They refused to exchange a defective over 200.00 dollars Diehard Gold battery that is not even a year old. Horrible Customer Service. They lost my business.
The battery my husband bought for his motorcycle was still under warranty. He went to the store, and they told him motorcycle batteries are not warranted. We’ll be reaching out to corporate on this.
Something as simple as wiper blades seems may turn into a dilemma when they are replaced. The gentleman did the research, offered, then removed and installed all three for me. Thanks.
I asked if I could receive a call when my brake pads come in . The guy said sure and that they will arrive at 3oclock today . So 5 olock came and no call . I tried calling several times and was put on hold . After 5 minutes I hung up cause I know I would get no service. So I decided to drive from NY to pick them up . The brake pads did not come in and I got no call . You guys need to be more professional and have better customer service. Don’t say 3pm today when it’s tomorrow. And don’t tell me your to busy to answer the phone when I already paid for my parts .
1 star because I came in with my bad oxygen sensor, needing to order a new one. I had previously ordered 2 new ones from AutoZone and they were both wrong for the upstream. So, I came in and showed the associate the exact sensor I needed. They then ordered me the wrong one. I ended up ordering my oxygen sensor from Amazon.

Them sell you on more than you actually need. When I asked to see where it says no returns I was told to go look by the door. When I saw nothing the cashier was gone. Then I asked someone to show me and they said they haven’t put up the new sign yet. What a joke, staff clearly don’t care about their customers and are completely fine with just making stuff up to get you out the door.
Have been here 4 times now and they have yet to get me the parts needed. Each time I was told either "sorry, it was discontinued and we can't get it anymore" or "dealer only item". I was able to get the parts at another local store every time. I won't be visiting this store again.
They usually have everything we need, if not, they will order it for you and it's there the next day for you to pick up. The workers are knowledgeable and friendly. Store is clean.
Well between getting bad new parts like water pumps power steering pump wheel cylinders caliper and pullies in the past, I feel a little on edge when getting parts . They are happy to replace the parts that are defective, however it doesn't cure the time lost from charges by the shop. I would try another place first as I have found the parts cheaper at other locations..with higher part satisfaction rate. This still doesn't deter me from going here..it's just hit and miss with bad parts..which is annoying.
Once again the guys were extremely helpful to me. Needed to find a way to rig my exhaust for a couple of weeks till I get some money to replace the part and they hooked me right up!!! Never have had an issue with them, they are always ready to listen to what you're trying to achieve...thanks guys!!
Been here a few times now. Excellent customer service, a friendly environment, and they were very helpful with helping me find out what was wrong with my suv and telling me what i needed to fix it. It was just low on trans fluid.
They refuse to give me my core charge they gave me the wrong alterntor for a bigger 3.5L. I have a 2.5. I exchanged for the right one. And had to pay 16 more dollars for the one for a lesser cylinder alternator. I brought back the used alternator and still refuse to return my money.
I have been dealing with your employee Gary for years at the Hamlin location and when he went to honsdale I followed him there even though the Hamlin location is closer and more convenient Gary is a credit to your company wish there were more in this field like him very knowledgeable always goes above and beyond to assist his customers don't let him go!!
Skylar is very helpful. They usually have what your looking for. They should have kept the loaner tool agreement but not all Advance Auto have the same specials.
Friendly staff that will work with you on your issues. One of the few places around that seem to hire folks with garage experience so you get a little more knowledgeable opinions if you are more of a do it yourself type of individual. The guys here have been great to work with over the years! Keep up the good work folks!
Most of the people working here have low knowledge about anything. Best to know exactly what you need before you get there. The employees do their best to ignore you in the store. They really dont want to be bothered, and chances are they ain't gonna be able to help you regardless.
Just another auto parts store just like any other one you need to look for what's on sale because some prices are very high. a lot to sale items that they did offer were out of stock.know your prices in know what you're looking for staff was friendly and helpful
Good experience! Asked staff for help in finding specific items. They were extremely helpful & located those specific items quickly. I don't mind shopping there for my future automotive needs. I give them a thumbs up!
Just walked in to buy some cleaner and rust proofing. 2 or 3 counter people were talking and no other customers present. Couldn't find what I wanted so I left. Not one person offered to help me. I guess they don't need to make a sale. Went to NAPA and made my purchases.
