My friend and I had a delightful tasting with Brian, who was super friendly and knowledgeable and fun to talk to. We were able to bring our own 'snackle box' for treats to enjoy with our wines.
Our views as a group varied, while I understand they had one person that day it took a long time to be served. In situations where you are short staffed a different method of tastings should be offered. Allow people to pick the 6 they like and serve those on the tray, after that allow for other mini samples if requested. The host was a lovely person but could perhaps spend a lil less time chatting when its crowded. There were times where it was too much for some and ok for others especially when it was packed with both customers inside and those waiting to buy. I love a good story but the room should of been read to say less sometimes is more. We enjoyed all the samples and the extra surprises, we are not newbies to tastings or wineries but 2hrs is a long time. The owner although wants to boast on their wines(good by the way) needs to not be so stagnant on change especially when the location has limited space and staff. Overall we enjoyed our time and will be back. ❤️
My family was in the area for lunch and we stopped at the Cullari tasting room. We love sampling wines and learning about our states wineries. Brian was an amazing host! He was so funny and engaging and very knowledgeable! We greatly enjoyed the tasting, the wine was fantastic, and we all took home a few bottles! (Okay I took home 7). Overall, a great experience with excellent choices!
What a great experience. We stopped in to enjoy some wine on their outdoor area. Kelly was a delight to talk to and help educate us! Prices are great! Stop in and grab a bottle!
Hostess was not very nice! Didn't let us talk. We wanted a normal wine flight and she told us "the owner" likes to do one at a time!! Would take forever. There was a room full of bored people...need to get new employees
This place not only had some of the best wines I've ever tasted, but also has the GREATEST tasting experience, hands down! ?A quick side note: They do sit-down wine tastings, which is not common, and the size of the shop can cause it to get pretty busy. My fiancé and I lucked out, because it wasn't busy yesterday when we visited.
Kelly was SO passionate and knowledgeable about her role at Cullari. I genuinely appreciated how she took the time to explain the different descriptions, wine notes, and what they pair well with, plus some tips and tricks for serving. I love wine, but can quickly get overwhelmed with the knowledge of different wines... Kelly didn't make me feel incompetant or overwhelmed at all, she was so thorough with her explanations!
The wine itself is phenomenal- I can easily see why they have best sellers in their selections. The menu of flavors was vast, but all of the selections seem to be well-crafted and high in quality. The White On White and chocolate wine were delicious.
I truly hope this business sticks around for a long time, because without it, Bricker Village would be sorely lacking. If you're in the area, you MUST stop in. In my opinion, the sit-down tasting helped me to appreciate the wine 10× more than a regular tasting at any other winery.
Went in the tasting room to try some wine and the lady working was dismissive and unwelcoming. Kept telling us it would take a long time, she was the only one there and what did we want to do. We walked out. Poor customer service skills. Won’t be back.
My wife and I visited the tasting room on November 16th. What a great experience. Kelly was absolutely amazing even though short staffed and busy; she truly gave her all to make everyone there happy. we found several varieties that we liked and purchased. Thank you for making our experience so great and thank you for donating proceeds of flaming red to local fire departments, it is a great gesture.
Ok, so we do a lot of wine tasting all over the U. S. And this was one of my most favorite times. Kelly is amazing and knows her stuff and loves her job.. If you don't know what you want or even if you think you know. I highly recommend a blind tasting let Kelly pick. Like I said amazing.. The wines are uniqu in taste we will definitely go back when in town.
Fun wine tasting and our host was hilarious! NOTE: Do not go here if you have a reservation waiting at Brickerville House Restaurant. If you leave the tasting, you will not get your money back.
Lucky for us, that was NOT a problem! We came while we waiting for a table at Brickerville. 5 minutes in to the tasting, our table was ready... but we told Brickerville to give it to someone else because we were having a great time at Cullari!
This is a great afternoon stop- highly recommend coming here for Mother's Day like we did!
We had a lovely tasting experience. Kelly was so informative and knowledgeable. She presented so much information related to each taste and spoke so highly of the owner/wine maker. She was able to spend quality time with us while doing the same with other tables and walk in customers. We loved the wines and purchased several bottles.
What a uniquely amazing experience, thanks to the friendly and informative sommelier, Kelly. She somehow managed to give each table of guests their own personalized experience, describing each wine in detail and then offering food pairing suggestions that I’m so excited to try at home. We purchased 6 of the 40 offered to us, and we’re looking forward to enjoying them when we return from our brief getaway, especially the chocolate wine. You’ll definitely want to give that a try!! Cullari wine tasting was such a lovely experience for my husband and I. The wine’s outstanding and I must have a special mention of Kelly, she truly went over and beyond to make our experience unique and incredible. Kelly is awesome ! Right away you can tell that she loves what she does. Extremely knowledgable and easy to conversate. She listened to the types of wines my husband and I love, she made great recommendations. This was a definitely a personalized experience and I can’t wait to come back. Our personal favorite was the Coco Nostra. In total bought 18 bottles. You will not be disappointed. We stopped by their tasting room and sampled and bought some wine. Enjoyed Kelly who was the host and she knew and explained everything you ever wanted to know about wine. We liked the idea that their wine was only available from their tasting rooms and was made in small batches to pursue the quality of the wine.some of the best wine we have ever tasted.
Did a tasting in Cullari's relaxed and comfortable tasting room. Brian was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful with our choices. We bought a few bottles and now that I'm home, I'm regretting I didn't buy a few more! They're delicious and priced right! Cheers!
My mom and I were on our way home from a disappointing trip to a pickle fest yesterday and decided to hit up some wineries we've never been to. While this place was a little out of the way, we were super happy that we stopped. My mom saw they had a chocolate wine from the window, and at that moment, she was stoked ? Kelly was amazing and welcoming. She was super friendly and asked us questions like where we were from, and what kind of wines we liked, and explained to us the wine menu and what wine would pair well with each of our picks. We even picked up baked lemon ricotta cheese that she recommended! We will definitely be back possibly with some friends. We each bought 4 bottles. Mine being pictured below! Strawberry fields tasted like a pb and jelly, Black on black to me tasted like fruity pebbles, flaming red was sweet yet had a smoky taste to it. Was different than I ever had before.
Be aware that this isn't an actual vineyard. It's a small little shop located around other shops. Don't come here and get mad it's not a huge winery with fields. It's also not your normal tasting where you pick your 5-6 wines and immediately are served. These tastings take about 30mins, she explains the menu. If you don't like information on what you are drinking and want something fast, this isn't the place for you. But I highly recommend stopping to get a tasting! They have something for everyone from super sweet, sweet, dessert wine, semi sweet, dry, super dry. They have over 30 options to choose from!
I can not resist writing a review of a very special hostess named “KELLY”. This is the second time a neighbor and I have had her and she is the very best experience that I have ever had at a wine tastings winery. She puts her heart into her job and truly enjoy pleasing and entertaining her customers. She is not only entertaining but she is also so efficient and and doesn’t neglect anyone even with a full house of customers. She is simply amazing. If possible she should be cloned. Every winery should have a Kelly. I told my neighbor, I would love to be a guest at her home because she is so knowledgeable and make everything sound so delicious with her knowledge of pairing. I did not have any cash on me to generously tip her but Lord willing I will make up for it on my next visit. She is extremely special and an asset to Cullari Vineyards. What a gifted woman. Looking forward to my next visit when Kelly is there. Thank you for allowing me to give Kelly the recognition that she so deserves.
I could see why this winery has so many 5 star ratings! It’s in a cute little village and the wine here was the best we’ve had lately. We’re typically sweet drinkers but Kelly introduced us to a drier wine we wouldn’t have picked on our own, and they have about 35 wines to choose from- dry to sweet. The reasonably priced tasting and wine, fun and interactive host (Kelly) made our tasting experience one of THE BEST we’ve had in a while.. including some in the Finger Lakes where we usually go to! Definitely stop in and check this place out, you won’t be disappointed! We will be back soon!!
Kelly is very knowledgeable and eager to share with her customers. The wine tasting is an unbelievable value. You can tell Kelly wants you to have the best possible experience - she even recommended a wine to take to the restaurant nextdoor based on what we thought we'd order. Can't wait to go back!
I wish I got the name of the awesome woman who took us through our tasting experience on Friday, Oct 21, 2022. She had such a wealth of knowledge and suggestions for pairings. The tasting experience is worth far more than the $6 per person charge (and you get to keep your glass and get a discount if you purchase 6 or more bottles). I highly recommend trying out Cullari wines. I loved almost all of the ones my husband and I tried and even the ones I didn't love, I still liked. ? Some of my top favorites are My Daily Red, the Cabernet Franc, and Strawberry Fields. It was so worth the trip up from Delaware and we'll definitely be back.
I will say that I will come back again. It was an excellent experience for my birthday, and I cherished the people working here. They were delightful, and I had some tremendously enjoyable conversations about wines. Every question I had about wines was answered. It's an excellent location with pleasant stores around to visit. Please go check them out and try some of my new favorite wines Coco Nostra, Pomegranate Splash, and Big Apple. Also, bring the wine glass they give and receive a discount on your next wine tasting.
Went in thinking it would be another run-of-the-mill wine tasting but Kelly was an incredible wealth of knowledge and you can tell she genuinely loves what she does. Between my mom and myself we left with 30 bottles of really great wine, a new list of places to visit in the area, and a new desire to throw a party! I'll return any time I come through this part of Pennsylvania.
Our hostess Kelly was wonderful, funny. Personable and patient. The wines were very good but FYI if she says they are sweet then they are sweet. We are anxiously waiting on her cook book. Can't wait to go back. Also be sure to try the chocolate....

I love that you get to take home the glass and that they have another Tasting Room in Hershey. So far, I've Loved everyone that I've tried and my favorites are Tutti Frutti, Cayuga White and the Coco Nostra which is their chocolate wine.
Had the best wine tasting experience here. Kelly was our guide and was noting short of amazing. She told us about each wine and made recommendations when we had a hard time choosing. All of the wines were delicious. I bought the red wine number 1 and my friend bought a sweet wine. Fun fact. The restaurant next door is Byob but only with cullari's wine. If you are going to the restaurant when the winery is closed, you can call ahead and pay by credit card for the wine and they will drop it off at the restaurant with your name on it. Super cool. This is also the only winery with chocolate wine made in hershey pa.
