I needed a new battery, and Ian really helped me out. Also checked my alternator and explained some things I didn't know. Even told me to smack the controls for my windows since they weren't working right, and to my surprise, it actually worked, haha

Poor workmanship on a battery replacement. We needed to test a potential bad battery in my daughter's car. I walked in and I seemed to disturb the clerk who was looking half asleep and on his phone. He did come out though to help, and was nice and courteous with a touch of "I don't care." He ended up replacing the old battery and sending my daughter on her way. Only a couple weeks later, she broke down on the side of the road because the battery terminal was not tight and the battery was not installed properly. This is not acceptable since we rely on and trust AutoZone's service to keep vehicles on the road.

I just had a horrible experience at the store. Everyone in there had an attitude. One worker walked right past me when I mentioned something to her. This needs to be worked on. I even asked what was the problem and they blame their personal life for their horrible customer service

After attending a meeting nearby and not being able to start my car without a jump, I came straight to AutoParts on Lititz Pike, Lancaster PA, for assistance. Carlos, the manager, was friendly and caring, while quickly checking my battery and ultimately installing a replacement. He was terrific and saved the rest of my day!

I just stopped in to get some windshield wipers, Juan and Vincent were fantastic! They had me in and out in less than 20 minutes, and installed the wipers for me. I highly recommend this AutoZone. Everyone is professional, kind, and efficient with their service. Thanks for the help guys!

Decent location. Not as well stocked as some others. Employees we're helpful and the store was clean. *Updated* The staff here has certainly changed since my initial review 2 years ago. Some of the same staff exists and the carry over are quite disgruntled which seems to have led to newer employees to follow suit or vice versa, I'm not sure which. I was looking for a blinker bulb assembly replacement. I'm not very mechanically inclined and I suppose my explanation wasn't good enough. The employee (who had been there from my previous review) simply didn't want to come out to my vehicle to see what I was trying to explain. This led to a loss of a sale that went to advanced auto parts, their direct competitor. It's worth noting that another younger employee was working with another customer with a battery and came in with the "old battery" complaining that the customer he was helping outside asked him to check something else and he was complaining to the employee who lost his sale with me that he wasn't a mechanic. It seems the younger generation of not wanting to work is actually wearing off on those that have been there for some time. It's pretty sad that employee 2 would say this to employee 1 (who is a manager/supervisor) in front of me (a potential yet lost customer) while employee 1 (the manager/supervisor) rolls his eyes in disgust as if he agrees. Done with this location for sure. Lititz deserves better.

UPDATE : AutoZone sold 2 DEFECTIVE engines ! My truck has been in and out of the shop since Dec. 2021. I was able to drive it a little over 1000 miles with those 2 JUNK engines ! It's currently in the shop waiting for engine #3 from this store. I'm out THOUSANDS of dollars and I STILL don't have a truck I can drive ! A shop in Lititz was paid to install an engine that they purchased from AutoZone. AutoZone did not include ANY warranty information or break in information when I picked up my 07 Avalanche on 6/20/2022 with 189,582 miles on it.. The rebuilder of the engine was NuTech. Warranty information /break in procedures were NOT provided until 10/3/2022. I was told by the shop everything was good to go and to change the oil at 5000 miles. Since we didn't have the paper work that should have been supplied with the engine, it was never broken in properly. I had noticed smoke at start up 3 times until I finally was able to catch it on video and picture ( note : it took time to exit truck with phone and put in camera mode so there was a considerable amount . As I sat in traffic, I noticed the oil pressure drop from 40 to 20 psi as I sat for minutes. Back in shop at 190,287 miles on 8/24/2022, no issues found. At 190,564 miles I was warned by the on board computer I was 2 quarts low on oil !!!!! I added the 2 quarts and documented everything. I noticed at that time I was at least 1 quart low on antifreeze. At 190,928 miles 10/5/2022 I changed the oil. 5 quarts of oil came out when it holds 6 quarts. Knowing it was full after adding the 2 quarts at 190,564 miles I KNEW there was a problem. I used 3 quarts of oil in under 970 miles !!!!! AutoZone WILL NOT replace the defective engine. I was given a list of 11 tests they wanted done to insure the engine is defective. When proved ( I guess my documentation isn't good enough or the 4 master techs who have seen the truck ) they will replace the engine BUT they only pay $50.00 an hour for the shop to replace it. The Shop charges $144.00, so I will be responsible for the difference. SAY WHAT ? I've had the truck for less than 90 days when the issues started and YOU want me to pay THOUSANDS to have your defective engine replaced ? BUYER BEWARE UPDATE : Manuel from AutoZone emailed me October 31 explaining I would be contacted by regional management in 24 hours. It's now November 2, no one has contacted me. UPDATE: Josh from AutoZone called me at 5:06 pm November 2, 2022. He said the shop who installed the defective motor should handle the warranty and he would call the shop and call me November 3, 2022 to figure this out. It's Nov. 10th at 4:14 pm and I am still waiting for that promised call. The shop, Christian Brothers in Lititz says I needed to deal with AutoZone. The owner of Christian Brothers told my credit card company they are working with me. Last communication I had with them was October 11, 2022 at 6:30pm. Update : please note the oil pressure pictures. While hot, at idle in drive there is a picture of it holding 40psi, the 2nd shows same scenario 20 minutes later holding 20psi. Minimum is 25psi.

Had a late night battery issue on my Audi and needed to get that and the alternator checked to figure out what I was going to do about getting to a very important job in the morning. I arrived there 20 min before closing and Dakota got me squared away and dropped a little helpful knowledge. Thanks D!

Our headlight went out on our way home today. We stopped off at this AutoZone to pick a new one up. The store was layout really well and clean so it was easy to find what we were looking for. An associate, by the name of Vincent, came outside to see if we needed help installing it! That was so kind of him to do! This is a great location and Vincent should get a raise for his wonderful customer service!😁

Both technicians were super friendly and helpful. Very "down to earth", no judgement on my lack of knowledge for what I needed and they were happy to assist with installation. The kind of place you WANT to go to for automotive help.

Biggest thanks to Gino for helping me out with figuring out what was wrong with my lights. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of to the higher degree. I highly recommend asking for help for Gino he knows what he’s doing. One of the best people that I’ve ever met.

Car wasn’t starting so I came to get my alternator scanned. Ended up leaving with an entire new battery and they installed it for me! The battery was a good price and Gino and Colin were extremely helpful, as well as informative. Best service I’ve ever received at an auto zone!

I went to AutoZone today because my headlight was out. Chris M. was great in helping me make a decision on which bulb to get. Chris went the extra mile and cleaned my very dirty/cloudy headlight. He was so nice to talk to! I felt very confident that he was doing exactly what I needed and that he wasn’t just trying to make a sale. I am actually looking forward to driving at night to see how much better I will be able to see. I will definitely return to this AutoZone when I need help with my car.

This AutoZone by far as the most knowledgeable staff in the Lancaster area. I came in the other day and not only did the manager find the front rotors I needed he searched in three different areas all over the state and found a pair in York Pennsylvania. I've worked in retail and customer service jobs whole life and I know good service when I get it. Thank you Gino. I appreciate your due diligence and searching everywhere for those front rotors that I couldn't find for my Volkswagen. A+++++

Wow, I have had such a great experience with Cody, Gino, and Chris. I came in with many questions about my vehicle and they were able to direct me to exactly what I needed. I didn’t feel like they were trying to upcharge me at all. I genuinely felt like they knew what they were talking about and left feeling good about my purchases. Cody went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable with my purchase.

Came in to have someone look at my ac which was not blowing cold air. Chris M helped me, was very sweet and professional. He showed me what was wrong and helped me understand what was going on. He fixed this issue super quick and I paid barely anything. The entire time I was there was no longer than 15 minutes. Thanks Chris!

Great experience assisting in testing and changing my battery when my current one finally gave out. Manager was very helpful and knowledgeable. He gave a few suggestions for longer battery life and included felts for the terminals to ensure longevity. Would highly recommend and will definitely be stopping here for any parts in the future.

I have shopped at many Auto Zones across Lancaster County for years. Last year when I walked into this one I knew it was top notch. The service was over the top. The sales associates were amazing. I went back again last night and was again extremely pleased. Not only did Chris and Gino find the parts I needed, but they installed them as well. I wasn't only pleased, but have a desire to return for all my car part needs!

Had problem with bulbs. Chris M. saw me, asked if I needed help and provided a great solution. Chris is a lot faster than me trying to do this work. Excellent customer service!! I like this store; your employees make the difference

Amazing Crew! Attentive and definitely know their stuff! I highly recommend this location. I was having an issue with an Audi took it to a mechanic, they tried to point out what they thought was the problem. Drove over to auto zone to pick up the supposed piece. Matt offered to check out the car, I explained what was going on. He was able to pin point the exact issue(different from what the mechanic suspected smh) and he was able to order the exact piece. Now its alive! Thank You Guys!

We needed a new battery for our son's car and it was after 9:00 pm, we stopped in at AutoZone on Lititz Pike and Gino was very friendly and helpful. He provided us with some options for different batteries. We purchased a battery and he came out into the parking lot and installed it for us! We were so appreciative! He went above and beyond! We will definitely shop here again!

I can honestly say I've never had a bad experience at this store. Today Austin and Gordon help me with shots for my window they even put one on for me cuz the other one was missing a part that I have to get it at junk yard but those two guys were so nice and the guy at the service desk was very helpful and very nice he knew exactly what I needed and they had it thank God so thank you guys I appreciate you and thank you for being here and the great customer service.

Had a bad battery on the way to the beach with my wife and kid. I found the closest autozone and had my battery checked and replaced by a really nice guy named Austin k. Everyone in the store was super polite and friendly. I can’t say enough for Austin. Highly recommend this store!

If there was 6/5 star, I would give it. We asked Micheal Ulrich in Lititz, PA store #4669, about a brighter head light bulb. He checked our light of the car, then recommended a $55 bulb that will give wider, brighter and longer light. Then he came out on a very cold and windy day to replace the bulbs. The battery needed to be removed to reach the bulb. He asked if I have the code to restart the radio, which I had. He added a gel to protect the bulbs against the moisture, and used latex gloves, remove the battery, replaced the bulbs, installed the battery and checked the lights. Wow, what a service! Why would I go to any other place? All this was with a pleasant attitude and a smile. When we asked what kind of coffee we can buy, he refused to answer. He is a company representative rather than a sales clerk.

These guys are usually pretty helpful and friendly. I get lots of coupons sent to me by text message and they often have rebates that you can submit online. I changed my four stars to five. I bought wiper blades for both vehicles.. probably months ago. Never installed them until a week or two ago because I was waiting for weather to happen. One of the blades had been previously returned (didn't realize it) and the clip had been broken off. Was not sure what kind of run around I was going to get since I bought them so long ago. There was no run around. No questions asked. Almost seemed happy that I had stopped in. Got the new wiper blade for me, took it out of the package and checked it. Offered to put it on. Threw away the packaging that I really didnt want anyway. Super friendly. No reason to shop anywhere else for my auto needs. Not sure if this is new management or new staff. I saw a few guys there I had never seen before. I was in and out really quick. Had a nice buy one get one free fuel system cleaner right at the register that I grabbed. Thanks AutoZone.
