Cane back in the morning with a trailer, they had impounded the car. The towing place fees are exorbitant. $300+ off the top. Even though the counter is manned and they were clearly open for business, people coming in this îand out, dude said it's after 5, we charge $1 a minute for after hours. How much explanation do you need.
I would rate lower if I could… I got stuck in the awful weather and the dude on the phone promised me he would send a driver and help me. I waited 2 hours and nobody came.. mind you he also kept declining my calls when I would try to call him back for the eta or to even see if he was still coming
These guys took an extra 2 and 1/2 hours out of their lives to actually come and get my vehicle. The middle man that had been hired by the company I contracted with to give Elite a check to bring to me to purchase and retrieve my vehicle had messed up royally. These guys didn't bat an eye and got the job done.

Now for everyone that's reading my reviews you're probably asking yourself my mind his young age that seems to be a little you would be answering yourself correctly and that is indeed putting it very scarcely well I feel like placing a little bit more of a generous or right on the topic and terrorizing industry and the Ugly underbelly also known as tow truck tow truck companies here in the state of Oklahoma. They do not create residual customers however what they do create is residual disaster financed abdominal like effect of diminished credit scores that will take years to recover from and they do it all with out even an empathetic half grin in your direction. Their office doesn't even offer a small bowl of Tootsie Rolls for guests or perhaps you know bite size Butterfingers for our troubles and thousands and thousands of dollars of payments replaced on our cars only to be matched by this creature like place that only the Devil Himself probably going to sleep one night and had himself his own Nightmare and from it emerged this establishment. I had to wait three hours for a tow. When the driver arrived, he didn’t want to take the car to my preferred mechanic. He said he knew a better mechanic. I stood my ground. Then he wanted to be paid in cash. I said I didn’t have cash. He wanted to stop at an ATM. I said no. The driver refused to accept a credit card, so I said I would pay by check. He insisted that I make the check out to cash. I did it because I felt bullied and wanted to get away from him.
Ricky showed up in no time. He was very nice and did exactly what was asked. He also let me know I had a broke differential. Will definitely use again.
Car was towed here after a wreck, the actual tow drivers were friendly. But when we went to clean it out at this location, we were told it wasn't there. The man was pretty adamant that they never received it and couldn't find paperwork on it.Then after confirming it with another employee that it was indeed there, then he couldn't find the keys. He was very rude and treated us like we didn't know what we were talking about. If I had a choice, I would have never used them to tow.
Never called them. But won't after their driver tail gated me close enough to not see their lights. Should be fired. If i had to brake for any reason 100% would have hit me almost immediately all because their driver wanted to speed TO A RED LIGHT to get their to wait first. Real smart. Two Elite/Cowpokes Wrecker flatbed trucks were speeding excessively, tailgating cars, and cutting people off around 7:45 this morning (5/3/21) on I-40 East between I-235 and the I-35/I-40 Junction. They were driving very dangerously and forced several drivers to swerve out of their way.
Cowpokes, or rather Cowjokes is now Elite Towing, but to be the best if the best you have to treat the people that represent you better than the rats in your basement. Puckett's, AAAA, Car Cab, Arrow, these are the best if the best in Oklahoma. Cowjokes should have changed their name to Cowardous Lying Thieves Wrecker Service. Because that's who they are
I got into a wreck on December 5th 2018, and cowpoke's unfortunately was the place that was called to tow my vehicle. Just when I thought that I couldn't have been put in a worse situation than what I was already in, this wrecker Service just so happened to waltz into my life.. So while State Farm was determining whether they had any liability whatsoever my vehicle sat at cowpoke's for 2 weeks. So at $20 a day & 2 weeks at that point you can do the math. Then they paid the bill for the tow on December 13th, and while cowpokes had my information and could have given me a call, they never did.. i didn't find out until 8 days later when I called State Farm to find out what was going on with my claim and hat was taking so long, and that's when State Farm told me. So I just picked up my vehicle, and cowpokes was wanting to charge me $127.50 to tow the vehicle literally less than an eighth of a mile from where it was sitting at their lot. So I called American wrecker and they charged me $70 to move it an eighth of a mile. These people will bend you over backwards and then send you back up again and do it all over again. They are unworkable, and a bunch of crooked and sorry excuses for men. when I asked them if they would work with me on the storage fees knowing all of the things that had happened Trevor told me that it was a state mandated fee. Which I replied and told them no it's not, and then that's when he decided to tell me that he couldn't do it just because essentially he didn't want to do it . They have about a million old cool cars sitting on their loss but because of refusal to take care of them, every single one of them is junk..So moral of the story do not ever ever ever ever use this wrecker service call American towing.
Not a company with class.I witnessed treatment of employee nothing short of embarrassing and degrading. I will not do business with a establishment that treats the people who keep them in business like dogs.
Don't call for information on your car because it's a hugere problem for them to their job. Do these people work for free became they're rude. I wish I would ha e had my care towed somewhere else I didn't even get any useful information it was hard enough for him to tell me where the yard was located. Disgusted.
Selling used vehicles that they lawfully pick up and store at a good price. They said it would take a couple of days to get the title. Well it's been a while longer than a couple of days😡

If a negative star review is possible this place would need -5⭐. The worst customer service I've received. Had a vehicle moved from an auto shop to a transmission shop. What started out as minor damage on with passenger side of the front and back bumper is now wheel well covers hanging off, lights now sit crooked in the back, and white paint scrap marks. Because the driver documented the minor damage it now means they are off the hook for the additional damage they caused. Consumers beware stay as far away from this place as possible. They definitely know how to screw the customer and avoid responsibility.
Horrible service. I wouldn’t use this wrecker service unless you want a damaged car that’s no ones fault. This wrecker picked up my car from one shop and transported it to another and managed to damage 3 corners of my vehicle but won’t take any responsibility for it. I’m being told that because the 2nd shop signed off on the paperwork it’s their fault even though the driver notated the damaged. This company is just as crappy as the name. Yes cow pokes will clearly poke your car leaving damage for you to take care of. Tony the owner is also the most unprofessional small business owner I have ever met. The reviews left are true and shouldn’t be ignored!

Didn't check for loose parts of a car they were towing. A piece of something flew off of it and shattered a glass panel on the roof of my car. Two inches lower and it would have gone through my windshield.
Called for rates and spoke with a Tony. Very unprofessional and dry personality. I was confused if I was even actually speaking with a company, so I asked, Is this Cow Pokes Wrecker Service? He said, "Yes it is!" Well I need your towing rates for two vehicles I need moved. I've called a couple of other companies in the area and I'm trying to decide who to go with. He told me the 1st vehicle hook up is $112.50 & the 2nd vehicle is $50 if they both can go in one tow. If I can't get both in one tow. In other words. My 2002 Chevy Silverado on the flatbed/rollback and my 2005 Ford Taurus on the tow hitch then there will be an additional $112.50 instead of the $50 charge. I stopped him right there so not to waste his time or mine anylonger. I told him, "Your prices are double everyone else's Thanks anyways & Have a good day." This company must use professional athletes and platinum hookup cables, chains and hooks to ask for these prices. No thanks!
My truck had to be towed 11 miles. They charged $300.00... it's my fault for trusting people to be honest. But hopefully this will help others to avoid this service company.
Great Service! I received a phone call in advance so I knew when they would be here, and Ryan was here exactly on time when he said he would be. Took a little extra work to get the car out of the driveway and to him it was nothing. Cool, friendly driver that helped me in what needed to be done, and also with exceptional service! 5 stars!
Called for a tow. After driver got there I asked for an approximate quote, I got one and said ok. The tow was 1 mile and the price was $46 more than the quote. Talked to owner Tony, he blew me off and said I didn't understand the driver. Poorest handling of a complaint. I'd never recommend them or use them again.
Make sure they are charging you the right amount according to Ok law. They charged me fees that they shouldn't have. They were also very rude. I have opened a case with the DPS wrecker services division about them and they are under investigation.
