I stopped in with my car that had to be jumped started. I figured it was the battery. The salesman who came out said he had my battery but he wouldn't put it in my car because my cables were so corroded if they broke he couldn't fix it. Today I went to Honda and they said there was no problem with my cables. I just needed a battery. This cost me a lot of money at Honda for just a battery. I could have had someone else do it for me. Lazy people.

Pedro went above and beyond for my daughter and I tonight. My battery died and I had road side assistance jump my car and it got me to the parking lot of advanced auto parts. They refused to help me there. My 8 year old daughter and I had to walk across 25th street to auto zone. He helped us with no questions asked. Changed my battery despite the inconvenience and it being an hour before they closed. We need more people like that in the world! Excellent customer service.

Autozone I went to Autozone Sunday August 31st at approximately 1:00pm to return the battery that I purchased after buying the wrong one. Upon arriving I asked for assistance with carrying the battery into the store and made the store associate (Jay) fully aware of what I needed to do. He seemed to be agitated and asked me several questions and then refused to return the battery. I asked for a manager and he claimed to be one despite his unprofessionalism and aggressive nature. Although I was disappointed by the encounter I still asked for assistance with carrying the battery back to my vehicle in hopes of returning it to another location where I hope to be better served. As Jay was heading to my vehicle with the battery, I noticed that he started to walk toward the trunk of my car so I redirected him by asking him to place the behind behind the front passengers seat on the floor. (my trunk was full) Jay startled me with his aggressive, loud and unprofessional tone yelling that he wasn't going to put the battery in the trunk and that he already knew where to put it and didn't need me to comment. Frightened but still curious, I asked Jay did I do something to upset him and was he okay. He responded to me by saying "If he had an attitude then he would not have even bothered to bring the battery to my car. So I asked him "What did I do to you?" Why are you being so rude? That this would be horrible customer service by not helping a customer in need and that it is awful customer service to talk to a customer in the manner that he were talking to me. He responded by saying that he didn't care and that if I wanted a problem he would give me one. That truly was a threat and I'm petrified. I responded by telling him that I don't get into ignorant feuds and was concerned about his threat. He responded saying that he is ignorant and he didn't care and I could still have a problem. I'm petrified of returning to this location but I'm still in need of processing my return. At this point I'm considering contacting the authorities in regards to Jay's threats. I'm fearful that he may do something to me if I return to the store. I'm so scared, disappointed, insulted and shocked by this type of customer service from AutoZone. I would have never expected this. P.S. Jay was wearing a gray shirt, he was a black male, slim with a small Afro and was wearing glasses.

The dude at the counter was super helpful and changed my wiper blades for me in about fifteen seconds. Very impressive as I am a spaz and my last attempt at replacing the blades resulted in one of them flying off my vehicle on the Garden State!

Cashier's were non existing had to use self checkout and when I did find an associate and asked to borrow a7mm wrench for a quick headlight swap he told me find it myself and directed me to a table full of unorganized tools they was next to impossible to find anything

The store manager went above and beyond to replace my battery quickly and efficiently even though it was late and dark and the old battery wasn't easy to get out. Can't thank him enough!

Walked in at 6:45-7 and asked for a battery replacement because my vehicle had just died at another store and I had to get a jump to drive it to Autozone. Of the 3 employees in the store 2 told me they didn't know how to change a battery (in defense of one, he said he wasn't old enough that the company allowed him to. Not sure if that's a valid thing but it may be). A greyshirt (manager) was standing less than 5ft away and was obviously trying to ignore the situation so I asked the employee if the manager could do it? He huffed something along the lines of "not now", and I said I can wait if he's in the middle of something. He then told me he wouldn't do it because "it's too dark and they only do that when it's light"?? ( It wasn't even fully dark... and I was parked right in front so the store lights illuminated the car also??) I get that nobody enjoys changing a battery but it's kinda why they're paying you. Really hoping someone will train these guys on how to swap a battery, and just generally in customer service. I've never in my life walked into an autoparts store and encountered NOBODY who was willing or able to swap a battery out. PS- There was maybe 2 other customers in there, this was NOT an issue that resulted from them being busy.

In town from North Carolina and had to stop by for a quick repair. I was able to get the parts and borrow tools to install them. The staff was friendly and incredibly helpful. Great location, great staff who saved my tail end when I needed help.

I’m just not sure why they are so dang rude in this place. I went in to return a spark plug because I bought 2 and only needed 1. I asked them to look up the receipt bc I didn’t know where it was. He refused to help me stating the only person who could help me wasn’t there and wouldn’t be back for a long time. I said that’s fine, I’ll wait. In which he proceeded to tell me he wasn’t helping me not giving me the information to contact management. I started recording and asked again. He told me it was against store policy to record and said he was going to remove me from the store. I said where does it say this in the policy. He proceeded to calm the police and waste tax payers dollars for his false report. I called corporate and made s complaint while standing in the store and got confirmation that it is not against store policies to record in the store. I was also informed that they can look up previous transactions. This employee Julio was just being rude and unhelpful, and then, he tried to weaponize the police against me. If I looked differently, this situation could have went a lot different. Julio should be fired immediately. I’ve contacted corporate and won’t stop until I receive justice for this. Very easy and pleasant experience getting a battery replaced. Eric was chatty and friendly as he installed it right there where I parked. I’m not handy with vehicles at all but within 20 minutes of walking in the door they had the whole issue solved. It was a relief to get it taken care of so seamlessly.

Person doing return very rude. We are customers are not professionals. Some how the cashier is trying to figure out how I order and installed the wrong part. Just kept saying... I dont know how you did that, just made me feel even worse. He did do the return, But had to listen to him so shocked that I made a mistake.

Cashier made a mistake on the register, charged my card 42 dollars… then wouldn’t let me leave with the merchandise, because he said the computer glitches and my money will be returned to me at some point, manager was the least bit helpful, very rude and had no Idea as to how to fix the situation. Will not go there anymore.

Beautiful service. So productive and great to have my car seen in a timely manner by great employee's. Such as C. Javier. He took care of battery. Put it in free for me. Which I had no idea, this can be done. I was not here long. Price of battery was reasonable and Mr. Javier was very pleasant and nice to talk too. Found I needed a new battery today. The clerk helped me pick out the one that I needed (Duralast Gold). Mason did an excellent job with the installation. He was both friendly, and efficient. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. He mentioned how much he liked his job which was easily seen by how he interacts with customers. An overall pleasant experience.

Really helpful staff for idiots like me who can't put their own windshield wipers on. The guy did it happily and quickly. I couldn't get the type I really wanted because of supply chain issues, but the gentleman assured me that their brand is good too. "It's like going to Giant and buying their brand of cream cheese," he told me. "It's the same as Philadelphia."

* In regards to a bad battery. Edison the store manger and the regional or district manager Tony; handled a serious matter absolutely respectfully & no issues went further. Customer Service for this particular issue was handled professionally. Thank you for this and for acknowledging a huge mistake a employee made.

not at all my favorite store. staff seems to be low quality and inexperienced and create an unpleasant environment for some consumers. i only shop there when my 2 other alternative auto stores are out of stock for my needed item. my most recent visit to store found staff refusing to answer an incoming customer phone call in full view of customers present. the staff was mocking a persistent customer who called numerous times and was mocked as a pest and an annoyance for asking too many questions. the store staff was making their refusal to answer call a joke or game in view of customers, and when several calls were hung up on, call was finally answered and the counter service person mocked and shamed the customer to the delight and approval of all present. it seemed to me their poor behavior should have been supervised and corrected by management. there were several employees present, possibly a manager or assistant should have corrected this behavior? i feel all customers deserve respectful treatment, even the difficult ones. i choose not to do business with a store that allows this sort of customer abuse simply because staff is not trained to respect their purpose for being employed. customer is king. even the difficult ones. autozone has several local competitors. this autozone in easton has sent myself and others to competitors stores.

Had to do curbside pick up; very rude. Left me on hold on the phone over 20 minutes. When they were on the phone they were carrying conversations with other employees I couldn’t even tell when they were actually talking to me. I gave the benefit of the doubt thinking they were busy but Then employee came outside with an attitude and literally threw my products in the car; no bag; and slammed my door and went back inside.i tried to say thank you. And he bluntly ignored me. Worst. Customer. Service.
