Was almost run off the road by the owner of the company in his truck. No apology, just almost crushed by a huge flat bed truck. Car had to slam on the breaks to a halt immediately. Assuming they don’t pay attention to who drives nor do they care!
My husband and I broke down last night and they showed up to rescue us off the side of the Highway. They were super nice and professional. I would highly recommend them if you needed a tow truck.
Great auto repair shop. Helped us out when our truck broke down on I-75 while pulling our 5th wheel. Honest and fair pricing. Friendly staff. Thanks to Robert and the rest of the staff, we are back on the road.
I would like to warn everyone against this place. Hardly a business. The shop is unkept and in shambles as are the employees and customer services. Awful. I was treated with almost a sort of mild abuse. They threw down on my car then ignored me .I simply needed them to fix the multi-switch. Not only did they charge me $750 kept my car for 5 months with no call back. They literally vandalized my car. Completely disassembled my steering column and dash and left it in the floorboard. Complete and total disgrace of combustion mechanic work. I'm currently contacting a lawyer.
My boyfriend’s vehicle had a bad day and he gave Friendly City Auto Care a call. Dillon and Steven arrived and got it towed in safe and sound. When a vehicle breaks down it’s not a good thing but the folks at Friendly City Auto Care were kind and helpful.
Needed a tow of my tractor when I killed my differential. Great service, came out right away after his current run. Nice new state of the other equipment with a 2025 Pete. Very reasonable on the rate!
Called to schedule a repair for my hearing impaired dad on a Thursday. Lady on phone was not very friendly but I was giving her a chance (had to be on hold for about five minutes so just thought she could be having a bad day) when I finally got to tell her the issue that needed to be repaired, she got my name annd number so she could look up when they could get vehicle in for the starter repair needed.it has been 5 days and NO phone call. Found someone else who was at least responsive
I was recently on vacation from FL, visiting family in Decatur, when my car battery completely died. Long story short, my key fob was missing the key inside to physically unlock the doors. So, I was in need of unlock service and a jump. I called AAA and Friendly City Auto Care was sent out!
He showed up, got to work breaking in and jumped it within 30 minutes. Put it on the charger and warned me not to turn it off or it could happen again. I drove the car straight to Mazda in Cleveland and got the battery replaced under warranty (crank failure I guess, battery was 15 days old, haha).
Anyway, both the tech that came out and the lady on dispatch were so kind and patient with me! Friendly City Auto Care really took care of me and I would 100% call them if I needed help again! Thank you!!
This place is always so reliable and does great honest work at a reasonable price. We drive our vehicles from chattanooga for friendly city to work on them.
They take way to long. The 2 jobs took 30 days to complete. On top of that I had another part broken inside my car. Don't go their you'll wished did not. They will leave your car full of red clay dirt.
Friendly did everything right and beyond. The customer service to their actual service was excellent. Very professional, accurate and devoted to there work. I picked up my car and it was better than when I picked her up from the dealer. They even cleaned my car! 15/10!!
I wouldn't let this place work on my bicycle!!! They changed my oil without asking me and left it a quart and a half low. After almost three weeks of calling and asking about my truck I got sick of them not calling me back and ignoring me I had them haul my truck back to my house they charged me $380.00 dollars basically for an oil change and tows.
Absolutely the worst I reluctantly give 1 star. Left on side of road for 5 hours then had to get a ride. AAA says they are the only shop covering a very large area. Don't call them through AAA, look up other local shops, their
milage charge is way more reasonable.
I believe the driver of the long flatbed truck was named Lou. He is absolutely very professional and knowledgeable. The receptionist was Also friendly and to the point. My F350 had issues. They got my truck and myself and took me home. Awesome service, fast and friendly, most importantly, they are very safe and hook to the frame, not the front end of the truck, for pulling it onto the trailer. I highly recommend this towing service. I had them sent through Triple A. Lou also put my truck right where I needed it to work on at the house and out of the driveway. I give them 5 stars
When I called AAA from the time we moved to TN in 2006, Friendly City would respond. Were quick, professional and helpful. This year I have had to call AAA twice and both times Friendly City refused and call and I never did get help from AAA. They said there was no one to send. Once I had to find a local towing company to help and once a kind gentleman saw me sitting for hours and finally came back to help me. I don't know what happened but Friendly City is no longer friendly.
Falsely advertising that they are a preferred AAA provider. They refused to answer a AAA service call at 9:39pm, and when I called at 1:50am I was told that they could not send anyone out until 9am. The D350 truck was sitting at one of the busiest intersections in Athens, unable to start it, or push it out of the way. Horrible business etiquette! Should NOT be advertising 24 hour towing, or being a preferred provider for AAA when obviously they are not either one!
Be careful if you see this truck on the road. He ran a red light and almost hit me. Extremely scary and when I called to report the truck the woman on the phone did not apologize. She simply argued that this truck does not belong to them.
Had some tough luck by locking my keys in the Truck in Etowah, TN. Friendly city sent a Truck 25 mins away to us! Super nice friendly service! Friendly City Auto Care got me out of a tight spot!! Thank you!!!
These guys offer Vehicle lockout services 24/7 and it has more than once been a lifesaver.

Absolutely not!!! This company is one of the most dishonest and unprofessional car dealerships I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. If I were you I'd find just about anywhere else to purchase a car from. They sold my son a car. They lied about the car fax. Then they said they were going to fix the car for free only to turn around and ask him for $1,200 for the repairs. They sell very poor quality vehicles and lie to trusting people through the entire process. Please spare yourself the heartache and purchase elsewhere.
Guy were called to come for a flat repair..... it took forever.... some guys stopped n helped because they still havent showed till he started help then the AAA GUY WAS A RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL.. WHEN THEY OTHER GENTLEMAN HELPED BECAUSE WE R ELDERLY N IS WAS 80 PLUS OUT
I can tell you that my experience with this company has always been stellar !

The situation was completely resolved professionally and Gary was such a clear reflection of kindness and efficiency . Don't bother calling any other service this company is definitely a five star service from top to bottom.

Heros in a wrecker truck !
While passing through I had a water pump go out on my truck while towing a camper. These folks came to the rescue and got me back on the road the same day. I was amazed at how awesome they were and they didn't charge and arm and a leg. They very well could have taken advantage of me since I was roughly 400 miles from home and totally stuck. If I were a local, they'd get all of my business.
I'm amazed that there are still genuine hard-working people who care about the general public! Friendly City was right there when we needed them most. We were miles away from MS. My mother's car broke down two hours from my bereaved brothers home. It was very stressful night as we had a funeral the next day for my niece. The price for the tow and repair was fair. Friendly City took a load of stress off of us by sending us an angel to pick up the car. Gaylean the dispatcher (another angel) was very understanding and very professional. They repaired the vehicle the next day while we were at the funeral. They gave us time to grieve, and made a frustrating experience one my family can never repay. Thank God for Friendly City Auto Care!!
You never want to need the services of a towing company, but when I did need one, this company was right there for me! Fast, friendly, professional---what more could I ask for? They were fair and reasonable. I spoke directly with the owner. The driver he sent out was courteous, friendly, and knew exactly what he was doing. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you for helping me through what could have been a stressful roadside incident, but wasn't because of your efficient service.
