I have been taking my cars to Ron for quite a few years. He is terrific. Great work, good prices. I had both mechanical and body work done. Never had an issue. I send everyone to him. I won’t go anywhere else.

Paplosky’s is an excellent automotive shop. A real hidden gem in Berks county. Ron and his crew bring decades of generational experience to the shop floor. They have bailed me out multiple times over the years with different cars and truck issues. No BS, no up sales, just get the job done. I absolutely trust them with all of my automotive needs.

The low side exterior panel passenger side of my car got badly scraped when I accidentally got too close to a decorative rock in my lawn.

Everyone at Paplosky is very helpful and helps you with all your auto needs! Highly recommended for anyone who needs to drop it or needs a lot of work for their vehicles!

I have been a long term customer for about 33 years with them. I always had good service and good communication with them , but in the last 2 years it’s just bad. the women at the front office has such a bad attitude and unknowledgeable about anything mechanic and had a attitude when I wanted to speak to a mechanic . And I had a problem with her before . She was rude and hung up on me today. I have dodge challenger srt that needed to get inspected .i put 450 miles on it since the last year they inspected it. I dropped it off and she called saying I needed a front upper ball joint and a bulb that is out in the rear. I was like wow I only put 450 miles on it . So I asked what is the estimate of the total bill she said she really wouldn’t know what the real total would be, but she told me the price of the front ball joint will be 219 and I said wow that’s little high for that ball joint .thats with install I said ? She couldn’t even give me a straight answer . She responded they only put the best ball joints on . I replied there’s all different manufacturers of ball joints some are better and I wanted a price . She had such a bad attitude when I asked that. As a customer I can ask what brand are they putting on my car. I said I would like to speak to a mechanic and is Ron there she said no he isn’t . That’s why I’m here she said so the mechanic wouldn’t have to come up here . I was like wow for a person at the front desk that don’t know anything about cars and etc and they have her waiting on customers . She then got a mechanic a scream back at him He would like to know what brand it is , he answered I said I like to put a better one on he gave me a price of 319 and it would be in until tomorrow, I said then just put the other one on . So again I asked what will the total be she said around 350-450 with the inspection so I said fine call me when it’s done .so when I picked it up the bill was 626.47 . I am a retired mechanic of 20 years .so I was a little shocked , it wasnt even close to the estimate she gave me . There’s a program that actually tells u about time it takes to do a job and gives u a figure and etc . Number 1 as u can see in the pics of all the different places u can get that ball joint and prices so times that price by .06 percent on that part and that’s what they should have charged not 219 bucks it’s not even close to 219 for that part with that price it should be the total with the part and labor installed . Not 219 just for the ball joint . for that ball joint it is actually around 30-50 dollars . They over priced that part . I’m Not happy with the part price they gave me And she never called me about the socket that was broken that he replace for 52.10 . I wish u luck Ron but I will be not returning back with any of my vehicles again .Im so disappointed. Over priced part and terrible front desk service .

This place is terrible. I hear the guy on WEEU radio and it sounded like a good place. The lady in the office is a horrible person for customer service. She smug and very unprofessional, I couldn't even explain my problem to a mechanic she wouldn't even let me see anyone. I'll never be going back there and if you do good luck

DO NOT recommend this place as of 2025…. I called to ask for an inspection, said I could be available any time this week.. she kept saying “well can you drop it off Thursday night?” So I replied “could I just bring it in in the morning?” She sternly said “no you can’t, we don’t know when we will start it” I said “okay, that’s fine, could you please give me time in which I can wait on my car. It’s our family transportation car, so I really don’t like having to drop it off and leave it and make my girlfriend come pick me up (hard to fit 2 adults and child’s car seat in a mustang)” She replied “No, we don’t let anyone wait on their car, no matter what time” I said “odd, because all the other times I’ve had my car inspected at other places they have had no problem with me waiting for an inspection. It seems real shady that you want me to leave my car with you just for an inspection (I started getting the feeling they were one of those places that will hold your car hostage for fake repairs untill you pay whatever they want).” I then said “I think I’ll just give my normal guy a call” She instantly flips her tone and screams “WELL MAYBE YOU SHOULD GIVE THAT OTHER GUY A CALL BYE” and hangs up ACCORDING TO YOUR RECENT REVIEWS, IM SURE YOU WILL SAY “Nope you never called us, we WOULD NEVER talk to someone that way” here’s your proof.. try to spin your web now… DON’T GO HERE PEOPLE

Rude people, no understanding for personal issues. Was told to find somewhere else because of a single missed appointment. They obviously don’t care about their customers even after I was there two times now with no issues.

bought a used truck here it had ' FRAME' work done so it could be resold to the public when i went to look at the truck i seen patches on the frame covered in paint and an oil rust preventer and don told me he had the bed off to fix holes in the frame that was last year i was worried about what was hiding deeper march of 2024 take my truck in for inspection and got very bad news patch work and welding is burnt crossmembers in front on the fuel tank rotted and rear shock mount just rotted off while driving i was told by mr don that i would get years of use out of the truck more like 1 year and 5 months now i need to find a frame dam shame im out thousands of dollars oh well rite life goes on

They got me in quick and fixed the issues I had with my classic car. Would definitely recommend them.

Had an excellent experience here. After going to several places and not getting an answer to what was wrong with my car. Most unethical auto repair in the county. Was quoted 1740.00 for repairs of 2 vehicles. Handed bills for for almost 2500.00 with no prior warning. Was told. Oops ..we forgot to add labor..and it took longer than we thought...what a bunch of crooks

Dave was wonderful, and I 100% recommend Paplosky's services. After a collision, I needed to get my CRV repaired. Dave managed my entire experience as a customer, even taking the time to walk me through the steps to take with Geico for reimbursment. My repairs were completed almost 2 weeks less than the quoted time (a godsend, since I'm in the middle of a home purchase) and they even diagnosed and repaired a brake issue that I had, sending me home with the old master cylinder that had recently been replaced so that I could get a warranty claim. Incredibly business, staff, and service. I will be back in the future for service on my Honda. Thanks!

This shop is 100% awesome! Mechanic Steve went way above and beyond to help me out with my Jeep. These are truly good, honest people who really care about their customers (a rare find these days). I highly recommend you use Paplowski's Auto for all your service/body shop needs. I can't say enough about how happy I am that I chanced upon them.

Asked for an estimate they said ok. Called back 2 weeks later they said it will be another day or 2 let them know I want to drive car in spring. Called back week later they tell me they cant do an estimate or fix my car they are to busy ......well that would have been nice to know 3-4 weeks ago ......10 years ago got a bad carb from them. From my last 2 experiences dont think I'll have a 3rd. Thanks but ......... No thanks .

This is a great place to get your car worked on. They are honest, upfront, knowledgeable and very friendly. I've been coming here for about a year now and they have a customer for life with me. Their prices are fair, they are upfront, and try to accommodate your needs the best they can. If you you're like me, and don't know a lot about cars and need some work done, this is the place to go.

I had Paplosky’s speed and custom prep sand clean and seal the underneath of my F 250 plow truck. It literally looks brand new underneath and makes me feel good that no more rust will be starting or getting more serious as long as I own the truck. I would recommend them to anyone!

Paploski’s turned my challenger into a fantastic high performance racing machine. Ron installed a Edelbrock supercharger and much much more. Just got my line lock installed and she’s ready to rock n roll. Thank you for transforming my car into all she can be😎👍

I went in to ask to see if they could install a backup camera, was told they wouldn't do it except at cost of $80 an hour, was told i would get info on someone who could do it and never got a call. not to mention i had the exact tonneau cover that i wanted in mind and the gentlemen at the counter would not even consider it and constantly tried to up sell into something different. just not a very good business model. had plans to have them do a lift kit and exhaust work but based of first impression i wouldn't trust this shop with my vehicle. This review is what i experience at the counter and is not any indication on the mechanics, i have yet to have any work done by them so i will stay neutral on reviewing the mechanics.

Guys are great. Dropped off my intake manifold to get an incredibly stubborn stud removed at 3pm one day, and it was done by 10am the next morning. Good group of people.
