Yesterday I brought in $7 worth of bottles and only got $5.10 for them ik that there was $7 worth because I counted them before I went there then today my friend and I was collecting bottles and the owner came out and was halloring at my friend for no reason as we weren't going to Coles we plan on bringing any bottles we collect to Horizons as you get more for your bottles there and you don't get jipped
The convenience and cleanliness is great the prices are alright, ranging from cheap to competitive. It's got a large bear selection and a decent snack selection, it could use some sharp branding and better food, although food is by means it's business focus. Additionally the bottle room staff is often untrained. It's a close 4 for mean it's could easily be made better if they put some money into it.
They ripped me off.... I took over $300 in bottles to them and got $114..... they are thief's. Now they each get $100 that was mine. The youg girl was nice but the other two old ones are very rude.:(
I absolutely love this family owned and operated store! I'm always greeted with a smile and always leaving with one myself! Truly incredible employees that make you feel right at home!
I always bring my bottles/cans here. They are always and fast and never hassle me about having so many.
Update a year later: Now I am being told, that I can’t exit the building with the printed receipt from my returns or they won’t cash it. I have always put my boxes back in my car and the cashed the receipt. What logic does this make? Do the think I have another calculated in my car or that a bring a receipt to switch them out? I just don’t understand the logic of this. Reduced my rating by one star.
Post rant, I still enjoy the ease and speed of coming here.
Brought back 2 and a half bags and got ripped off brought less to horizons and got the same amount of cash makes me question just know I'll never go back ?
My boyfriend and I called ahead of time to know when the redemption center closed because we were going on vacation out of country the next day. The lady working told us 8. We got there at 10 to 8 and the same girl was outside smoking, the door was locked and she told us "it says it's past 8 on OUR clock." And went on socializing over her cigarette.
