Outstanding service experience. Zack and the rest of the customer-facing service team were friendly, courteous and thorough. Communication from start to finish was top notch. This was a company vehicle that needed an emissions repair when it was actively in service. The team at St J GMC were able to get me into a suitable loaner and turned the repair around quickly so I could get the vehicle back on the road where it was needed. My personal car is a luxury brand known for for their customer experience- This appointment was every bit as good as if not better than my service experiences for that vehicle.

I just traded my truck in for a 2500, Ashlyn was my sales person. This entire experience has been one of the best car purchasing experiences i have ever had. The communication was clear the entire way and they made the purchasing process and paperwork so easy. I am happy with the truck i chose and even more happy to be apart of this dealerships fam! I just leased a 2026 GMC Terrain from St.Johnsbury GMC. Dean was my sales consultant and we clicked right away. He took his time answering all of the questions I had (I had a list 😊), eventually helping me find the perfect vehicle for me. Amy in finance was so patient and explained everything thoroughly. I’ve been in the car business for 32 years. Doug was one of the very very best people to work with five star review. If I could give 10 I would do that. I highly recommend St. John’s Barry TMC. They will treat you just like family. They went over every option on the truck that I purchased and not only that they followed up with me the next day and a week later they just wanted to make sure that I was a happy customer not just for one sale, but for the rest of my life in my family‘s life. I’d never recommend anyone buy a GMC after the year 2020, all the transmissions are garbage. Bought my truck brand new, has 8 miles on it. At 42k I started having issues with it hesitating when pulling out into traffic and also lurching forward for no apparent reason too, which caused my daughter to rear end a Tesla at a light in traffic. I take it to the dealer again and they tell me after putting 1k into it that there’s nothing emerging with it…”drives as designed”. Really? Now as of last week this truck with only 61k had me stranded on the side of the road with my disabled client with me. This is unacceptable and even could have been prevented if you took my claims of issues to begin with. What a joke.

Sales service was top notch, I had Ashlyn as my sales consultant and she was very knowledgeable and made sure everything went smoothly. I'm looking forward to having my new to me truck serviced at St. Johnsbury GMC. I would highly recommend St. Johnsbury GMC for your next vehicle and if you've already been you know why, the staff from sales to finance and everyone in between were exceptional! Update I recently had the dreaded engine light come on and had to bring it into service. It was for the reluctant quality sensor, it's all new to me. They got me in to diagnose the problem determined it was a common warning and cleared everything. They inspected everything underneath no leaks then road tested it and all was good before returning it. The service writer was curtious and plesànt. I am very happy with the service I received and look forward to having my trucked serviced here. Great team of professionals happy to help.

Brought my 2025 sierra in for AC issue and burning smell. Was told they were able to duplicate issue. Next day they pulled refrigerant and found it in spec. So they refilled it. Then told me they couldnt duplicate issue and it was working. They tried to tell me there was nothing wrong and that it was just to cold. I told them the issue started on a day that was around 50 degrees. They just kept reading off a PDF that told me the conditions that needed to be met for compressor to run. None of them were even a problem the day before or the day of. Asked for detailed information got 1 sentence and then told my GM I couldnt return. I asked the advisor at the counter a question about the paperwork and she got flustered left the room and I was told I made her cry. I asked what I said that would make her cry and they wouldn't tell me. Weird I question the legitimacy of their work and that the issue seemed to be intermittent. And I asked a question about paperwork and the advisor clearly having a bad day was my fault... worst experience ever. Tried to put a complaint in with GMC online and basically got told there was nothing they could do with the General Manager telling me to not return. They didnt even call and see what was the issue. Was told to try another dealership. That same afternoon after picking up the truck burning smell. And there was no way to check the compressor because it tech was below 34 degrees that day. Sure enough AC isn't working again. And everytime I drive the truck the burning smell is more and more pungent. Don't buy or get work done by any dealership that Abel Toll ownes. One other thing first time buying a GMC and this is the worst it's been with customer service.

When I walked in the door I was greater by the lady at the front desk. Shea was my salesman he was very good at what he does he made me and my wife very comfortable being there. It was very cold that day after we bought the new truck he helped me transfer all my stuff from my old truck to the new one .we were very cold after switching everything over I had alot of stuff in my old truck. In my book he went above and beyond never had kind of service from other dealers. He set up my navigation system for me to get home before we parted ways. Thank you Shea for your wonderful service I will recommend you to my friends and family. And thank you to the very nice lady that we signed the paper work with. We give you all a 10+. Jason made purchasing my new Yukon a great experience and as painless as possible. He explained everything every step of the way and always listened to me and what I wanted. He never pushed or rushed me. Jason met my husband and I when we were casually looking at vehicles at the dealership and never pushed us about what we wanted or to make a purchase. He listened, treated us like friends, and said he would be there when we were ready. We went back a month later for a second time to see what new inventory they had. Jason remembered us and came right out to greet us. He let me take the lead on the purchase of the vehicle and made me feel like part of the process, not cutting me off and dealing with only my husband, which was refreshing.

Just wanted to say thanks to the friendly staff at St Jay GMC. Emma was very helpful on the phone and when I arrived on site. She had the truck I wanted to see brought right to the door. I then met Dean(salesman). Might I add the best. No BS no hassle over price no sales gimmicks just a real guy helping me find the truck I wanted. I then meet Amy she helped me with the financing and final paperwork. Also very friendly and helpful. Again no pressure. Best experience I’ve ever had in a dealership by far. Great team. By far the best experience I’ve ever had purchasing a new vehicle! We fly out from New Mexico to purchase it and the process was seamless. I highly recommend St Johnsbury GMC. I went there knowing what I wanted and my sales associate Shea was extremely helpful. I got to test drive the truck I wanted and fell in love with it, the truck just wasn’t the right color. I test drove the truck on Saturday and by Wednesday they had brought in a truck from out of state in the exact color and package as I requested. Overall very satisfied with the service and quality of truck and will continue to utilize the service and sales team. I take it as a good omen – a rainbow came out the same night I brought the truck home!

We were on a trip when alert for oil change came up. It was Friday, and although they were busy, Kinley was able to squeeze me in that same day! She called back to let me know when the service was complete. We were unable to get back that day, so they left keys with sales department. I picked up vehicle next day and everyone there was excited to see us and the dogs! Thanks so much everyone at St Johnsbury GMC!

I worked with Ashlyn and Amy at GMC and was completely satisfied by my experience. First of all, there’s a dog there on Saturday’s so that was great. Second, Ashlyn is not pushy by any means. All of her questions were tailored to getting to know what I liked and didn’t like. All of the other sales folks were working with other customers and I didn’t hear any pressure. Ashlyn and I emailed bit before meeting in person as well. Amy took care of the finance side of things and helped me talk through my options. At the end of the day, I walked away with a wonderful Mama Bear SUV that will take our family on many adventures.

Highly recommend. Drove 4 hours away to purchase here, smooth easy transaction and worth the drive. Great price listed online and that was the price I paid, no bait n switch nonsense. Ashlyn was very friendly and made it easy. Amy in finance was also extremely friendly and great to deal with. Awesome dealership!
