We cannot recommend these guys highly enough! They are prompt, courteous, professional, well-priced, and do outstanding work! We purchased a building that had squatters for years. If we had done the clean out ourselves, it would have taken us a week. They got us done in one day and did a much better job than we would have!
I contacted nine junk removal services in the area. Four responded to my inquiry, with City Pride responding nearly immediately after my message. I am not in Ohio and was looking for estimates based on pictures; two companies were unwilling to give one, and one gave me a quote three times that of City Pride's estimate, so my choice was pretty obvious. The crew was able to schedule me pretty much immediately, came on time, the quote they gave me on-location was the same as what they'd estimated from the pictures, cleaned out the entire apartment in fewer than 45 minutes, and sent me pictures showing that they'd done a wonderful job. All my communications with them were easy, respectful, and professional. Highly recommend this service for your junk removal needs.
Phenomenal service! Arrived on time even though it was snowing. Service was professional and efficient. There was only one working elevator and they still managed to get everything out quickly with no damages. Reasonably priced and the quote given was very close to the actual amount. Very very happy with the junk removal. Highly recommend, if I wasn't moving out of state I'd use them again. 10/10!
These guys were great! They arrived on the early side of their time window, they were professional & courteous, and they were in and out with a substantial amount of awkward & heavy furniture very quickly without leaving so much as a tiny scratch on the walls or door frame. All for a very reasonable price.

Sorry in advance for the length but just want to share my experience with City Pride…
We had just moved into a home we purchased after relocating my husband from Maryland to Ohio due to a brain cancer diagnosis. We had ordered some new living room furniture when we realized the previous owners left theirs in the home. Kinda rude I know but, here we are!
I called to get quotes from a few different companies to remove 2 couches and was having a difficult time since we got the surprise call that our new furniture was on the way, 2 days earlier than planned!
When I called City Pride, they were totally booked for the week but after going through this debacle the gentleman (God I wish I remembered his name I want to say Stacy (sp)) but he was WONDERFUL!!
He somehow got me squeezed in for the SAME DAY! I know that is not the norm but somehow he did it.
Now let’s get to the actual appointment….

They were very observant of my home and belongings - my neighbor was there since I had to leave unexpectedly - she even said that when she needs removal she wanted to use these guys!

Needed a hot tub removed from the house. Communication was responsive. They provided an expected cost and set up a time (same week). They showed up on time, including a half-hour heads up text message. No surprises on service or price. This is how it should be with any service. Thanks!
Three things that really stand out to me about City Pride Hauling and Junk Removal.
One - I called on a Saturday and they answered, we set up a consultation for an estimate for Monday between 1pm and 3pm. I was advised I would get a half hour notice when they were on the way.
Two - As promised I was texted within the time frame given. It was even on the earlier side even though I was given a three hour window. We walked the site, I was quoted a an extremely fair price and booked the job for the upcoming Thursday.
Three - The crew showed up as planned in the time frame given. They knocked it out of the park, and did a fantastic job. I couldn't have asked for better service.
From answering my call on Saturday 11/6, to quoting me on Monday 11/8, to having the job completed Thursday 11/11 is absolutely awesome.

Once they removed one piece of junk I would find another!). Cannot thank them enough for making our new house clean!

I was very impressed how quickly I had a response and pick up time. They came out the very next day and removed two dryers that had been taking up valuable basement space. I highly reccommend if, like me, you do not have a truck to haul away large items on your own. They were professional, fast, and right on time! I'm already planning on calling them in the spring when we do some home demo and will need things hauled away.
