Every time I look for a part here, it’s wildly more expensive than online. These places must only be in business because people have emergencies. Which is a pretty bad business model
As a women sent to this store on many occasions for "boy errands" to get things for my husband or son, I genuinely appreciate their kindness and help as I come in with a picture of what they are looking for and then directed to exactly what I need without being treated like an annoyance or dumb.
My husband and I had to stop here 3 times to get the correct parts that we asked for. Sadly after this experience I'm not even sure that anyone who works there can count that high. We went in asking for 2 tire rods and 2 tire rod ends. The first person gave us 3 boxes, and said that both tire rods were in the same box. We believed them since one box was noticeably different than the other 2. Once we made it to the mechanic shop, we found out that they gave us 3 tire rod ends. We figured maybe this person was new, and mistakenly grabbed the wrong box since it was a little busy. The manager of the mechanic shop said to ask for the manager because "she will take good care of you and get you the parts you need". So, back to autozone we went. This time we got the manager and explained the situation to her saying we need 2 tire rods. She went and got us a box, and we figured once again that both rods were in there since we clearly stated that we needed 2 rods, and she is the manager the mechanic shop manager recommended. We thought that she would at least know what she was doing. We got back to the mechanic shop and realized that she only gave us one rod. By now our car is torn apart with the mechanics waiting on these parts. This is when one mechanic states that this is VERY COMMON. He told us that people who get parts from that autozone tend to not only get the WRONG PARTS, but THE WRONG NUMBER OF PARTS as well. This leads me to believe that nobody in that store is competent enough to run an auto parts store. I don't know why the manager at the mechanic shop recommended this lady. Especially since her and her staff are incompetent buffoons that just made his shop look bad. However what I do know is my toddler can count to 10. This makes me believe that by the time she reaches kindergarten she will be smarter than everyone who works at this autozone, including the manager.
Never buy from here again . Took 3 days and wrong parts given and shaped 3 times , then 4 hrs late with delivery after being told twice they would be here in 30 minutes.
Knowledgeable staff, clean and reasonably priced for most things. They have a rewards program which is an incentive to do business here. I have had some awful luck though whenever I purchase spray paint cans here. They're always clogged or won't spray, even though they're full.
Most of the staff seem to know what they are doing and can help you find what you need and if their store does not carry what you need they will point you in the right direction.
After visiting other AutoZone's prior and getting to Tunkhannock the staff there was amazing took the time to find the right part didn't trust just what was in the computer but actually went outside to make sure it was correct before I was on the road
I stopped there today to have them check why my service engine soon light was on. My husband came back and told me they said it didn't need to be checked because it could mean I need an oil change. I have a couple of thousand miles before that needs to be done. And I have a light that comes on for the oil change. It was like we had to beg them to check for us.
because of Bill Harris' knowledge of my car he saved me a trip to the garage!! i was told my car type i would have to take it to a garage just to get battery changed. Bill assured me that that wasn't necessary and he could do the job. it took no time at all, even the manager Bryan came out to give a helping hand! nice to see team work just to take and make 1 customer happy at my moment of need! thanks bill and bryan
While I went in to originally purchase a caliper for my Volkswagen, I received two calipers that had stripped bleeders valves and others issues. What I can say is the customer service is beyond exceptional. Talk about going above and beyond to satisfy your customers. ?
Its a little expensive compared to Walmart but there customer service is great. Never
In there for more then 15 seconds before I have help or an offer for help. The parts girls are all hot and it's worth the extra money to beat the lines and drama found in Walmart
It’s so easy to shop here. Bryan M helped me get new wipers and installed them in seconds. He reminded me washer fluid gets low quickly this time of year (and mine was empty). I know absolutely nothing about my car, but they do and it’s always a pleasant experience when I stop here.
Auto Zone mostly rely on customer service. Just go to the counter once you enter. They pretty well ready. If your just browsing, not really much browsing would interest you. Prices high and items limited.
We ordered a part online while on our way to autozone. They were very busy but we went to see if it was ready for pick up they quickly grabbed it for us and we were on our way. The workers were great and as I said they were very busy but made sure we had the part we ordered quickly which was great!
Stopped there today not knowing if they could help. Unfortunately didnt get his name but solved my dilemma in a matter of minutes. Would go back anytime. Great service. Thank you
I ordered and paid for springs to pick up. I didn't go there for 6 days after they came in and when I went to pick them up, AutoZone had sent them back! Like I wouldn't want what I paid $190 for! So, I had an appointment at a shop to get them put in 2 days after I tried to pick them up, and AutoZone didn't get the parts to the shop until close to 3 P.M. I am beyond frustrated with them.
Store shows open employee outside says 7:30am the are open. But here I am t 7:41am. Friday morning waiting because they don’t have the key to get in. Unsure why time I’ll b able to get my part. Good thing one returning a warranty it’s or I’d be ask for points towards purchase
I had an issue with my battery. Employee named Joseph took the time to find the problem. Instead of working on it to postpone making an appointment at a garage, he took the time to clean it properly and put a new battery in at a decent price under the circumstances. In a timely matter. I am very grateful for the service and I will return as a continuous customer! Definitely recommended!
Depending on who you get to service you, you might get a person that actually knows what they are talking about, or not. Some will help you out until your satisfied, others rather just get it over quick. I would say this is 50/50 on service. As with most places, take someone with you that KNOWS cars if you don't. Don't let them BS you. ??
Called these guys to check stock on some plug wires and told him my problem. The associate then educated me on several things it could be and was very knowledgeable. Excellent experience and service. I'm from NC and our AutoZones down there have lackluster sales associates that barely know how to use the parts reference systems. A+ experience. If I lived here I'd only come here nowhere else.
I like the prices, but the company hires people who know absolutely nothing about vehicles so they rely solely on computers. This does not always work and then they can't help you except to stand there with their thumb up their butt trying guess with you.
