Emily was amazing and so, so helpful! Went above and beyond to help us even though I know they were super busy. She was happy to assist us and made sure we were taken care of.

Honestly I am very disappointed with my experience here. I went in to buy a battery (after calling to see if I could be helped) and the employee told me to go take a picture of the battery instead of walking out and looking at it himself. He said he could not help me because it was too corroded and it would take too long and I stg he said that he “did not want to spend 45 minutes out in the cold”. He told me to go to a mechanic. I went next door to Oreillys and they fixed it for me in 10 minutes! Shout out O’reilly’s for real.

Was able to drop off a couple of batteries and used oil and the people were very helpful. I also was looking for a part and they didn't have it though gave me ideas of where I could go. Above and beyond customer service.

Amazing customer service. The manager & staff were so friendly and helped me install a beam light on my car :)

I travel alone at 3:30 am and work out past the airport by amazon. My husband left out of town to work for the week. I did not want to be stranded so i purchased a new battery. The person helping me did not want to help me nor did the manager. The younger guy that came out with me needs training. He did not know how to secure the new battery or how to use the tools to clean off the cables or get a bolt off etc. Brayden just got to work and came right out and helped me. He has excellent customer service skills, polite went above what his responsibilites were to make sure I was safe when driving my car he secured the new battery and made me feel that i could trust not only his service but the company for which he works for. Without people like him you are worthless to the people you sell to. I hope you give him $20 extra bucks on his check and lots of recognition for making your company look good. He was outstanding and it’s the only reason i am giving this company 5 stars. The service i received before Brayden was not even a 1 star. Shauna

Never had a bad experience until I was helped by Richard W. Who is the store manager according to his name tag. Not friendly, customer service oriented, or polite. I felt like I was disturbing him and was uncomfortable returning parts.

I had to return a product that was incomplete from a different AutoZone to this store. They were quick, efficient, and helpful and they made the exchange without any issues. I'm very thankful and rate them high for turning a challenging situation into a win for all!!

The customer service so horrible and i feel like they don’t wanna helping the customer. So bad. The battery in my car was died when i stopped there. I bought the new one from them. I need them help and The guys have the black wool hat, he say he can’t do that, OK, i think when i remove the old one, he can help me replacement the new one i bought from them. But he say NO and said he can not do that, i can go anywhere else to do that if i want. OMG, so disappointed for the customer service from them. Not recommend to come this place. HORRIBLE, DISAPPOINTING, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

To start off I will say everyone was friendly. I got a battery 7/24 and it was shot by April 2025. It was under warranty & I received a new one at no charge. The guy helping me asked me if I brought tools to install it and I said no, they had always done it for me. He pointed to a pile of tools and said there was some I could use and I said no, I would like an employee to do it. They always have, it’s part of buying a battery there. I was there for over 40 mins & this dude had no idea how to change a battery. I was trying to be patient and kind but he was loosening the wrong nuts & had zero common sense. He ended up leaving & not coming back?? I swapped out the battery myself & when I was finishing someone came out and said “he didn’t grow up with a dad” as if that’s an excuse? A father is not required to change a battery, mine was absent and never taught me either. I have common sense. It’s a part of the job, it should be a part of the training. I’m blown away with how ridiculous the whole situation was. I absolutely will not be returning. Had this guy actually figured out how to connect the leads on my battery it would’ve fallen out as he didn’t have it secured & had set it on top on the latches to hold it in. Ridiculous and dangerous.

I went in for help with changing a tail light. I wasn’t sure if it was a break light or the turn signal light, I had just been told that one of my lights were out. The auto zone employee wouldn’t come out to my car and help me find out which one it was. I also needed a head light bulb changed and he pointed me in the direction on where to find the light bulb but then told me they won’t be helping with installing the new one. I drove across the street to Oriellys auto parts and they help me with all my needs.

The parts manager working 10/31 to was completely useless and lazy. I went in to see if my battery was low, he took one look at it and said that my issue is probably bigger than the battery due to the way the battery looks. He attached the machine to test it and it kept beeping and saying “no connection found” so he said that probably means I need a new battery or it could be his machine?? Did he walk in and grab a new machine? No. I asked him if I can buy a new one and have it installed here, he ignored me, so I asked again and he said yeah we can sometimes. He then told me that it wouldn’t be safe for him to replace it because of the cable that was next to the battery. Complete bullshit! I bought the battery anyway, took it home, and my boyfriend had it installed within 10 minutes. There’s absolutely no reason he couldn’t replace it at the store. He then told me that I can return the old battery tomorrow or at any other AutoZone - probably because he didn’t want to have to deal with me when I came back in to complain about my experience with him. He’s lucky he wasn’t there by the time I returned the old battery same day or he would have gotten an ear full. He also failed to offer me the battery installation kit with my new battery which my boyfriend told me to get when I went back. He should be no manager of any sort if that’s how he as at work. I saw a younger man out helping two customers both times I was there, he sold me the battery installation kit. He failed to give it to me and I noticed when I went back to my car to write the review. Although he failed to hand me the product I paid for, he at least looked like he was actually working and helping people. Get it together AutoZone! You can see my older review for them as well. This place is always a complete nightmare and I have given them many chances. Looks like a review below me had a similar experience, I can’t remember if his hair was red or purple or pink but it was colored, looks like he has a history of not helping customers.

I usually love Autozone, but, some of the older gentlemen tend to treat female customers as less knowledgeable than their male counterparts. Their warranties are worth every penny. Updating for the new crew: The new crew is 100% better. The service manager impressed me today. I had my daughter run in to grab the code reader because my check engine light came on. He asked her if she knew how to run it, she said no, but her mom did. He took the opportunity to teach her, as I was going to do, but, the fact that he not only took that step to ensure she could run a code herself, but patiently explained why the VIN won't show on am older car was impressive. I appreciate him being kind, patient, and informative to my daughter.

Usually when I go into a auto parts store they know how to help me and know exactly what I need, the guy with reddish hair was not only rude and standoff ish, he had no idea how to help me, I ask if he could help me get the cabin air filter I need and he just goes off on how he doesn’t do replacements and I ask if he can at least show me where the filters are and he says “ I don’t know what tools you need” so I was like okay maybe I shouldn’t assume they know basic stuff you should know working at autozone, so I go to Oreillys and they know how to help me immediately.

I went in to buy some replacement screws and the plastic fitting for my license plates as I lost a screw while driving. But I wasn’t sure what to get. I waited for about 10 mins but tried to look myself before someone helped me and then when I asked what size the guy laughed and said “they’re universal so there’s only one size” and then left me to make a selection. When I went to purchase them I waited again before noticing there was a self check out. So I just did that then asked is someone could possibly help me as I didn’t have a screw driver and wasn’t sure how to insert the plastic piece to replace the one that had been stripped. The same guy told me no they couldn’t help me unless it was too replace a battery or my windshield wipers. So I went home only to find that the “universal size” was in fact too big for my car and the fitting was not the correct one. I then went back to the store to return the products and ask if someone else could help me. No luck. I called my husband flustered and he suggest I go to a different auto store so I did. And it was a as much better experience. Never going to auto zone again. They basically ignored me and then when they did “help” treated me poorly.

Aidyn was fantastic. I had an electrical problem and he was able to quickly diagnose an alternator problem and gave me a new alternator under the lifetime warranty replacement. Everything was quick and easy and I appreciated the service.

Twice now this week, my daughter who is learning to turn a wrench has been subjected to demeaning, rude, misogynist mansplaining at this store. Even though both times she had the very part number we had decided upon, the “men” kept treating her as an ill-informed idiot. Never in all my years have I been treated that way as a man. Seems like management needs to clean house- unless they are leading the discrimination train. My money is going elsewhere and I suggest you do the same.

Aivry and his coworkers went above and beyond to help me diagnose my car problems, recommend the correct parts I needed, and get me back on the road! Probably my best AutoZone experience ever and they were happy to help! I love that they will read your check engine light codes for free (even when it is super cold outside)!

I went to get a passenger side windshield wiper. Ask the worker to help me find a good one. He said he couldn't pick one out for me, that I'd have to pick it out. Kind of disappointed in that. So I picked one out which wasn't a good one & luckily for me he was busy helping other customers out, & the assistant manager came & helped me instead. He was a great help to me. Also told me that the other worker didn't even own a car. So I was very happy the manager was there to help me.

I called saying that my battery was dead and asked if they had enough employees to help me buy and install the battery if needed. They said that they would be able to install it, and that I could come over and get my battery tested. I was helped by an employee who tested my battery and said that it didn’t have enough battery for her to actually test the battery. When I asked what I should do, because she didn’t give me any solutions, she seemed almost annoyed and said that I would have to buy a new battery, but that an employee was going on break to have lunch and another employee was busy, her being the only available employee she would be unable to help me install it. She then went inside and left me with a dead battery in the parking lot, didn’t even offer to help me get my battery jumped in order to get it to get to the next location. Really a waste of time and poor customer service

Worked with James H. This guy’s a superstar! James walked us through battery options and subsequent purchase, helped us clean the battery connections, swapped out the old battery. Super informative, very kind, extremely helpful! 6 out of 5 stars!!

I've been coming here a long time and the store is always clean and easy to find things. The employees are always helpful if you have questions and they treat you well. We've always found everything we're looking and the prices are very reasonable.

The store manager Jonathan was super awesome and very helpful! I went in to get a new low beam light for the right side. Not only did he change that one for me but did the other side as well! Super knowledgeable and incredibly kind! Car issues are never fun but when someone makes it a good experience it makes it a little better. Thanks again Jonathan!

Went in today to get some information on a battery (actually 2) and was assisted by Richard. I just want to say his service was absolutely top shelf. He helped me to determine the best course of action (driving my truck in, testing the batteries vs. removing them and bringing them in) He answered all of my questions and was extremely patient and courteous. 5 stars for Richard and Auto Zone Sandy, UT location!!!!!
