Not all of my experiences with Christian Brothers have been bad but the most recent one ensured me and my husband will never be taking our cars back. After spending hundreds in diagnostic fees (they charge $160 anytime they need to diagnose anything new on your car, and will charge you multiple times for the same visit), they replaced the electric module in my Prius which resolved the issues I was having with the passenger airbag remaining off even if someone was sitting in the seat. They also replaced 2 of my tire pressure sensors and some other minor maintenance, so the bill was quite high but everything seemed to be fine. However, right after we drove the car home, the engine misfired. We took it back and ultimately had to pay another $160 for them to try and find the problem. I understand things can happen out of their control and they need to be compensated for their time but I was disappointed in being forced to pay so much in diagnostic fees after we had already paid multiple for the first visit. Unfortunately auto shops are incentivized to create more problems and I just do not trust that there was no foul play at this one when my engine misfired the day after getting my car back.

We wanted to warn everybody about Christian brothers auto next to Aldi. They installed a water pump in our daughter’s car in February of this year, a bolt broke and it sucked into the motor and completely ruined the motor. They have a warranty provided on the receipt. We paid $700 for the water pump alone. We had it towed to them on 7/31 and they told us that it was under warranty. Now that they have done the work they are claiming that it is not under warranty and want approximately $4k for a new motor (the car isn’t even worth that). If they had said it wasn’t under warranty we never would have had the work done. They said if we don’t pay in 2 weeks he will put a lien on the car. DO NOT take your vehicle there or do business with them, they never tried to work with us, just tried to weasel out of the warranty.

I had a great experience throughout the entire process. After this last work was done on my vehicle, I will be switching from AAA to CBA. I highly recommend them!

Christian Brothers took care of the issue in 1 day and everything went smoothly. Would definitely return if I needed another repair done for my vehicle. Very professional outfit.

I have been coming to Christian Brothers for years, but unfortunately I won't be returning. After having maintenance work done and oil change, the car stopped in the middle of the road and the check engine light turned on. I took it to a different shop and was told that the air filter was put in wrong and all that debris damaged the sensor. I had to spend more money to get that fixed.

CB did an original repair of my rear axle/differential back in April. There was a bearing failure that occurred a couple weeks ago and they jumped on it and took care of it. Great group!

I am updating my review after having spoken with the manager and worked with him to go over my concerns. I believe that the credit that was given to my account and the service that was provided with my new visit proved that "stuff" happens and any time a business is willing to work with you about your concerns deserves another chance and that is what we did and I am now a customer again. I am going to wait for a few more hopefully good visits like today to go to 5 stars. Thanks for working with me and understanding my concerns/ situation. After carefully considering I decided to leave a fair review. I have went here several times over the past year and spent several thousands of dollars having mostly maintenance items done on my two Subarus here. This past experience was not a good one. I took my wife's 2018 legacy in to have oil change and spark plugs change. Total price was little more that 1000 dollars. I received call as usual that it was ready. When I got there to pick it up i get in the car that they have there running waiting on me. All good until i look and the oil light is on!!!! I go in they come out the mechanic that was assigned to car brings oil over and starts putting oil in. So they take it back in to supposedly make sure everything is ok. This is a simple oil change so I start to worry about the rest of the work they did. They assure me everything is all good. Next day..a loud banging sound coming from one of the wheel wells...take it back again..they are vague on issue and "fix" whatever they left loose when working on car the day before. So now I am really concerned cause we were heading out for vacation the next day. They assure me everything is good and basically shrug shoulders and offer nothing for having spent 1000 dollars and having to basically bring car back twice in 2 days. Next day leaving for vacation and the tire light comes on. I Check tire pressure all is good but light stays on. We have to leave cause of vacation. Tire light stays on throughout the vacation but pressure is fine. Get back and find out the TPMS sensors need replaced. 350 dollars I am convinced that the banging of whatever they didn't secure that that day broke the tpms monitor but I didn't feel like trying to convince them of that. It would have to be a very big coincidence that after that banging and them supposedly fixing it that the TPMS monitor breaks too. Anyways I assumed they would just shrug their shoulders and say it wasn't them. I don't see me spending anymore of my money here as I believe the work that was done that day was very sloppy i mean oil change and having me come and see the oil light on. That is an indication of very rushed and sloppy work.

Will definitely be bringing my car back to Christian Brothers to be serviced. Dylan was super friendly and assured me that they would work to get my car done asap. Christian Brothers was very professional and knowledgeable. They did what they said they were going to do and the price was reasonable. Having a courtesy driver to take you back home or to work is a plus!

I can't tell you enough how awesome Curtis is. This man saved me thousands of dollars because he is an honest business man. I didn't spend any money with them and they still helped me and my son in SO many ways. I was completely blown away by their willingness to help. Very refreshing experience!!! I highly recommend them.

This was my first time using Christian Brothers. I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. My car was taken into the service bay on time. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. My service was completed in a timely fashion while I waited. They also offer a courtesy ride if needed though. The service advisor seemed very knowledgeable and their waiting area was very comfortable. I will definitely be returning for my future service needs. I totally recommend them for your auto service. 9/2025 Update: Took my car in for 60k maintenance and oil change. Scheduled an appointment and arrived at 7:00 am. Had 3 major maintenance items completed along with oil and the work was completed by 10:00 am. Curt checked me in right away and had me on way in less than 10 minutes. Hank provided me a ride home. Both were very help and professional. I recommend Christian Brothers for your auto service needs. They will take care of you and your vehicle.

I took my car for a concern I had regarding 3 engine codes I got with my scanner plus 2 others but not related to the engine. Right after inspection they called me to tell that before continuing with my concerns I should first take care of a leak found in one of my injectors related at some point with my concern to the engine. That is not the point, the issue is that they were trying to trick me by saying that to be able to complete the whole job they should first replace the 4 injectors because one wouldn't be possible and on top of that at a price out the frame when I saw the invoice. I did my research and yes it is possible to remove each injector individually without damaging the rest as they stated through the phone. Secondly they didn't want to continue working with my concerns as mentioned before by declining the pre-invoice sent for that job. Also they wrote in the report the denial of my concerns when I presented true evidence with video recording and record of computer scan. It is the costumer who drives a vehicle on daily basis, not you, so pay more attention to that even if anything missed on a first driving test. I can not denie they might have good mechanics on staff and I don't question it but be more careful when a costumer brings a car with something that for you might not be important but it is indeed, even more with shown evidence.

Had a great experience at Christian Brothers! My car A/C went out the week we were supposed to be induced with our first baby. Shaun was on top of ordering us the parts we needed and squeezing us in to make sure everything was fixed before baby. They had incredible communication and we were so thankful that they worked with us given our situation. Thank you Shaun and Christian Brothers!

First time bringing my car here and I'm glad I did! Curtis worked with me the whole way to ensure I received a proper service on my vehicle. We encountered a small hiccup on the way due to miscommunication but they were happy to work with me and resolve our small issue. 5 stars!!! Unlike other dealerships in the metropolitan area they actually care and won't upsell you on any services you need for your car. I felt comfortable bringing my car here and I will continue to be a repeat customer going forward! They also offer a military discount which is also nice.

Always bring your car to Christian Brothers Tega Cay. I have been servicing my 2011 Toyota Camry here for many years. Today coming back from the beach I hit a curb and tore up the underpinning under the car and came in nearly in tears. I was so willing to wait, make an appointment and pay to get help. I thought I totally damaged something. The gentleman, Shawn Wyne, was my service advisor and he pulled my car in immediately and had the service dept secure the underpinning back in. It took less than 15 minutes and Christian Brother Tega Cay did not charge me even after wanting to pay them for the kind gesture provided to me. I offered to buy breakfast. Again, a kind smile. And nothing owed. They were glad to help me. Again, all the reason I bring my car to this reputable automotive repair place. Dina Davis will forever be grateful for the help they showed me today. I would never take my car any where else. My car has 226,000 miles and still running strong/ because Christian Brothers Tega Cay has kept me serviced and safe on the highway. They are fairly priced and it truly is a Christian Family and a CHRIST CENTERED PLACE THAT YOU CAN HAVE COMPLETE CONFIDENCE IN KNOWING THEY STAND BY THEIR WORK AND HAVE ALWAYS SHOWN INTEGRITY IN ALL THEY STRIVE TO DO!

First time bringing my new 20 year old Jaguar in for a routine service. The staff was helpful and friendly, they didn’t try to up charge services and were very complimentary about the condition of the vehicle. Their automated system to approve service repairs and notifications is first in class. I live nearly 30 minutes from the shop but will continue to be a loyal customer because of this first interaction.

Absolutely fantastic, friendly, and fast service. These guys are real professionals and take time to explain everything. They recommend services but are never pushy! Communicating through txting is so easy and convenient. You can either approve or decline via a link as well. Utilizing photos of your car so that you know exactly what needs repairing is also a great idea so that you know you’re never getting ripped off. They offer fair pricing much cheaper than the dealership. I won’t take my car anywhere else. Thanks CBA you’ve made a customer for life!

I went there today to get a bulb replaced for my headlight and was quoted $180.00. The guy behind the counter stated that it was super labor intensive and they would have to remove the entire headlight to change the bulb. I decided to go to my dealership and the cost was $45 to change the bulb. I also watched a you tube video and it's not super labor intensive! If I had the bulb I would've done it myself. This is the second time in a few months that I've been quoted far above my dealership. So much for keeping business in town!

This was my second visit and unfortunately learned that when Ford did some repairs on my engine they didn't inspect the entire thing. My car is over 12 years old but only has 90K miles so trying to drive as long as I can. I paid over $1,500 for service at Ford only to find they left parts off. Rather than start over again gave Ford a second chance but never told me if they were in the wrong, told me I needed an additional diagnostic and while on the phone received a text my car was heading back to me. Had to pay around the same thing this visit and fingers crossed this has resolved the issue. Great customer service and appreciate they offer transportation.

I was a first time customer with Christian Brothers and had to write this as soon as I left because I am over the moon with how wonderful my experience was! As a young woman it’s hard to find a mechanic where you don’t get upsold on things you don’t need for no reason. Here, all the employees were incredibly nice, friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond. I needed to be out by 4:30 at the latest and they were super efficient, understanding, and had me out of the parking lot by 4:23! They also provide you a comprehensive list of elective maintenance you can opt into or out of. If you opt out but want to have it done next time, they save it for you with a price quote. No high pressure sales tactics and very fair prices!!! Consider me a return customer! And just for bonus points… I didn’t even ask them to refill my wiper fluid that was low and they did it for no extra cost. I just noticed when I got in that the “Low Wiper Fluid” warning had turned off. Great music selections while in the waiting area too!!!

We have gone 3 times with car issues to Christian Brothers. We were very satisfied each time. First visit was to confirm major repairs reported by another place. Out of the 4 repairs we were told had to be done, we only needed 1. Second visit excellent service. Third visit ,suspension, they checked it out and confirmed there were no mechanical issues. The rep Curtis explained in detail the reason for the slightly rougher ride, including age, tires, etc. He also checked with VW manuals to check suggestions. No charge. We will continue to go here based mostly on trust and honesty.

Took my car in for a leaking sunroof. They identified the issue and also evaluated an oil leak. I needed some fairly significant work. They were incredibly reasonable from a cost perspective based on my google searches. They were able to complete everything in one day knowing I am traveling. And they provided transportation to/from my home. I will only use Christian Brothers from now on. Highly recommend.

These guys are truly a great crew they all are professional and have the knowledge to diagnose and figure out what’s going on with your vehicle. I’ve brought my Suburban here when I first bought it so that they can go through it with a fine-tooth comb and they confirmed everything that I found plus found some other issues that needed to be repaired or replaced before I was able to safely drive it. I’ve brought my vehicle back anytime it needs work done to it. I have not had ANY issues with any of the work that they’ve done on my truck. Bryan and the crew are real stand up genuinely honest guys and tell you how it is and do all they can to get the job done for you. I would highly recommend this shop.

My 1st time here. They told me my exact issues and recommendations and explained why. They listened to my concerns and found a recall on my car that may fix my issue. I told them I needed an alignment - they tested it to make sure before doing it. Highly recommend this place!! Plus the prices were very reasonable, people were GREAT... And I posted a picture of the waiting room because no one has a waiting room this nice!!
