Holy work vans! So happy I found this place! Drove over an hour from Pittsburgh to get to this place and it was well worth it!

Needed a work van and found this hidden gem. Put a down payment on a van so no one would scoop it up before I came back to buy it the next day. Chris and his father were extremely helpful and honest. If you need a work van, this is the place to go. Best vehicle I ever bought! Thanks Blackhawk!

Good Afternoon, I purposely left my comment blank at first to give you all a chance at a break. I am glad I didn’t buy the trash you sell, and greatly sorry for whoever did. ONE - Sales Tax: On April 23, 2025, I suggested he leaves the price out and your father stated, word for word, “I could always forget to fill it in,” implying that he would intentionally break the law. TWO - Inspections Required by Commonwealth of Pennsylvania § 301.2 - Advertising and Sales Presentation Requirements: Your father also mentioned that the vehicle in question had not been inspected after purchasing, which is illegal according to state code. The vehicle was in an unsafe condition; I have documented proof showing that the subframe was rusted to the point where an object could pass through it. Pennsylvania Code also requires you to disclose this information, which you failed to do. Your own website states: "Warranty and Inspection: Our cargo vans undergo thorough inspections to ensure they meet or exceed safety standards. Additionally, we often provide warranties, giving you peace of mind regarding the powertrain and overall performance of your purchase." THREE - Your Warranty: If read in fine print, your warranty is designed to deceive customers. It does not cover maintenance costs over $2,000, shops that charge over $70 an hour, pre-existing issues, blown head gaskets that only leak oil, and much more. That particular van had two blown head gaskets with a running leak, which was not disclosed (also illegal per state code). Red grease was found in the engine bay, seemingly applied to seal the leak and deceive potential buyers. This is also documented and, like many things at your dealership, violates Pennsylvania Code. FOUR - Transparency: Both you and your father demonstrated a lack of knowledge and were unable to answer most of my questions regarding the vehicle. During the test drive, the vehicle violently shook at 60 miles per hour in 5th or 6th gear. You blamed the road, even though this issue occurred throughout the entire test drive. My current vehicle has no issues driving over that same road. Your company fails to provide any basic history of the vehicles you sell. When I asked, "Where did that puddle of water come from?" your father responded, "The sky." Water was found inside the vehicle under the weather trim on the driver's side. Your own website states: "Transparent History: We provide detailed vehicle histories, so you know exactly what you are getting. Our transparency ensures you are aware of the maintenance, service records, and any other relevant information about the cargo van you're interested in." Your company also refuses to pay the $700 a year for a Carfax to obtain service records. You didn’t know when or if oil changes had been done. FIVE - Pricing and Negotiation: You never mentioned that you were holding the vehicle. I told you to sell it if someone came by. We never agreed on a price. I stated, “I would do $11,000 for sure and maybe around $12,000,” and your father wrote down $11,785. I said, “I will consider it and come back with cash in hand.” That was the only discussion we had regarding price. When I showed up with $11,500, your father flipped out, yelling at me to “read rule number one” over and over. He never attempted to negotiate. I left because, while I could have offered more money, I don’t feel that a van with a busted head gasket, violent shakes, broken mirror, dented all over, missing trim, and an unsafe rusted subframe with 200,000 miles is worth $11,700. Worrying about customers replies is the least of your worries, you’re overstocked on vehicles, becoming a burden to the neighborhood and unable to purchase new vans due to the lack of money.

These guys mostly deal with fleet owned utility vehicles. Good selection and reasonable pricing. They could use a little bit bigger lot though...a bit tight!?

I bought the cheapest 2500 van they had and it's been great. My mechanic (Zimmers service center in West Springfield) couldn't find anything wrong with the van and told me someone had put a good bit of money into it. I really enjoyed the business model of this little family run business. Dave (father) and Chris (son) are the only people that sell used work vans and trucks in a huge area.

That is correct minus a few thousand. Selling a van with a rotted frame I think would make a Customer unhappy. And of course you new nothing about it. Yes I could have checked it out, but didn’t have access to a lift and was a winter day to try and get underneath.

This business is not BBB accredited That should raise a red flag as well ! Yes I did step foot in your place of business. Also I like how you leave a review for your own business. That alone should say something.
