There are two Seatons, so don’t confuse this one with the other like I did. I went to seaton enterprises with copper wire and they would only give me $1.90 per pound. This confused me because I had called earlier and asked what the price was and had got told $4.04 per pound. I immediately realized I had went to the wrong place, loaded my copper wire back up and headed 2 minutes down the road to Seaton iron and metal. I showed up right as they were closing and they still helped me out. The weight at seaton iron and metal was 60 pounds heavier than at seaton enterprises and I got the $4.04 per pound like they told me on the phone. Don’t waste your time at seaton enterprises when season iron and metal is just 2 more minutes down the road.
Best place to take any kind of your scrap metal. Great prices on buying any and selling the scrap as well. Definitely continue to do metal business with them and will continue to share to family and friends. Thanks for being awesome Seaton Iron and Metal!
We recently did business with Seaton and dealt with David Seaton. He bought a container from us and while we were there we ended up getting some product from him and the customer service was superb. I highly recommend this company. There are so many companies out there that you can't trust and this is a good old boy Athens, Tennessee company! Very pleased !!
Office lady was very nice! It was quick easy and simple loved the weight scale where the customer could also see the weight too! The only downside was they need to have a bigger sign for where the cans is recycled also we had to ask where to put the cans when we got down there. We saw a sign that said cans and a big pile of them laying on the ground but thankfully there was a worker nearby we had to stick them into a metal bin for weighing and then they dealt with it from there! They paid $0.47/pound
Been here several times yes they pay in cash and give you paper signed receipt ?. Info. Your vehicle is weight on check up and then unloaded . Weight scale digital on top of office numbers. Pays $8 every 100 lbs. Steal metal aluminum steal .
I have been dealing with SEATONS for a number of years and they have always been very respectful and fair. They treat customers well and pay good prices for steel value. When purchasing from them they are also extremely fair on prices for materials overall I rate them 5 star! Highly recommend this company

Have known the Seaton’s for years. Though our names are pronounced the same there’s no relation. nine large radiators and six batteries they paid $40 won’t be going back besides the guy at the Scale house you can’t read his writing or understand what he saying I’ve taken this kind of stuff in before and did pretty good,But the last two trips didn’t pay for the time involved used to be a great place has totally gone to hell
Been buying new and used metal here for years for motorcycle, boat and gocart projects, never had a bad experience, always helpful people in bay and at counter, they do take cash or card, also if you haven't been here, you can get new steel or used, the used is a bit cheaper but may be a little dirty depending on storage location
