Do not buy a car from them! I just got a letter from the state attorney General saying the state sued them. The car I have from them constantly has issues.
Boyer's stated mission is to "help those in need" as a "Christian auto dealer" ie those who need transportation but don't have the means to afford reliable transportaton. Purchased a Honda Accord in 2014 that was in honesty a good reliable car although the price sold was $1000 dollars over retail value which is understandable being a vehicle rental agency where mark ups are common. Currently Boyer has a vehicle that's KBB listed at a value of $3500 but with an asking price of $9000 almost 3x its market value which in the current economy of new vehicle shortage and high used prices is more price gouging than a 30% markup across the board. Price gouging is something to expect from Putin not someone who claims to be "Christian." (Putin stole $100 million in oil revenue in '90s allotted for St Petersburg people when they needed food after the collapse of the Soviet Union)
Horrible place, horrible cars. Gail shuts your car off for no reason, she sits there and calls me about where I’m at, as if she’s looking at the gps like I’m her child then shuts the car off. Only other option Gail leaves you is to file a civil suit again Boyers because she won’t let anyone speak to her manager. Do not buy from here, your car will get shut off for absolutely no reason. Not to mention Gail just hung up the phone on my after I asked to speak to her manager. But I am glad to see the other reviews and see I’m not the only one to go through it with miserable Gail
The office staff consists of nasty women that have no business sense! The owner probably has no idea how they are running his business. Turning off a vehicle on people that took it out of state while leasing it completely unaware that they were not able to do that. Apparently in the fine print of a contract. No warning given. No sympathy during the holidays and the pandemic. Shame on them for running a business like this, Going to tell everyone i know about this!
I've recently gang business West Boyer's Motors and I have to say it was a pleasant experience a smooth transition and I was 100% satisfied with the outcome. Two thumbs up to this establishment
Horrible place to do business. They act like they're on your side and screw you at the first chance they get. Also don't believe their lies about buying a car from them helping your credit score. They never report your payments, con artist all of them especially the manager.
Me and my wife bought a 2003 chevy impala last week from boyer motor co. I told them all 4 tires are bald they did not care they said they passed inspection. You take a penny and check the tread and there is not. All 4 tires wore uneven becausr allignment is off. When my wife also hits the gas it does not go anywhere. Edmunds and Kelly blue book said that it was a sure sign the transmission was slipping and going to go out. There website says about treating others as they want to be treated and saying they stand for biblical ethics. Obviously not. Then they said just bring the car back. I said no. My wife likes the car but obviously things have not changed at boyer motor co. I bought a 97 saturn in 2010 there and a week later a transmissiom solenoid went out. Chip Boyer repaired it after days and weeks of complaining. Then a lot more went wrong with it before the warranty was up and he said he was done repairing it. I thought because that sheister chip boyer was gone from the business id give them a second chance and there back to there old games of everythings fine. Never trust a mechanic at a buy here pay here or any place your buying a car because the mechanics are paid to say theres nothing wrong with the car no matter what you know is wrong with it because its all about the sale. They do enough to them to make them sound alright then a couple hundred miles later you find out all they covered up! Please people becareful out there buying used cars. Most of the used car dealers are not trustworthy even if you have a warranty. Our warranty says first 3000 miles or 3 months whatevever comes first. It also says all parts all service is covered. Fraud!
This place is a freaking joke. I highly recommend no one gets a vehicle from there. Just got a vehicle from there 5 months ago. Has been nothing but a damn headache!!!!! Went back to tell them we want our money back or to put us in another vehicle and they did nothing but give us a run around. Transmission problems, motor problems, over heating and other problems.
Nice selection, friendly enough staff. Fair pricing if you don't have great credit. They lojack the vehicles, so make sure you pay or they will tow it and keep your belongings until you make a payment.
Tried to purchase a vehicle here and it was like my money wasn't good enough. Went to memory lane and got a car there instead. Never judge a book by it's cover right?
Good place to get a "rent to own" car if you can't qualify for a loan, but you have a steady income. The selection was okay, but the employees were awesome and very helpful.
