Really thankful for the kind and experienced team at the wonderful garage. They quickly fixed a frozen windshield nozzle in the middle of a snowstorm and got us safely back on our way home.

We had an emissions issue with the car and they diagnosed very quickly so we could get back on the turnpike...no charge!

Everything about this shop is great. From talking to Jason at the desk, the quote he gave me...all the way through to the repair which was done on my vehicle, to which I found the final cost to be very fair compared to quote...(which let me tell you)...a 2017 Chevy Colorado 3.6 starter replacement is no joke. (The engineers who drew that up...no love for them lol). As for Bloughs Automotive, I will be returning here for all of my major repair needs 👍🏻👍🏻

We are so grateful for this place. We broke down on the side of the turnpike, and our tow truck driver recommended this place! We're so glad that he did because they took the best care of us. We were heading home from ohio back to Washington DC, when our car suddenly got Shakey. We were dropped off and the guy was so nice and told us it would be a couple hours just to diagnose our car. We were okay with it because we were just happy to get in somewhere. Instead, in 3 hours it was diagnosed, parts bought, and fixed in a few hours and they got us on our way. The whole time they made sure to keep us updated and he kept apologizing as if he did something wrong.. he was so nice! We're so very grateful as we had some mileage to go! We can't recommend and thank this place enough! Merry Christmas! Also, the Jarrett and Earnhardt stuff was really cool to see.. they had a Goodyear tire that was Earnhardt's... you know it's going to be a good, safe place if they like Dale Earnhardt! Jason in Somerset was wonderful. My clutch broke on a road trip from Indiana to Virginia at Thanksgiving. He was able to replace it with minimal distribution to my trip. He was very professional and couldn't have been nicer.

I had first used this garage a few years ago due to word of mouth and had them replace a timing belt for me. For as big of a job as that is for a garage to do, I felt they where 100% fair with the pricing for that job and the car ran great. I have returned (no heat on driver side) and once again, this business has once again shown me honesty and treated me like a friend! He took the time to explain the issue in full so that I could understand how it would have to be repaired and quoted me a total I am happy with. (I haven't even picked it up yet!) This is an excellent local business and I highly, highly recommend using them for any job, big or small. Support Local Businesses!

I had an oil leak and a three hour drive ahead of me. Blough’s was recommended on a local FB page. They were kind enough to work me in and alleviate my issue. Courteous and affordable. I highly recommend.

On a trip from Wisconsin to Philadelphia our check engine light came on. We looked up auto shops nearby and were directed to Blough Auto. We couldn’t have hoped for a better experience! The technician plugged in his tablet, obtained the engine code, and diagnosed the problem quickly - a faulty thermal valve. He advised us we should find a dealer that could replace this valve which is covered under warranty, but assured us this is not a major problem and shouldn’t affect our trip. He even printed out the details of the recall to assist us when we found a dealer to do the work. I would go out of my way to have these guys work on my car. Highly recommended!

We are so grateful to Blough’s Automotive! Our family was 2 hrs into an 8 hr drive, when we were unable to avoid an animal carcass on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Our Honda Civic did not quite clear the obstruction, and it ripped off part of the protective shield under the car, and broke the pipe between the catalytic converter and the muffler. It was clear we needed the car looked at before traveling any farther. Blough’s was the first service place that popped up in our Google search, and it came with great reviews! They had our car up on the lift within 5 minutes of our arriving, and did a thorough check. They showed us everything that did (and did not) happen to the car. We were assured that the car was still safe to drive and they offered to fix it in a timely manner, but we needed to get back on the road. We were back on the highway in less than 30 minutes. (They did everything with out ever asking why we needed to get back on the road so fast, so never knew we were traveling to funeral for a close family member and needed to reach our destination that night.) Their prompt and professional service was greatly appreciated. If you are in the Somerset area and have a car problem, Blough’s is definitely the place you want to go!

Stopped in this morning, I am from out of town and needed my truck repaired.. the dude at the front desk was extremely helpful, professional and definitely honest. These are good folks here

As my daughter was traveling back to college in New York, her vehicle began acting up. She was terrified and on the brink of tears when she called me from four hours away. She ended up going to the closest auto shop she could find, which happened to be here. They were able to get her back up and running. Because of them, she is now heading back home and will even make it on time for her cheerleading tryouts. I am so grateful for this shop and their mechanics! Thank you so much for taking care of my daughter!!! I highly recommend this shop!!!

The best!!! Was having some car troubles on a road trip, was lucky enough to be close to Blough’s. They were SO helpful I can’t recommend them enough!

The people of Blough Automotive are lifesavers, true angels that saved me during a move from Maryland to Wisconsin. I was making the trip on a freezing cold day and my windshield fluid froze up, making it impossible to continue driving. I stopped in without an appointment and was treated like a top priority. They had me back on the road within 20 minutes after using heat guns and flushing out my fluid. I don't know what I would have done without their help! I wish that they were local to me in Wisconsin, I would use their service faithfully!

Halfway through my trip to begin a new life in Ohio my jeep broke down on the Pennsylvania and I was fortunate enough to find Blough’s! They helped me find a tow, a hotel and replaced my radiator by the next day! They even picked me up from the hotel when my jeep was finished. And they showed kindness during a stressful situation. Thank you! I made it to my destination!

Amazing service & great to work with! They took care of our Car's radiator replacement quickly & for a very reasonable price. If we would ever need auto service again in the Somerset area, they will be our ONLY call!

2 years ago I broke down on turnpike heading to Maryland to visit family. I called so many repair shops and no one could get me in or would even give me the time of day! I called them and they told us to come in and they’d help. They figured out a battery was bad in my Prius. They found one close by, got it for me and had me back on the road so fast. I was with three teens and had a family reunion to make it to. I will never forget them and feel bad I didn’t leave a review then! I am headed back that way this summer which is what got me thinking of this!

By far the best service I've ever had at a service center. I was traveling on the turnpike and ended up with a nail in the side wall of my tire. I was able to get the spare on and get to Blough's 5-10 min before they closed on a Friday. They were kind enough to stay open beyond their closing time to help me out and put a new tire on in about 10 min. They even packed my spare tire and repair kit back into my trunk for me. High quality service and very efficient, with great pricing. I would give them 10 out of 5 stars if I could. HIGHLY recommended!!! Thank you Blough's!

I cannot recommend this auto shop enough! Jason gave us a Christmas Miracle! We were driving to Pittsburgh from Virginia on Christmas Eve when it was below freezing. We thought our windshield wiper fluid was gone so we stopped at multiple places along the turnpike and everyone was out. We stopped at CVS in Somerset and luckily Jason was behind my husband in line. He told him that it was probably frozen so adding more fluid would not help… he went out of his way to have us follow him to his shop and thawed out the fluid pipe! He literally saved us from being stuck on Christmas Eve! Jason reminded us that there are good people in this world! I wish we lived closer to use his shop for all of our auto needs! Everyone in the Somerset area should visit Jason when needed!

Excellent service. Immediately took our car after our windshield washer froze due to extreme cold. Let our dogs come inside so they could stay warm. Got us back on the road in 15 minutes. Thank you so much for the hospitality and excellent service. Highly recommend.

I was on a 7k trek across the United States when I heard this scary and horrible sound from my right rear tire while touring the SW corner of PA. I was 8 hours/+500 miles from home. I selected Blough's Auto from the many positive reviews that were posted on Google and they exceeded my expectations. I arrived early and they were able to take my car for test drive and diagnosis it quickly. It turns out that when I had my tires replaced at Costco in Houston 2 wks earlier, they had not tightened the lug nuts. This was a accident waiting to happen that could have been serious. While I was waiting in their clean and comfortable waiting area, a conversation started with a local gentleman who had been using Blough's for years, and he confirmed that they do quality work with high integrity...You can really trust them. I have to say this is my experience too. My only wish is that they were located closer to where I live so that I could always use them.

I had been taking my truck to a local backyard mechanic who kept seeming to charge me money and give me my truck back the same way. After googling for a mechanic in Somerset and seeing the ratings here, I decided to give it a shot. Bloughs was extremely professional, very well spoken, very informative and knowledgeable. So helpful and kind, prices were reasonable, timing was quick. They gained a return customer and I will be sending friends and family up for future repairs!! Thank you so much!

When our car engine stopped on the turnpike far from home, we had to make quick decisions on next steps. Our tow driver highly recommended this shop, and insisted this was the best place in the area. We took his recommendation and were dropped off late at night. Our friends so kindly picked us up and we figured we'd call first thing in the morning to see what's going on. Not only did Blough's run diagnostics and take care of us on short notice, but they also worked with us for a Sunday pickup so we wouldn't have to make an extra trip to pick up our car. We highly recommend this shop, and are so appreciative of their attentiveness!

After having a stressful 4 1/2 hour trip on the Pa turnpike and my car having issues, I was brought to this shop and I couldn’t be more grateful for it. I was by myself with an infant and a dog and these guys were more than accommodating and beyond nice. They made me feel more relaxed after having a complete mess of a day. I was able to get back on the road and finish my trip within minutes! So grateful for them, won’t ever forget it!

Absolute best experience I've had with a mechanic! Our vehicle broke down on the turnpike and they quickly diagnosed the problem and worked with our warranty to give us an estimate. When we decided that the repair was cost prohibitive they were extremely helpful and good natured as we worked on getting the title released and scrapping it. I 10/10 would always recommend this place, the owners are stand up guys and they're really easy to get along with.

My vehicle as well broke down on PA Turnpike and the Pa turnpike staff and State Farm road assistance workers were great. The tow truck driver as well help and recommended Blough's Automotive. My water pump on my truck seized up on the turnpike driving from OH to NJ. I asked the tow truck driver which shop he recommended and he told me about Blough's. I had my truck dropped off and I continued on my way. I was originally uneasy with having to leave my truck in the hands of an unknown mechanic especially since my only contact with them would be over the phone. They were able to diagnose the problem, get the parts and make the repair all before I was due to head back to OH. Blough's made the whole process very easy, they were very informative when speaking with them over the phone and the quick turn around time was an added bonus. The price of the repair was very fair and actually cheaper than I was expecting. I would recommend Blough's to anyone, especially out of state drivers.

I guess I'm not the only one who broke down on the PA Turnpike!! LOL Well, Blough's Automotive to the rescue! I received fast and friendly, and most importantly, HONEST service! It wasn't as bad or expensive as I originally thought. Jason and Jake (their pet dog) replaced a burned out AC belt. They could've overcharged me, but they didn't!! Happy Holidays, Blough's guys!!!
