Called ahead to see if they could take a few camping propane cylinders, and the person on the phone told me they could. When I got there, it was very unclear where to go, as most doors were locked. After lots of searching around, I finally found the drop off area, where the staff told me they could not accept the propane cylinders, and were also generally rude and unwelcoming about it. I understand not accepting propane cylinders, but the staff answering the phones should know that before people drive out of their way. Would not recommend going here to dispose of any kind of household scrap metal.
Bit of a shock today when trying to drop off a small microwave for recycling purposes. Was told by the Nf Supervisor they could not take them because they were radioactive. I then did some Metals Recycling Industry research and found, as I knew already, that Microwaves are not hazardous and fully recyclable. I then called their main number and was again told they were hazardous and as a company policy they do not accept them. It’s just crazy they confuse Electro Magnetic radiation as used in cooking with Atomic Radiation which is indeed a health hazard. However, it is more confusing that a policy like that can be created and no one in the company has pointed out the error. BTW, I think they are a great little metals recycling place and will continue to use them in the future they are very good at what they do in general.
I took a cast iron radiator for recycling. These folks were very professional, courteous and friendly. The transaction was very fast and they paid in cash and more than I had expected.
According to a previous response by the owner, catalytic converters are not purchased via the scale and are priced by model. However 2 weeks ago I replaced all 4 catalytic converters on my truck along with the whole exhaust and took the old cats and exhaust there. They certainly purchased the cats & exhaust via the scale and I received about $200 for everything.

They scam people in the Easton area they don’t have the right prices in the website and they jus make Prices up recommend to call and make sure you get your right amount $ Highly recommend you not to go to this place

Easy access right off Route 78. Easy in and out. Drive on scale, get out, show ID, get back in. backup to dumping area. Off-load metals. Get back in truck, go back on scale, get out and get paid. I was in and out in 15 minutes.
