Sky at the local scrap center in Amarillo, Texas, was an absolute lifesaver for our movie production! We were on a tight timeline and needed unique materials to create a realistic homeless camp set. Sky not only guided us through the vast inventory with incredible expertise but also went above and beyond to help us find exactly what we needed.
Their knowledge of the materials, paired with their willingness to assist in creative ways, made the process seamless and stress-free. Sky’s friendly attitude and quick problem-solving skills turned what could have been a logistical nightmare into an enjoyable experience.
If you’re in Amarillo and need scrap materials or a helping hand with any project, Sky is the person to talk to! Their dedication and enthusiasm are unmatched. Thank you, Sky, for being such an invaluable part of our production journey!
Have been coming here most of my life. Scrap has a hard time keeping warehouse help but they have good prices. I own a metal/welding shop I take all my scrap metal here usually get in and out pretty quick other places the guys running the heavy equipment yell and scream at my employees. Office help is great keep up the good work y’all!
I'm not from Amarillo. My son who does business with SPC. directed me here. The employees there are extremely helpful. They had everything I needed for my metal works...and then some. Now about the office ppl. They are funny down right good Texans. I'll be back soon in town for my next project supplies...thank you SPC.
Always rude and unprofessional not to mention extremely slow. Ask to buy some aluminum say we don't have any even though I can clearly see tons of it in the yard literally tons... So after 2 years this bottom of the heap owner reply was rude and slow just like i stated in my review. They say they are recycler but in 25 years I've never seen more than one train car of metal leave the yard. That's called hoarding not a recycling in the middle of a major city raises concerns of just how toxic the scrap yard really is. The reply seem awful arrogant for someone who could loss the whole business in one phone call to the EPA or OSHA but whatever carry on with you're junk.
My husband had an issue this morning after going there for a while a guy told him stuff yelled at him told him to leave and took his shirt off I call the office the lady that answered laughed and was rude also told me do we need to go to the principals office
