We had a truck in this shop for months. Finally got it back $15,000 later and we could only get the speed up to 15 mph. Not sure what they "fixed" but they happily took our money.

I am extremely disappointed with the service at this shop. Yesterday, I arrived at 11 AM and was told the repair would take 2 hours. It was not completed, and the truck remained there all day. I had to go to a hotel and come back the next morning, and they told me it would take 6 hours—again, it was not done. My truck still hasn’t even been brought into the shop properly; it’s still outside. Several people were sitting at the computer, but no real work was being done. This is very unprofessional and has caused me serious delays. I strongly warn others not to rely on this shop, as they cannot be trusted to complete repairs as promised.

This place is great, I have been taking my trucks to them for the last 3 years. The service department has always taken care of me. But my man Ryan has been there since Day 1. He is great to work with, gets the work done fast! For the sales side I bought a truck from Calvin. He made the process super easy, and will definitely be buying another truck from him again

Ryan has been very communicative and helpful keeping our fleet healthy and on the road!

Great truck repair shop with excellent service. We brought our truck in at 11:30 AM and had it back on the road by 5 PM the same day. The issue was a DPF replacement, and everything was handled quickly and professionally. Friendly staff and a very comfortable waiting area. Highly recommend.

I used the wheel alignment and computer balancing service. They do not accept phone reservations here. It's first come, first served. Wheel balancing costs $250, including setting up the ECR computer system. 220$

I hate calling them on the phone. It always takes forever even on a good day. They’ve helped me in the past and been ok to deal with. But I’ve tried calling their parts department 5 times this week and spent atleast 2hours on hold just to never talk to anyone. The parts department is definitely lacking.

I spoke with Ryan the night before. Thanks to him, He told me when service opened the next business day. Upon opening, Taylor took my information and came up with a very good strategy. Roberto plugged in the diagnostic computer before we took two test rides, one bobtail, one with the loaded trailer. In between these trips, there were some reset/updates For the system. With the load, we tried to re-create the initial complaint. Engine derate was culprit. Thankfully, that did not reappear nor did any other codes (intermittent and random in nature). Apparently, even the de rate alert was a system error and not actual. I would’ve never known that had the system reset not occurred-Better to be safe than sorry. I’m grateful for this dealer and the crew that helped me with this job. My thanks to everyone. Highly recommended for especially international tractor drivers like myself.

Horrible customer service. They mark up the parts way to high. You can buy from other venders for 1/3 the cost. They never answer the phone when you are trying to order parts so I always have to send someone in to order the parts. Then the parts counter is always very rude to us. Several of my employees complain about the parts counter staff being unhelpful and rude.

I have never had such an Amazing Customer service experience and Madison is the friendliest person I have ever dealt with. They got my vehicle in immediately. Try out Rush Truck

without a doubt in my mind this is the worst dealership to call for parts. Its worth calling an international dealership in a different state and shipping parts in.

We have a truck with only 26,000 miles on it that we bought brand new from them. The AC Went out. With his busy the summer of moving has been we barely were able to get it over to them and now it has a few extra thousand miles as we use this truck to do out of state jobs. They are trying to say that it’s not covered under warranty with only 26,000 miles on it when it went out. When I bought the truck I was told I had it would be fully covered. Them when we brought it in for the warranty work to be done they are trying to charge us 2000 to fix it and charge us 549 bucks for a diagnostics fee???? After we told them not to do anything with it if it’s not covered under warranty. Are you kidding me? How is this not covered under warranty on a truck with only that mileage on it? Don’t do business with these guys. We have called multiple times, left multiple messages, and still no return call.

friendly welcome and thoughtfulness for the drivers, right down to the washing machine, the seats in the waiting room are very good, just a bit expensive

I had left my truck here for 2days to get it fix just got it today at 11am supposedly fixed after being charged over 7k I still broke down and haven’t gotten to my delivery with the load

Very bad service..! My truck was brought in on Friday 03-28 and was picked up on Friday 04-11 and it still had the same fault..! In that period of time the truck was inspected 4 times and they always gave me different diagnoses and they never bothered to change and repair the fault for which I brought it in..! Their only interest was to make more money..! I bought the truck at their dealer and with only 5 thousand miles of use I already need to invest 11 thousand dollars to get it working..!

I bought a 2022 International Lonestar in the immediate area of this shop. It needed an alignment, Jake brake switch, CB installed, and air conditioner work. Took it here as it was the closest shop. First thing they worked on, A/C, tell me the condenser is plugged with debris. They recommend replacement of the condenser. I decline and request they just vacuum it out/ blow it out. Next thing they work on, CB. I provided a brand new Galaxy that I tried installing myself before, but couldn't get it secured. I figured there was something missing in the factory location as it would just fall out, hanging from the power wires. I had been there three days already and had to get into the truck to get some clothes. I asked to get the clothes and they told me the truck was sitting in the parking lot behind the shop. I get in to get the clothes, and I rubbed the mic that was hanging down, and the CB fell out, just like it did when I couldn't get it right. The mechanic had come out to get the truck for the alignment. I asked if he was done with the CB. He said he was done with it. I mentioned that it just fell out when i rubbed it. He told me it needed a rubber mat. I went in and told the receptionist that I didn't feel I should have to pay for that shoddy work. She said she'd take care of it. I went back into the waiting room, and at the end of the day, I hear her tell the manager about my concern. I heard him tell her to give me a discount and move the discounted charge to another repair I was having. Then, they get to the alignment. It took days. They tell me the alignment was hard for them, but it was done and aligned. She gave me the bill. Over $5,000. I read over the bill and signed, just to get out of there. Then she gives me my copy of the bill. I notice that it's different than what I signed. I start reading it, she tells me, "You dont have to read it. It's the same as what you signed." After 8 days at this shop, I take the truck for a 400-mile trip. The truck drove worse than when I brought it into the shop. It was all over the road, very dangerous. After the nightmare experience at this shop, I refused to take it back. I took it to another shop for another alignment. The front axel was bent. They fixed it perfectly. Why didn't an International dealer find the bent axel? Why did they let something as simple as a CB get returned with it falling out of the factory location? The A/C worked perfectly after blowing it out, and they wanted to charge $5,000 just to replace the condenser. This is the worst shop I've ever been to. I hope you have a better experience than I did.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Rush Trucking in Salt Lake City, Utah. When I picked up my truck, I immediately noticed a huge crack on the front windshield that was not there before. I have before and after pictures proving that the damage happened while the truck was in their possession. To make matters worse, they had taken pictures of the truck when they first received it, and their own photos don’t show any crack either clear evidence that the damage was done while it was under their care. Yet, they refused to take responsibility for it.This is completely unacceptable. A company dealing with expensive equipment like trucks should have integrity and own up to their mistakes. Instead, they are trying to shift the blame and leave customers stuck with expensive repairs for damage they clearly caused.I would strongly advise anyone looking for truck services to avoid Rush Trucking unless you want to risk having your vehicle damaged with no accountability. Unprofessional, dishonest, and completely unreliable. We are ALL living in uncertain times and some are experiencing financial tightness. So if you make a mistake at your job, have some integrity and own up to it. You will feel better about yourself for exhibiting some self respect.

Good for emergencies or last minute needs, had 1 bad experience when i took one of my trucks for oil change and they forgot to put the oil cap back on. Had to stop the truck and wait for them to go and fixed and checked nothing happened, lost a lot of time. Overall good place

Just wanted to share my experience working with the Service Department and Body Shop at Rush SLC - as the regional maintenance manager overseeing the SLC area I work with the team frequently. Almost every encounter I have with them goes smoothly from beginning to end, and when there are bumps in the road the team is quick to rectify any issues on their end. Justin Holt in the Body Shop is great at not only identifying issues with our units but also working within the parameters that my company sets forth. He is always a pleasure to work with and I will continue to utilize them as my main Body Shop in the area.

I am lucky enough to deal with Rush on a daily basis. I have always appreciated there dedication to getting these units fixed and back up and running in the fleet. Justin Holt is the estimator for Rush that i deal with on a daily. He is very fair and quick to work with you to make sure the repairs you are wanting is what is being done. Would for sure recommend Rush and Justin both.

Our company bought 2 international lonestars from them which will never happen again. We took 1 of these trucks in to have the abs module replaced. I told them we tried putting a module just to see if the problem would go away which it did but the modules have to be programmed with the VIN number of the truck so we took out the good one and put in the original module that needed replaced. Rush service center went ahead diagnosing the problem on their own, racking up 5 hours in labor and asking me for more labor to diagnose. I told them to replace the module so they finally gave me a quote of $11,000 dollars to fix this truck. The module they quoted me on was a navistar part number meaning they were most likely quoting me on an email, not an abs module. The Abs module was a bendix part, not navistar. They insisted they were right so I declined repairs, had MCK Diesel order a module directly from Bendix pre programmed. MCK Diesel replaced the module and truck is working great now. To top it off the price all said and done was under $4000 for parts and labor. Another problem was Rush gave us our truck back with the dash still hanging down, the data link connector hanging out of the dash and our electronic log was still unplugged. This has happened more than once when I pick up our trucks from Rush Truck Center. Also the radio did work anymore even tho they replaced the radio 6 months ago. Come to find out sone wires had been cut and sliced behind the radio( this wasn't why the radio quit working) but the mechanic at Rush unplugged some fuses in the fuse panel which one of them was the power source for the radio. Since it has wires spliced International wouldn't even try to diagnose this truck. They just insisted it had to be put back to how it came off the factory assembly line. I had MCK Diesel look at it, he found the fuse was unplugged, plugged it back in and problem solved. Radio works great now. If you took the time to read my review I strongly suggest you stay away from Rush Truck Center with your service needs. They charged us $1100 dollars for the engine air filters to be replaced, I have Seagull Diesel do ours for less than $800. Rush will screw you over and it's a good way to go out of business if you are a owner operator. I personally have our favorite mechanics that I fully trust and they are a fraction of the labor rate that Rush is charging. Please please please be careful trusting shops like this with your hard earned money. Also another item I found interesting after all this was that Rush Truck Center has one of the highest labor rates in Salt Lake City, UT but they start they mechanics out at one of the lowest paying mechanic jobs in our area. Just pay attention to what you do with your business equipment and money, you could be getting burned and not even know it. Thanks.

Took our dump truck in to get fixed. They would tell us the problem was fixed and the truck would be back in their shop within days with the same problem. We spent over $18,000 and the problem is still not fixed. Still the exact same problem over and over each time and the check engine light would come back on with a day or less. Wistling sound in the engine and no get up and go. Each time we have been charged a $250 diagnostic fee FOR THE SAME PROBLEM! It has been in at least 5 times and 4 months out of service! It was my stupid fault for bringing it back several times. The manager will not return my calls on this problem and I have left several requests for a call back. They just play a guessing game with your money and don't fix the problem. We lost over $18,000 with them and 4 months worth of work because of a broke down truck. I have asked for a copy of everything that was done and called 3 times and they keep telling me they will send it and never do. Time for an in person vist.

This was my first time buying a medium duty commercial truck and to top it off, if everything went right I was going to be flying from NJ to Utah to pick up this vehicle. Well let me say, Drew is an amazing asset to the Rush team because he was consistently on the ball with any questions or info I had. Very personable and honest and super non pressure, which is what I most appreciate. Thank you Drew for your customer service and level of attention and most of all, thank you Rush truck Center for having him on your team! As my company grows, I will make sure to have these type of strategic partners.

We were very fortunate to bring our RV here for service. Rush even had a failing part for our leveling system rebuilt by a local shop so we didn’t have to wait for a part to be shipped. We had a great experience with Vicky, Cole, Ashley and Ryan. Wonderful caring service. We are so grateful 🥹 ❤️❤️

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a Rush Truck Center. Went in for an oil change and took 41/2 hrs. Didn’t do a complete job. Didn’t grease 5th wheel, left filter wrench in engine compartment, was told about an air leak near an air tank but couldn’t specify which one. Was told air conditioner didn’t work but it works great. Very inexperienced mechanic. Left greasy foot prints all over paint on steps. I’ve done business at several Rush Truck Center locations with no problems but this one is the worst I have been to. I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

Your mileage may vary depending on your situation but I had a wonderful experience with Rush truck center. Madison, Vicky and Courtney were friendly and helpful. The shop expedited the diagnostic process of my ABS braking system on my Tractor. The repair was done in an afternoon. There’s a nice Drivers lounge with comfy recliners, a TV and Free laundry.

Rush you're fired!!!! To all of you fleet mangers business owners and truck drivers...this place is the worst place! They just want your money! I took my truck in because it was stuck in limp mode. They quoted me 9k, and I don't think they really found out what the problem was until my 4th time back. Every time I took my truck back in because it kept going into limp mode they charged me more money. Wow, really great guys. Cheers, great job 👍 👏. Now I know where my money is going...in their pockets! Save your money, don't go here, find a shop that communicates. They send an email, never call, always recommend that you fix EVERYTHING$$$$$$ Plain and simple, these guys are crooks. Hands down the worst customer experience I have ever had! Worst communication I have ever had! They're in a "Rush" to go nowhere fast 😳 I picked up my truck today, paid them $400 and it's still broken. Thanks guys!

We were having issues with a DPF sensor. On a Saturday, no less! Called them and was told that they would try to work us in, showed up there, dropped trailer and was pulled into shop. An hour later, give or take, we were fixed and rolling! Super nice people to deal with! Definitely would call them again if we have issues while in that area!! All warranty issues handled!

We have had trucks in for repairs 2 times, both times I drove an hour to pick them up the issue wasn't completely fixed, had to wait an additional two hours for additional repairs. While I understand mechanical and electrical issues can be difficult to diagnose it should have been thoroughly tested. The service managers HOWEVER have been fair to us. they covered the additional repairs at no cost, even though it wasn't under warranty, to compensate for our time waiting. Zack was helpful and made sure they did what was FAIR. I can appreciate Zack knows it is important to set realistic expectations, and not "over promise and underperform" when discussing time frames. There was another guy in a red shirt that was very helpful but I didn't get his name. The only other complaint I have is the communication throughout. It would be nice if there was one point of contact instead of having to call different departments to get answers. for example, I had an electrical issue and a body repair needing to be done, I had to call and wait for both departments to answer which took a lot of time and re calling to get someone to pick up. it feels like there are multiple organizations operating under one roof. Overall I am pleased with service and we will come back.
