Always a great experience, In and out, clean and organized!

Please fix your hours. You state you’re open until 7 but the hours posted on the gate are 6.

Painless experience, Staff was helpful to boot. Kinda like dropping someone off at the airport, circular setup with different recycling spots. Will visit again.

Just had a confrontation with a man who appeared to be in charge of operations at this International Drive Recycling facility. This confrontation nearly evolved into a physical altercation when he started screaming at me to leave the facility stating that I had already visited the site several hours before. This individual, a white male in his 50’s swinging his key chain like he owned the place told me “you only get to visit the site once a day and to get out”. There is no signage or information on this recycling site that states local residents are restricted to one visit per day. When I challenged him about this restriction he became belligerent and threatening. I have never encountered a more obnoxious individual in any visit to any Horry County service facility. I plan to submit a formal complaint tomorrow at the main office facility on RT90 in Conway. This kind threatening behavior must not be permitted to continue. This man has absolutely no business dealing with the public.

Employee was really rude and aggressive. I arrived 20 minutes before closing to throw away some cardboards and the employee told me to get the hell out of there and not to come that late, I explained there is 20 more minutes and if i came all the way i'm getting rid of the trash and he kept following me around and kept looking inside my vehicle. I'm really scared to go there again

Always rude and unfriendly. I dread that I have to come here or drive an additional 50 minutes round trip to go somewhere else.

Very organized, very clean and efficient & easy to use and travel through.

It's clean and organized. Need to invest in bigger bins. Just wondering how your bins are Full when you've just opened.

To who it may concern: after reading the reviews I'm very surprised that bad reviews are being written about the staff who work there. Ok my view is I have never seen a such clean place and well organized and helpful staff, got to give them some credit yes it's not the best job in world but someone has to do it. I think Cindy is a great person I have no problem with her and entire staff.I feel the entire staff should receive a letter of recognition. God bless them all !

I’ve been to recycling/trash centers in a few states. I have to say the Myrtle Beach centers are some of the most organized and cleanest I’ve ever been to. More importantly they’re staffed by some of the nicest, most helpful people. Today, one of the staff members, Cindy, insisted on helping me. By the time I got my step ladder out to chuck bags of dirt over the side of the dumpster, she had it all tossed into the container without a step ladder. . Afterwards we laughed and I told her she made me plan to get back to the gym based on her ability to lift and toss the dirt. I went to the Carolina Forest Center at 800 International Dr.

The worst. Constantly accused of "running a business" even though I'm not. Businesses are not the only people who own utility trailers or dump trash...this is the closest dump to my house but I go out of my way to go to any other dump in Horry County because I've never had an issue at any other one here. All the other employees have been nothing but friendly and helpful. The only employee who ever gave me any trouble was a lady with short ish blonde hair with a visor and her hall monitor clipboard.

This location has an extremely rude Lady. I believe her name is Cindy. She’s overbearing and never pleasant. In all my visits to this center I don’t think I’ve seen her smile once. If you don’t like your job, than quit! The county needs to fire this lady.

They specifically like to breach your privacy and ask what's in your trash do not go to this location they're rude and it's unclean

I love going there. The staff is so kind and courteous. These ppl work hard. More respect should be shown to them if you ask me. They are there to assist not to dump your trash on so they can dispose of it. That's your job. It's a free service. It's the least you could do. If your not sure of anything read the signs that's what they are put up for.

Convenient is at least being open every day. We're already doing the county a favor by delivering recyclables. I'm tired of encountering a closed gate because I didn't sit in the parking lot at work with a chart, calendar, ouija board, and compass to decipher which center is open on my way home, and ending up driving around for four days with a carfull of recycling. I'm an avid recycler and I'm *this close* to dumping everything in my GFL trash bin. Now that is convenient.

Clean and decent. Sometimes they can seem a little picky but you have to remember They have hundreds and hundreds of people coming through. After that I just wish they took chemicals

The facility closes at 7pm, we came at 6:55 and the guy already turned us away. The minute we put trash in was 6:58 and he was yelling at my husband and then sweared. We got out from that gate at exact 7:00 and the guy told us we are gonna get fined. Although there were cars behind still. So we are paying taxes to be treated like this? Absolutely horrible service.

Dropped off some boxes. Long line of people at the box compacter. The guy working there was making people break down their empty boxes. Kind of rediculios making people stand around 15 minutes to drop of recycling and the boxes are going in a trash compacter. Some people were holding stacks of boxes, heavy. I wont be going here again. Who came up with breaking down a box for a trash compacter? lol

This is nearby, easy to get in and out. Clean and safe. Each dumpster is clearly labeled for what should go in it. Most of the staff are very helpful. I wasn’t sure where to put styrofoam from packaging and was told it went into kitchen waste bin and the man carried it over for me. Clean, safe, convenient, free and helpful staff …what more can you ask for.

Honestly horrible place every single person that works there are rude and horrible at their job every time I come here they say there is something wrong, I don’t know if it’s because I’m a person of color but they act very racist when I go there, specially from the white lady that stays in the middle and the white man with a mustache, if I was the owner of this place I would simply fire everyone and get a new staff, this is from many personal experiences but today was the last straw, white lady acting super rude with a very ignorant tone for no reason saying “i had to many boxes”. So I just warn you if you are a person of color, immigrant, etc don’t go here because you will be discriminated. Unfortunately this is the nearest place around Carolina forest but I prefer wasting more gas and time than going here again

I've been here a few times & most of the people are helpful & polite. My last experience here was awful. I through a SMALL 12"×12" cardboard box in the dumpster & upon this I heard, "Hey, you can't put cardboard in here. This is a recycling center". Which I kindly replied, "It's full of saw dust". She made me jump in the dumpster, retrieve it, dump the saw dust & take the SMALL box to cardboard area. Now EVERY time I've been here, I've had ALL cardboard broken down & I don't waste time. I then proceeded to back up to the Cardboard dumpster, where I was approached by another old bag who yelled, "YOU CANT PARK THERE, YOU HAVE TO PARK HERE". Luckily for them they were both females & I was as kind as possible. I completely understand rules & regulations everyone has to follow, but they need to settle down. It's not a prison camp! (I think). Other than that, it's a great place & well maintained.

Great place to take your stuff. Staff are very helpful and polite. It would be great if people were nicer and broke down their boxes and stuff. Many times I have seen people get frustrated and leave boxes on side of machine.

Old man with the mustache is hands down the rudest person I’ve ever dealt with. Following the holidays, everyone has additional garbage and he did not make that process smoother or nice at all. If you don’t like your job, find a new one and be less miserable

The hillbilly running the place was very rude, nasty, filthy and disrespectful to everyone I saw he came into contact with, especially the elderly. He was acting as if the property was his and he could act anyway he wanted to everyone he came into contact with. There was litter all over the area and around each bin, i was afraid I'd get a flat tire driving in there. I would not recommend this location.

Very well organized, clean and the personal seems to be trying to do the things right, the time I went there were at least 2 employees in the containers area and it was easy to reach out to them for questions. You need to have your recycling material pre-sorted by container type (see the pictures), I went with all the stuff mixed in one big bag and it can not be disposed that way. I uploaded pictures of each container so you can see all the different things they take at this recycling center. Overall its pretty good, easy access.

Absolutely the most rude and entitled personnel I've ever come across. Completely degrading and inconsiderate to my wife, who also happened to have our infant and toddler in tow. All she tried to do was throw a bag of yard waste away, and instead of getting assistance, was harassed by a male employee for not pre-sorting. Let alone, she isn't tall enough to lift the heavy bag to dump it into the dumpsters, especially without getting burned on the scorching metal. I'm sure he'd appreciate someone treating his wife, sister, or mother the same way when he's not around.

Blonde manager lady is one of the rudest people I've ever met. Only good thing about this place is convenience. Avoid the staff at all cost and you should be ok.
