After a very intense conversation I was then scheduled for the issue to be fixed at jeep. But not before being told that the mechanic that worked on my jeep said the light for the problem wasn't on. I got in and guess what it was on. I am very happy with the purchase of my vehicle just not the service department.

I have been truck shopping for quite some time now and called on one at McGee Ford and was greeted by Nicco Richardson and I explained to him what I’m looking for in a work truck for my lawn care business and he told me of the great selection of F150s that would do what I need it to (I originally was looking for f250) I went there in search of an ad online and he showed me a different truck that I had missed and wow… it was one of those deals/ type of truck I’ve been looking for I just couldn’t say no to. Nicco was very professional at what he does and with explaining the trucks features and far from being “pushy”. He was very attentive, respectful, and genuinely cares of his customers. The whole staff were great in the office and I’m sure they are all great to work with also. My experience with my salesman was fantastic though and this dealership takes the stress out of vehicle shopping, even being from NY.
