I WILL NEVER SHOP ANYWHERE ELSE! Shop assistant Joseph helped me figure out how to get the correct gaps on my spark plugs and offered to change them for me infront of the shop unprompted! Took him ten minutes what I was planning to take 3hrs to do with my limited experience. He walked me through the process as well so I can change them next time! Ive been anxious about this for weeks but determined to DIY it after bad experiences with mechanics and cant thank him and Advance Auto enough for really supporting the community and helping make budgets stretch in a time when paying for car maintenance and repairs is hard for most people! God bless yall and youve won yourself a life long customer!

Joseph Link is always the most helpful, always gets the parts I need, and if it's something they can't get at Advanced Auto, he points me in the right direction.

Snowing, blowing, and just plain nasty outside. We're driving home from Ohio with a "new" truck, and it wipers are terrible! Stop there, and bought wipers. They even installed them for us! Thanks!

It appears incompetency is a requirement to work here. Everytime I visit I’m reminded why I need to just drive down to Auto Zone where they treat customers like actual human beings.

Just buy online. This used to be a great store with helpful employees but has turned into a nightmare with managers that belittle anyone that disagrees with them. In my most recent experience, I was overcharged for a part that was on sale on their website. I called the store the day I bought it and asked if I could come back in and get it price matched/reimbursed for the difference. The employee said that they can definitely do that, but the manager is the only one who can price match so I’d have to come in another day. I went in two days later and the manager was having a boys club hangout at the counter and when I explained the price discrepancy, he gave me every excuse in the book. It started with him telling me that’s not the price online, then when I pulled it up, he said they don’t have it in store so he can’t do it. The website said they had it, and it was on a rack behind him. After he saw it in his store, he said it was a coupon code and not an actual sale, so he wouldn’t honor it. Any argument after that was just met with him saying “no, we’re not doing that. That’s not how it works.” With his buddies giggling in the background. If you’re in Grove City looking for automotive parts/tools, Autozone is just down the road and you will have a much better experience there.

Got headlights for my car, there was a couple people in front of me so I waited until the register was open. It look like three people were working a female was eating an older gentleman was sitting down at the end of the counter and a call middle-aged man checked me out on the register I assumed he was the one in charge. After a quick look under my hood I asked the guy at the counter for a 8mm ratchet and he gave me one. He gave me a bit of an attitude bc I mentioned not knowing if I wanted wrench or a ratchet, instead of giving me both he asked me " so which one do you want?" I took the ratchet due to the long reach for the second bolt. (The headlight was a tight squeeze next to the fuse box) I had to come back in because I asked for the wrong size ratchet the older guy assisted me and got me a 10 mm ratchet. I returned back to my car to work on the headlight only to touch the ratchet to a copper coil under the fuse box and received a spark. I decided to give up, return the tool and not risk my safety. I don't understand with three people working why one of them couldn't assist me. I assumed that the workers would assist anyone who needed help with products bought there, I could be wrong but there was many posters on the windows stating they would help with battery installation, changing your wipers ect... Maybe they don't assist with headlights?

Came into the store last week, helping a friend whose car I had just jump-started. We thought she might need a new battery, but Landon and Devin behind the counter were very helpful--they tested the battery, determined that it was still fine, and helped by cleaning the corrosion off of the terminals and installing felt covers. Great service by these two young men. Thanks!

The owner/employees have always been helpful and professional. My two year old battery would no longer hold a charge, so I took the car back here, which is where I bought the battery. He examined and tested it and then looked up my receipt online, and the battery had a three year warranty. He replaced it with a new one, no hesitation, no cost. Perfect. I have had some pretty bad auto parts/repair experiences over the years, so when you get good service like this, it needs to be noted. Thank you, Grove City Advantage Auto Parts.

While traveling, my VW Atlas battery died. Replacing requires reprogramming the car’s computer system. I found this store and the service was great. I asked if they could replace the battery in my car and they immediately had someone come out to do it. The service was great as the people working there knew exactly what they were doing and were courteous. The process was fast and the guy did both a battery and wiper replacement in around 10 minutes.

Terrible customer service. I brought in wipers that were a week past their warranty and they wouldn’t honor it. Most places would since they’d realize that it’s not worth losing a customer to Autozone for… but oh well. lol

Used to be a decent store but has latley fell off. Tons of bad advice and wrong parts. Much easier to just order online. Even in a pinch their just gunna recomend and sell you the wrong part. Summit racing has way better pricing on basically everything youd go to advanced for and a way more accurate parts catalog. Next time you need brakes or any kinda of tune up, shop summit racing 1st save yourself some money and get better parts.

Staff very friendly my car needed a part that I needed to install and they made sure I had everything I needed to do the job

Professional and courteous. Employees here don't just point to an aisle when you ask if something is available. They will walk over, locate, and verify its the needed part/tool and provide a personal opinion if asked. I know this is standard operating procedure for American businesses when our grandfathers were running things, but sadly isn't the gold standard of service anymore. Kudos guys, thanks for the help. Oh minus one star for being usually the more expensive parts chains around, and parts ordering/delivery times could be improved.

I needed windshield wipers. Stopped in around 12p and employee was ready to help me. They had several to choose from and prices seem fair. I selected a pair and the employee installed them. Been shopping at this store for years with no issues.

We always use Advance. My wife likes them because they don't treat her like she's stupid just because she's female!!

Stopped in to buy a new windshield wiper blade while it was freezing raining outside. An employee picked the correct blade out and installed it for me during the bad weather. Amazing service.

Today, Dakota did an amazing job of putting up the rails for my new kayak. He was super friendly and was super helpful with how all of the parts of the kayak rails work. If you ever need a guy to help you out to get the parts for your kayak on top of your car, Dakota is your guy. I would recommend choosing Advance Auto Parts in Grove City, PA.

I can’t say enough good things about Bill. I was traveling with my wife traveling across the country when my serpentine belt broke and we were stranded on 80. He looked up the part number I needed, got off work at 9pm and met me on the side of the road. He not only dropped off the belt but stayed until midnight helping me. Thanks to Bill we are back on the road and I learned a lot. He was so helpful and knew what he was doing and we can’t thank him enough!! 5 stars all around.

I would not recommend buying lifetime brakes pads (guess any LT part for that matter) here, the store computers only go back 2 years (slightly less than a set lasts), then your out of luck unless you have the "paper" receipt (which is printed on disintegrating paper) that goes blank if its exposed to light.

The gentleman gave us a good price, he permitted a 20% off each item and allowed a 5$ off coupon. Great price, great service.

The customer service here needs serious improvement. Otherwise the store is okay if you need something quick.

I stopped here to replace a dead battery while on a road trip. They had a note that they couldn't replace the battery in my particular vehicle because of some concerns with shorting out the electrical system, but they did let me use their tool cart. With that I was in business because changing a battery is a pretty trivial repair. They didn't have to let me use their cart and I really appreciated that.

Dean was very helpful installing wiper blades. Quick and easy, highly recommend!

Big help from associates saved me 30% compared to online store and made the job I was doing easier.

Wow These guys will go the extra mile to help you....not for money...just because they have heart...Mike the manager, and Ryan...so helpful ask for them.I worked at this store these guys are professionals .They are required to complete on line training weekly, about all the car systems . Brake system, cooling system, suspension, on board electronics,steering system everything.Guys that have worked there for a while are highly trained...Tell them the trouble are they can fix it or point you in the right direction.My car had problems for two months ,stalling, hard to start, they diagnosed the problem. Its worth getting your battery there coz they maintain it for the life of the battery.Any problems let them check it and correct it automatically for free...now that's service.Way to go ADVANCE AUTO PARTS...?

I was visiting some friends in grove city and I found out my back left brake caliber was falling off (scary). I had to drive 5 hours home so I needed a quick fix for my car. I went to the shop and the manager on duty, Rich, was extremely helpful. He came out to my car 2 or 3 times to diagnose the problem, give me advice and help me fix everything. I got to borrow the tools needed for the fix, bought the tools to put the caliber back, and make sure I could fix it later in the trip (though I didn't need too). With Rich's help I was able to get home safely. He was the best employee I've ever come across at an advanced auto parts, and he deserves much praise (maybe a raise?) for his knowledge and care for cars and customers. Next time I'm in grove city and need car help, I will be going back. I will also be referring my friends in grove city about the store. Thanks again, cannot appreciate it enough.
