I’ve had enough of this place. I like Douglas firs, but apparently, they’re not getting them again after this year. They’re only selling the higher-priced trees now. I remember when the trees were $35, and the maximum price was $75. Even the Amish and Mennonites are price gouging. What happened to the world?
I’ve been a loyal customer of this place for over two decades, and it’s been a cherished family tradition since I moved to Pennsylvania. However, this year’s tradition is coming to an end because there were no Douglas firs available. When I inquired about the other excessively priced trees, I asked if I could speak to the manager about possibly getting a couple of dollars off, considering I’ve been a 20-year veteran of this establishment. I was told that the prices are pretty much set in stone, and I was told that the Douglas firs were sold out. I understand that I’m going there before the advent of the internet, but I was still informed that the prices are ridiculous. I’m going to get a victory for my child, and maybe next year, I’ll go down there and get an overpriced Douglas fir, just like the other overpriced trees that they’ve overpriced now. Everything down there is literally overpriced. I can tell you that I’ve been a customer for 20 years, and in the past few years, the prices have skyrocketed. Anyway, thanks for the headache. I even called earlier today to inquire about trees and was informed to me they had all the trees in stock. Farms. Happy Holidays.
I had heard so much about Frysville Farms and finally got to go. It’s an amazing place! My 3 boys loved the train setup, the scavenger hunt and pictures by the sleigh. The poinsettias are absolutely stunning! They have so many different varieties, more than I knew are even available ? Highly recommend taking your kids or grandkids here for a fun little trip!
Best place to get poinsettias in Lancaster County! It is a yearly tradition to go and get numerous poinsettias for holiday decor. There are also wonderful plants all year round!
A lovely experience for Grandma and grandsons. We got there around 8:40, so it was not crowded. The boys thoroughly enjoyed finding tiny animals to win a prize, and then finally took advantage of the carriage for a photo shoot. And the poinsettias were plentiful, with many varieties, and Christmas planters. Worth the stop!
What an incredible experience we had while shopping for our Christmas tree! We discovered everything we needed to deck the halls for the holidays. They had a wonderful selection, including Frasier and Douglas firs, concolor fir, and white pines. Plus, we found beautiful pine roping, vibrant poinsettias, and an array of ornaments. The train display inside the shop is truly impressive, and they even have a fun scavenger hunt for kids to find hidden animals in the train scene. I would highly recommend Frysville Farm.
This place is very nice. It is a big place with a good variety of flowers. The guy at the register was very helpful. This is now on my list to come back to next year. It is a little tricky to find.
Festive, child friendly, gorgeous poinsettias, all the things. It is a little hidden gem for sure, lots of beautiful plants plus a large train set. They also have a scavenger hunt for the children. Can recommend ?
The place is full of wonderful looking poinsettias. Just before Christmas there is a great train display.

This place was amazing!! We used to go to Fry's Evergreen Plantation growing up and were super sad when it burned down! This is definitely a wonderful place to make a new tradition to visit to every year.
They' have a large train set up that's great for children! If they find a bunch of animals on a scavenger hunt list they get to pick out a little prize . They also have a wide selection of beautiful poinsettias and other plants.

Very friendly and accomadating. Also very helpful personnel. They actually turned the trains on for the first time since Christmas time for our grandsons, and today is 4-03-21.
This place seems like it would be great, but I can’t comment on anything other than the prices on Christmas trees, which have significantly increased in the past couple years. I believe the lowest price was for a 5-7’ tree at $65. This isn’t terrible but I chose to go here based on reviews from 2-3 years ago saying trees were about $35. It’s understandable prices have increased, but i was still disappointed.
Reasonably priced trees and tons of poinsettia ranging from very small to large. Also several train layouts with a scavenger hunt for kids (finding things in the train layout)
Normally I love buying fresh roping here. This year I noticed the roping looked a little dried out. I hoped it was just at the end of the roping. After bringing it home and opening it, it’s all dried out and very sparse with greens. Very disappointed & esp with paying $30 for it. I heard other people tell me the same about their roping this year also.
Best family oriented place around. Everyone once is so kind. Year round of you need something for your seasonal decorations or to make your yard look beautiful Frysville is the place to go! Great prices for beautiful quality! Wont go anywhere else!
Won’t go anywhere else to get our Christmas tree! What a great place! Despite cold rain this evening, employees had great attitudes and were very cheerful and helpful with trimming our tree! We got our tree from Frysville last year and it lasted wonderfully throughout the season! Best prices around for good quality! Well worth it. We also always get a yearly ornament from the exquisite display which is fun! Our wreath for our front door lasts weeks! And we always walk away with an armful of drop dead gorgeous poinsettia! Couldn’t recommend enough! Train display is also a must see!
Fryville Farms is the perfect Christmas decor stop. Between plants, 80k poinsettias in a dozen different varieties, to the weaths, greens, and ornaments, there is something for everyone. The gentleman at the checkout even asked us to select the color of foil we wanted for our poinsettias. Excellent service, and excellent selection. There was a beautiful train display to see even if you don't have a green thumb. Fryville has thought of everything by including an activity for children (and we had fun too!)
Worst tree I ever bought in my life. Needles falling all over my house. I don’t even want to decorate it. All bare in the bottom. Must have been cut down 2 years ago. It was pruned horribly. Never again. A friend of our ours bought her tree there and same thing. Needles all over. Never again!!
