They wanted to charge me almost 600 dollars for an exhaust gasket.... that wasnt including the price of the installation. I feel betrayed. They have done me right in the past. Not this time.
Went to Gallagher’s early in the morning, unscheduled, for help with a tire issue. Not only did they make time to help me on the spot, but they also charged me a very fair price when they easily could have price gouged me. I was in and out within a half hour. These folks are great.

Car was serviced & ready for pick up 15 minutes early. Definitely recommend. They answer the phone, but if you happen to get their voicemail your call is returned immediately.
My battery died and they came to my house and jumped my car, took it in and replaced the battery quickly. The mechanic was very helpful too. Thanks for the great service! I’ll be back!!
Wonderful, amazing and understanding staff. I was in a serious fix on a long journey and many of the auto shops in the area were busy, including gallagher's, but they agreed to see me and performed high quality, timely repairs for a super reasonable price! They could easily have turned me away and I couldn't have blamed them, but they were so accommodating and friendly and fixed my car in no time! I cannot recommend Gallagher's enough to anyone. Please go here and spend your money!!!!

Honest and trustworthy! I went to two places to fix my car--no one could do it. Gallagher's fixed it right the first time and quickly! On top of that, they professionally dealt with my insurer which was extra work for them! Thanks so much! 10/10 would recommend!

This was my first time going to Gallagher's auto service. My expectations were exceeded. Made me feel like I was a regular customer. Bill is the epitome of what customer service should be. Definitely coming back. And I'm almost 45 minutes away.
BEST and most HONEST mechanic I have ever dealt with. Very fair pricing. Wonderful service. Best at figuring out what is wrong. This was the third mechanic I took my car to. Nobody could figure out what was wrong with it. Mineke in Paoli tried fixing it once and the proplem came right back. Then they kept it for over a month trying to figure out what was wrong with it. They ended up charging me $250 just for trying to figure it out and returned the car the same as I have it to them. It broke down 11 minutes from that shop and I towed it to a different mechanic. They didn't figure it out so they returned it to me at no cost for diagnostics. The owner of this shop, Mr.Gallagher, figured it out in two days then charged me a reasonable price to fix it. Thanks be to God! As long as Gallagher's stays open I will be a faithful customer!
I have been using Gallagher's for about 4 years and throughout that time I've consistently received great service and communication from all the staff. Definitely a trust worthy shop, that I truly recommend.
My experience was great my jaguar xf needed a water pump crossover pipe & battery mainline land rover & land rover of west Chester gave me two different quotes & both were truly unreasonable. I took my car to Gallagher's the owner bill was great helpful and understanding of my situation so i would recommend everyone go see him if you have a problem with your vehicle

Exceptional service from a great, honest team. Bill Gallagher is a pleasure to work with and takes great pride in providing the best service and excellent communication. Have used Gallaghers's for multiple services, like oil change, brake fluid, oil housing gasket leak and engine fluid - everything has turned out great.
I left my car for them to change the brakes... thought was a good price to pay $450 for break pads and rotors sercice... when they put a really bad quality break pads, only last 10,000 miles on my car when the noise of metal to metal friction started... they charge too much money for bad quality product, at least they would told me what I was getting... will never go back there neither recommend to friends or family, total reap off mechanic shop.. dont go there.

Took a car in for rattling noise on the left side. 5 minutes and $25 later, they told me my axle was bad and quoted me $300 to fix it. I told them that the axle was replaced 5k miles ago and they ignored what I said. Took it to another mechanic who spent more time on the car and showed me that the problem was not the axle but in fact a broken strut mount. Replaced the bad strut and the problem went away.
Get a second opinion, I almost wasted $300 to "fix" something that wasn't broken in the end to see my issue would have still existed.
Our experience with Gallagher's service was outstanding! Bill was very professional and treated us with the utmost respect. We have found their prices to be reasonable and we are very satisfied with their work.
We will be going back to Gallagher's from now on and we will recommend their services to others.

Quality work, honest, and a fair price. If you don't want to be concerned about being raked over the coals or having unnecessary work done, look no further than Gallagher's.
I took my Mercury Mountaineer in for service. There had been a rumbling noise while accelerating. For all I knew it could have needed a new transmission but Bill Gallagher did not try and sell me a new tranny when in fact all it needed was in fact an additive added to the fluid to help with the overdrive (a known Ford/Merc. problem.) Thank you Bill for your honesty. I trust his shop implicitly. I highly recommend his shop to anyone.
Purchased a used 2008 MB from my brother for a great price. Then I took it to the Stealer, I mean dealer. Wow! Lucked out and found Bill's shop and now bring everything to him. Excellent mechanics, MB experts (as well as other German models and many other foreign and domestic vehicles). They now service everything from my '96 Jeep Cherokee to the MB. They actually repair things instead of rip and replace. They are always upfront about pricing and will give you an honest estimate before starting the repair. Not trying to sound like a marketer for them, they're just that good. Spent many years in the industry in sales and count myself lucky for having found him. Thanks.
