They have so many trucks here in the back it is insane. I've been here 3x now with very odd requests and they've been great. They wouldn't let me drive to view the parts of the trucks in the back which was frustrating if it takes so long to get there.
Based on my experience with the guy in-charge of the yard, he's friendly, because I wasn't sure of the radiator I bought from them he allowed me to swap it, usually they don't accept returns.
DONT BUY FROM THIS PLACE.
Bought a detroit 12.7 . My mechanic took ecm to a detroit dealer could only pull hours also ecm was trash. The hours were like 22k plus . With just hours puts motor around 1 million miles. Paid $7950.00 for motor now having it rebuilt. DONT BUY A MOTOR FROM THIS COMPANY. They also will not get back to you.

Wow. Really bad experience. Engine was represented as GOOD Condition, ECM showing a little over 80k mileage. Shipping was a disaster. They used a company that couldn't deliver to the shipping address. Victoria did try to help with that, but we ended up providing a solution and receiving the engine after almost 2 wks. Then the engine was a mess. Our mechanic said there is no way this engine has only 80k miles. Its going to end up costing us more than double what we thought because everything leaks, is rusted, or so gunked up. Sent pics and an email, then our OPS guy called and spoke to Billy. Basically got sorry your bad luck. Never again. We are stuck with a piece of trash. And Adelmans doesn't care.
I bought 24 engines, Isuzu 6UZ1, must turn 360 degrees, thats what they told me. The owner and his son. I sent the money in full. When I went there to pickup these engines, I was surprised because 16 of them are not turning, so I asked to take just the 8 engines that turn and refund the money for the other 16 engines. They told me to get out from our place or we will call the police also, they said to send a truck to pickup these engines, you have 1 month or we will take the engines and the money. This is the first time I met bad people like this. Never buy from these guys or make any deals with them. I mean just the owner Carol and his son Jordan, they are liars , cheaters , disrespectful, and they do wrong to get money , the employees are good but they will get fired if they don’t side with the boss (Carol and Jordan, the son) the employees tried to help me and they don’t support what their boss is doing, along with his son. I saw that in their faces. After I got kicked out, I called people to help me, and to protect me from these cheaters, they called them and talked with them, and told them about how this is not the right way to sell engines like that, after hearing this, Carol promised to adjust the engines so they would turn, and they said they fixed the problem, so when I sent my truck to pickup the engine, so I can take it to Adelman’s in Chicago (his eldest son’s place), they lied, they did not even try to fix the engines, that what we got when these engines arrived in Chicago. Adelman’s trucks parts.in Chicago IL is different friendly and honest people why because Aaron controls this place 100 percent
I bought a Kubota V3800-CR-T engine from this company. It was supposed to be a good running tested engine. When we installed it it had awful blowby. We found a melted piston. So far nobody has helped me out at all. Let the buyer beware.
Bought a 7.8 ford engine from these folks. I was extremely impressed with thier professionalism and organization. They will be my go to for parts from now on.
Do not buy anything from this company, they do not keep their word . purchase a transmission from them and ordered the wrong one in error, they refuse to give a refund even though their paperwork stated it was returnable with a 20% restocking fee, and the replacement transmission that they sent was used and beat. It took three weeks for them to ship the other transmission and then they lied and only gave back half of what they promised her a cash refund. Do not use them, absolute skumbags.
Paid $1,500 for a rust free cab never finished the truck so decided to call them to see if they were interested in the truck I spoke with Jordan and he said we would buy it for $2,000 and I told him I would think about it he told me to call back if I wanted to let it go for $2,000, So I thought about it and called back just for them to tell me they didn't want to buy it typical .

8/22 Luke is the man! From the first time I’ve been there 2 years ago, he’s always helped me out. Showed me around, and checked up on me every 15 minutes or so. Made sure I was ok, brought me water, and offered help. Every time I need to go to Adelman’s, I always know that Luke will take care of me. Thanks man
Great place very good pricing my family only started doing business with them recently but for sure we're not stopping anytime soon. Jordan is always very nice and take care of us. Done about around 5 full loads of engines(14 engine per load) with them already. Always fast getting our items ready for shipment.
They shipped a engine to me it got damaged they told me to accept it and they would file a insurance on damages been since June the trucking company blames them they blame the trucking company neither one is paying for damages I’m out about 2k I would not trust them to buy anything thing shady company
Top notch customer service, they showed me a selection of 3126's, I picked one out, they test ran it, I bought it and they loaded it up. Great prices and a wide selection of heavy duty parts.

Purchased a Perkins Engine. Motor came complete with everything. It was at a great price and worth the drive. Bill took care of us with excellent customer service. They test ran the motor to show us oil pressure and condition. Highly recommend them.
When delivering in a big truck, it's not that truck friendly but workable. Be sure not to pass the driveway. Go in at the opposite of the trucks for sale lot!
This place has everything you need from small interior cab parts to complete engines and drivetrain components all at fair prices. The staff is very friendly and easy to deal with. If you get a chance, try to work with Jordan Adelman, very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. I'll definitely be coming back in the future.
This is one of the most unethical companies I have ever dealt with. They will lie and cheat you without thinking twice. We are a dealership and out of necessity have dealt with them several times and every time it's the same. The latest was on a set of rear ends they quoted us 2500.00 on and when we arrived the price is now 2950.00. If you can help it NEVER deal with this company. Sincerly,
