lovely anniversary getaway even in winter. It rained the whole time, but it was so beautiful and bucolic, it didn’t matter. Only thing missing was ice for the room in the winter. Will return in summer with family!

Red Run was the perfect backdrop for our weekend getaway. While the cabins are small, they feel incredibly luxurious and come stocked with everything you need for a high-end, comfortable stay. The highlight for us was the atmosphere: walks around the lake, coffee with a view, cozy evenings by the fire and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. It’s a scenic, well-maintained spot that’s perfect for recharging. We had a fantastic time—highly recommended!

The Luna cabin at Red Run Campground is a fabulous place to stay. It is centered right on the lake with great views. Emma and Ethan are fabulous hosts and are very responsive to any questions you might have. The welcome gift and note was a nice surprise. We will definitely be back in the spring and summer.

My husband and I had the best time! ?✨ The view of the pond was absolutely beautiful, the amenities were updated and spotless, and we had all the conveniences of home. It’s camping… but make it glam! ?️? We can’t wait to come back!

We have been to Red Run Resort twice. Once in October and once in December & we can’t wait to get back!! Everything is immaculate. From the clean and spacious cabins, the staff there to help you, wood and fire starters ready to go and more! We will continue to choose Red Run over and over again. We love that it is kid and dog friendly so our entire family can come and enjoy! We love that there is also so much to do in the surrounding areas. Both times we did something new!

This place exceeded our expectations in every way. We came for an anniversary trip and we truly blown away by this little gem tucked into the heart of New Holland. The hosts were truly incredible: so kind, responsive, and accommodating. They answered messages on Airbnb almost immediately, which made everything feel seamless and stress-free. When we needed to check in early due to travel arrangements, they went above and beyond to coordinate with the cleaning staff so the cabin was ready for us, which we deeply appreciated. Any small issue we had was handled instantly. When the TV wasn’t working, it was fixed within minutes. The home itself is beautiful and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need, and anything extra was quickly provided without hesitation. The view is absolutely stunning, and the setting is so quiet and peaceful, perfectly tucked away from noise and distractions. It’s the ideal getaway whether you’re staying with friends, family, or a loved one. We felt so comfortable and taken care of the entire time. We couldn’t recommend this place or these hosts more highly and would absolutely stay here again. An unforgettable experience from start to finish.

My boyfriend and I stayed at a waterfront early January. The location is perfect, there is plenty to do and explore. The cabin we stayed in was clean and well kept with some firewood and treats when we arrived. Would definitely come here again in warmer months to try out the pool and other amenities!

My wife and I were privileged to spend two nights here in sight #113 The Alpine. Everything was great, even though it was very cold and windy. The service in cleanness was good. Water was nice and cold. Great experience want to give them a five star review and definitely shout out to Ethan for management.

The Luna Zook cabin was so cute and cozy! I loved the lake view, especially with the lights at Christmas time. Everything was clean and well supplied, and communication with the host was great. Would definitely stay here again

Red Run Resort was an amazing getaway for my wife and myself! It was so quiet, peaceful, and cozy ! We went for a walk and heard a horse and buggy clip clopping down the road . The cabin was spotless, and the Whoopi pies (gift from the resort) were delicious! They have chickens on site and the guests are welcome to gather the eggs , which I thought was an amazing idea! Thank you so much for this experience! I highly recommend it!

Night Away to celebrate Hubby’s birthday! Staying at Red Run was such a delight. Our five year old daughter asked if we could come back for her birthday. We arrived Monday afternoon to a cozy A-frame studio cabin already warmed up and waiting for us. Our daughter started exploring right away. There were two white ducks that greeted us and were lovely to watch in the pond. We could watch the ducks from the front porch and from inside through the large window frame. Once we got inside, our daughter was overjoyed at the large soaking tub. She immediately wanted to get in but we were able to compromise on an evening bath time. One of the first things we decided to do was say hi to the chickens that are located nearby and only a few cabins down the lane. We looked for eggs and chatted to the chickens. Our daughter became besties with them. We proceeded to walk across the road to look at the stream and play on the playground. Our daughter thought the playground was the best place to play and enjoyed the rope ladder. The stream was so calm, peaceful and relaxing with the sounds of nature. When we got back to our tiny house, we started a campfire and warmed up while cooking spaghetti for supper. The cabin was well stocked with the items needed to cook on the stove. Our daughter then decided it was time for her spa time in the soaking tub with a bath bomb we bought along. Afterwards, we had a family movie night relaxing and enjoying the view of the pond. We had such a nice deep sleep and we all woke up refreshed. The bed was so comfortable we didn’t want to get out of it. We had a wonderful time exploring the surrounding areas. We watched some Amish and Mennonite families harvesting cabbages and noticed many Amish school houses along the way. If you want to see a cute town, Intercourse is about a 20 minute drive. Kitchen Kettle Village is located there. New Holland has some nice shops and a great store for thrifting, called the Re-Uzit Shop. It’s only about 15 mins away from Red Run. Terre Hill Family Restaurant is also located nearby at about 10 mins away. If you need to pick up any supplies there is Eby’s General Store located 5 mins away. On our way home we stopped for breakfast at the largest buffet in the nation, Shady Maple Smorgasbord. It was a 15 minute drive and well worth it! All in all we enjoyed our family time together the last two days at Red Run! Thank you to all the staff for the cleanest place!

My 2 friends and I just got back from a stay at this campground. From the moment we pulled in, everything just felt peaceful and welcoming. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay with friends, with a beautiful lake and a peaceful atmosphere, this campground is an easy 10/10. We’d absolutely stay here again. We also took a walk around the lake and we got to see the northern lights.

We had the best time at Red Run with friends for a little getaway. We enjoyed a cold but incredible walk around the pond and got to see some Northern lights as we did! It was so beautiful! The cabin was cozy and perfect with windows overlooking the pond. We also could hear the peaceful clip clop of the horses going by. Thank you for your hospitality and the whoopie pies were delicious too.

Our stay at Red Run was exceptional. The cabin was so warm and cozy (it was 38* outside). The views outside our windows was stunning. So peaceful amidst Lancaster county farms. Added bonus was that we got to experience the Northern lights over the pond and captured some lovely photos. We also loved the Amish made whoopie pies. Thank you Red Run.

this place is a beautiful laid-back country campground in Amish country. We really enjoyed the cabin we stayed in. It was new and modern and absolutely beautiful! The cabin is very clean considering I’m a clean freak and it is dog friendly. Highly recommend for a fun weekend getaway.. Can’t wait to come back in the summer.

Only an hour and half drive and was able to have a beautiful romantic mini getaway. The views are great, the space is beautifully put together. We stayed in the A frame cabin and were very pleased with the atmosphere. Fire area was nice. A lot of cool stuff to do around the area. We plan to return.

I'm indifferent about this campground. I guess the best way to speak on it is to list pros and cons of my recent stay: Pro: they had a robust activities list-bingo, line dancing, and more. The funnel cake truck was fresh and delicious. Although I didn't fish, the pond looked pleasant. Location was right. Cons: the spots were tight, and the camp felt crowded. When we arrived, both our breaker and meter at the site were dead. You would think service would have been checked prior. The tech was very helpful and replaced both efficiently. The campground was rowdy. Not what I expect in comparison to other Lancaster Co. camps I've stayed. There were a lot of out of state (NJ) campers that were obnoxious loud after midnight. So, would I stay again? Maybe, if the other area campgrounds were full and the price was right.

Charming tiny house for a change of scenery during a long weekend. The property is well maintained. I had a great time exploring New Holland and Lititz. Fun antique stores and you will not starve as there are great restaurants and cafes all around. When you get here just Google restaurants near me. Be sure to bring your fishing pole. I enjoyed watching the young and "young at heart" campers fish. Red Run had several activities planned for the weekend.

Red Run Resort in Pennsylvania is a wonderful place to relax and get away. The A-frame cabin was very clean and super cute, with a cozy feel that we loved. The quiet and peaceful atmosphere made our stay perfect

This was our first time at red run resort and we absolutely love it. Despite the rain, the fall activities continued with pumpkins and the pumpkin patch, cornhole tournaments and line dancing. All the staff is very friendly and his eager to talk to you about your experience here. We will be back again!

We found Red Run last September while looking for a campground to stay at on short notice. We have camped in a variety of campgrounds in the Lancaster area for years, so I called the ones we had been to in the past and a few new ones. The only campground that responded was Red Run, a campground we had never been to before. They had availability and we came in October 2024. Having spent a great deal of time in the Lancaster area, we were only looking for a quiet weekend get-away and Red Run didn't disappoint. We loved the easy access from the PA turnpike, the spacious sites, and the campground layout. In 2025, we have been back twice. As we finish up our third stay at Red Run, we look forward to returning again in 2026.

Awesome experience! A nice getaway if you’re looking for peace & serenity! Grounds are clean, nature is beautiful and the rooms are just amazing! We stayed in Sonoma 107, it was spotless, modern and comfortable…and well stocked! The lodge usually has events on the weekends. The property is not too big but big enough for families, something for everyone to avoid! We definitely will be returning!

Resort was very clean and beautiful. The cabin was clean, modern and in a great location. The resort store had all the essentials you need. The pool looked in need of being cleaned/skimmed so we did not use it. We will definitely be back!

I had the opportunity to take a trip here with my mom, and it was such a peaceful and refreshing experience. The property was spotless and beautifully maintained. We stayed in a cabin right on the water — the view of the sunset was incredible. We were warmly welcomed with locally made whoopie pies, which was such a thoughtful touch. In the morning, we got to collect fresh eggs from the on-site chicken coop for breakfast. It truly felt like a perfect little getaway. Highly recommend!

We had stopped in while Red Run was in the process of adding cabins around the lake. The Cabins were very nice. But we didn't like the fact that Red Run kicked out the seasonal campers around the lake to make way for their plans. It seem, at least to my mind that the campground is placing profit above people. So we will not be supporting them in the future. sorry!

We just wrapped up a fantastic family getaway at Red Run Camping and couldn’t be happier with our stay! From the moment we arrived, everything was just right. The Front Lake A-Frames were spotless and cozy perfect for our family to relax and unwind. The free fresh eggs were such an adorable and memorable touch; our kids loved checking daily to see if the hens had laid any. A simple joy, but one that made the stay feel extra special. The pool was great and the view was spectacular especially in the morning with a cup of coffee, enjoying the silence and the soothing sound of the fountain surrounded by nature. Truly peaceful! Firewood was included at check-in, and if we needed more, we could easily buy additional wood for $7 right at our campsite super convenient! The only suggestion we’d offer: adding a picnic table to each outer camp area would be a total bonus. It’d be a handy spot for outdoor meals and make the experience even cozier. ? All in all, Red Run Camping gave us a warm, family-friendly escape with charming extras and wonderful service. We’ll absolutely be recommending this place to friends and we’ll be back ourselves! We already planned for it.

had a wonderful experience at Red Run Campsite. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and cozy perfect for a relaxing getaway. The area around the site is peaceful and scenic, making it a great spot to unwind and enjoy nature. The fishing was excellent, with plenty of opportunities to catch and spend time by the water. Overall, it’s a great place for both relaxation and outdoor activities, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet retreat with great fishing.

My daughter decided for her birthday that she wanted to go camping…but my wife and I wanted something a little nicer than a tent on the ground with 2 young kids…and a dog. Red Run was perfect for what we were looking for and provided a great place to stay with nice rooms and amenities. We spent every day at the pool and are planning to fish later. Our dog has loved getting to travel with us and we’ve been enjoying camp-fire meals every morning and night. We’ve explored some of the local area and the recommendations on their website were fantastic! We’ve also met some lovely friends who were staying the same time as us. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a great camping/glamping experience.

My family and I spent one night in the A-Frame Cabin 137 at Red Run Resort. From the moment we arrived, we were surprised by the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. The cabin was perfectly decorated and spotlessly clean. Every detail had been thoughtfully considered. We had all the tools and amenities we needed to fully enjoy the kitchen, the bathroom, and our stay overall, including fun games for the whole family. My kids also enjoyed the pool and playground! The lake view is stunning, and the sound of the fountain is incredibly soothing. Watching the ducks swim was such a lovely sight, and the opportunity to make a bonfire by the lake was truly wonderful. The entire setting felt peaceful and special. We had a magical morning watching the mist spread over the water at sunrise. The early morning light was spectacular. As we were walking along the path, filled with joy, we were greeted by the warm smile of a staff member, which made our day even better. Everything was truly wonderful, and we will definitely return soon and bring more family with us. Thank you so much for such a beautiful experience.

This was an amazing experience from booking to departure. The staff (Donna & Natalie) were informative, friendly and responded to messages quickly. It was easy to find the campground and our room. There was parking right next to our room that was great. Once we got inside it looked exactly like the photos on the website and was extreme clean. We enjoyed the views and private fire pit. This was a great weekend of couple time to recharge without the children but we had such a good time we are planning to return with the kids.
