I have been using Wolfe Automotive for my 2004 Volvo v70 for several years now. They are extremely thorough whenever you bring you car in for service. Their prices are very fair and they are very honest when it comes to telling you additional things that need services on your car. They do not try to upsell additional service, they are very upfront with the criticality of the item as well as the cost.
I can't recommend Wolfe Automotive enough, as long as there is a Volvo in our family, it will be serviced here!
Happy to have this fantastic Volvo Specialist shop in Malvern, PA. Neal and the team are knowledgeable and genuinely focused on the care of the 19 year old "Lucy" XC70 I purchased here in 2021 and have had serviced here ever since. 212,000 miles and it runs perfectly. When something goes wrong (let's be real, a 19 year old car with 200,000 miles is going to need a little love every now and again) their prices are well below the dealer rates ...but I still have the benefit of working with Volvo master mechanics. All the benefits of a dealership except excellent deals on their inventory of 2nd hand parts (they always specify) and very fair labor costs. One such repair with a used part failed shortly after the fix and despite having no warranty on used parts, they STILL took care of me. Customer for life.
Good customer service, even better mechanics. I exclusively bring my 09 Volvo S80 here since moving back to PA. I tried a few other places, but since I found this place, no other mechanics can touch my Volvo but Neal and his staff. Highly recommend.
I am writing this to correct a great review I wrote several years ago. My husband and I have driven used Volvos for 40 years, and have always had good luck with them, except for the one we purchased in May 2016 from Wolfe Auto. It is a lemon. It is by far the worst used car we have ever purchased. The first week the oil seals broke and left my husband stranded on I-95. We should have taken this as an omen because we have had nothing but trouble with this car. We have had to replace everything from the horn, the coils, the transmission, the electronic dashboard, the transfer case, and everything inbetween! The car is a nightmare, constantly in the garage, and my mechanic has cautioned me not to drive it more than 5 miles from home. Our experience with the car we purchased from Wolfe Auto is so bad, when it came time to replace our other car, we did not go back to them. We went to another dealer, and got a used Volvo that has performed without fail for 3 years. We have had more mechanical difficulty with the car we purchased from Wolfe than all our other used Volvos combined over 40 years. I feel in good conscience I had to correct my great review below because I would never go back to them again, nor could I recommend them to anyone.
I think your response to this ignores everything I wrote - the most important points are this - we had serious mechanical issues with the car we purchased from you from the very first week we purchased the car. They continued every month of every year we owned it. Second - we have bought many used Volvos from other, reputable dealers and have had only minor issues over the years with repairs. You sold us a lemon. I have to tell the truth.
So happy to have found this place after buying a used car on Craigslist... I wish I had bought from Wolfe to begin with, but they bailed me out over and over with this 2005 200k+ miles car and turned the experience into a pretty good one. Great staff and great service. They are the reason to own a Volvo.
Very disappointed. Took my car there was told my fan was broke and would be replaced only to find that when they spoke to my husband they didn't replace the fan they replace a part in the fan. Then left the tire service repair warning on without notifying me my car tire sensor needs to be replaced. When I questioned them they wanted me to drive back one hour for them to replace the sensor and they just had the car for 2 days. Horrible. No where to sit and wait for your car. Never has a rental available. Never again.
I purchased a used Volvo a couple of months ago from Wolfe and have nothing but good things to say about my entire experience. Prior to buying my used car I did a lot of research with other dealers and felt extremely comfortable buying from Wolfe. When I contacted them, and met with the team, I knew I made the right decision. If you have a Volvo I'd highly recommend taking it to Wolfe to have it serviced. Great communication, great turnaround time for service work (only an oil change so far) and just a great team to have working on your Volvo.
Excellent service! Very thorough diagnostics which saved me from what I thought would be an expensive a/c issue. In addition to the great prices and free loaner car, they are very pleasant to work with. Top notch!
