Tanners Falls Walking Trail in
Honesdale (PA)

A beautiful, picture-perfect waterfall and an adjoining short, but swampy walking trail. Waterfall view requires some moderate scrambling skill for a short drop down to the stream bed. NOT for the physically challenged.

Short trail but some areas are moderately difficult.

Parked in lot across road and walked the half mile up the main road to the bridge closure. You can drive up and park here instead of walking. The path to falls is narrow and steep and provides a nice view of the falls. You can walk further down towards another section of the river. It is unfortunate that people have sprayed graffiti on the rocks. We stopped in during hunting season so please be respectful and wear orange if you have it. Thank you.
