Those guys are very shady. The work they did for me was terrible. Wasn't on time and changed the price 3 times. The manager is rude. I couldn't wait to get my vehicle out of there. Took it somewere else to get it done correctly. I should've listened to the reviews
Do NOT go to this place. My car sat for 2 weeks and was in rough shape but I had the money and parts to fix it, I told them if they didn’t want to do it no big deal. They said they could fix it with confidence. So after 2 weeks, they say they will have it done the following Monday, 7 days from when I called. I wait until the following Tuesday to call and see how the progress went and I was told they didn’t start it yet. No big deal, I told them I’ll just come grab it and it’s all good. It's been 22 days at this point and it's not like we were waiting on parts bc I already paid for them, this is just labor at this point. 4 hours later I come by and my car is ripped apart. I ask them “why would you rip it apart if you knew I was coming and you had it for 3 weeks?” And they get LIVID.
The young mechanic who runs the garage and the older mechanic start calling me nasty names. Too bad to say on here. So I am trying to get out of there quickly and when I go outside they follow me out and they are threatening to beat me up in front of my wife and children. Saying nasty stuff on top of it. Called the owner, left a message and never heard a thing back.
This is the most unprofessional and unethical garage in Tunkhannock. If you saw how they behaved you would not trust them to fix your car and feel safe.
I had such a positive experience with this auto repair shop. Their prices are very fair, professional employees and the owner is such a cool guy. I definitely recommend Choice auto repair!! ?????
Nothing but a terrible experience with these guys. I asked them to tighten my radius arm nuts on my f150. They heated them up and tightened them down for $250. Less then 200 miles later the radius arm snaps on the road. When I towed it back to their shop hoping they'd make it right, they hit me with a $1200 bill to replace both radius arms and the bushings. Not to mention they took parts out of my truck that I paid for and charged me for them. Now I'm sitting in a parking lot after the bushing and nut they put on backed off while on the road. I contacted them to get a refund on the work they did and they wont take any blame saying it's because "I don't have the proper radius arms". My 1996 f150 has a 4in rough country lift on it with the proper drop down brackets so the suspension geometry stays the same, and you can use oem radius arms. Extremely unprofessional business practices here, and they'll blame everything and everyone else for their mistakes. Please take your business elsewhere. I'm now at square 1 and my truck needs a new front bumper, so this has cost me $2000.
