The customer service I recieved was fine, however earlier today I witnessed the manager Carla yelling at an associate in front of customers. while I don’t exactly know what happened, I personally work in retail and am a manager myself. I just gotta say, nothing is ever so serious that it requires embarassing another person in front of customers. Also, if that’s how you treat your staff, how do you treat your customers?

My family had a horrible experience at this location on 9/3/25 around 5 pm. We were waiting for our pizza order from little Ceasars ( in the same plaza) My daughter had recently gotten her first car and she wanted to buy a few accessories for it. My daughter and her friends walked into the store maybe 1 minute before my husband and I. I heard the manager ( I assume he had on a gray shirt) talking to two other staff members (they had red shirts) making inappropriate sexual comments about the underage girls. I told my family I wanted to leave and anything they wanted we could buy somewhere else. As we walked out the manager (gray shirt) asked why we were leaving i told him I heard what he said and thought is was not only disgusting but very disrespectful. The manager then followed us outside yelling at us saying we misheard him and we were wrong. We walked to the other end of the plaza and came back around to get our pizza order. The manager was still outside on the phone my husband went up the door to get a phone number to contact corporate. The manager asked my husband what he was doing. My husband told him the manager said dont worry about telling anyone. My boss already knows about this situation cause im on the phone with him now. My husband said your boss is ok woth you talking to customers like this? You should be in trouble or lose your job. The manager then threw his name tag on the ground pulled off his belt and said I dont care about this job ill find another one along with several obscenities acting like he was ready to fight.

manager was very unprofessional and made a sexual comment towards me and my underage friends. when confronted he got angry and yelled in store and outside.

Been using this store (and the Chardon location) for years. Great service and nearly always have the parts I need in stock.

The Manager should have called me last night to let me know if my parts came in or did not come in. The manager never took the responsibility to call me back and tell me what's going on with my parts. That's not good thing for people just sing it all day and wait for people to call them back. It's not good enough business. Don't think I'm coming back

Manager lady working 10-18-2024 at 6:30 worried about mopping and taking trash out rather then let employee finish helping very rude to employee in front of customer and still open till 9:00! Needless to say i left and went across street to advance auto and got helped she needs fired or demoted to learn how treat workers and employees

I usually don’t leave reviews but my experience at this Autozone was great! The employee helped me with my windshield wipers and changed them in the pouring rain when she didn’t have to! I really appreciated the excellent customer service! ☺️

Benjamin is the guy to go too. He's professional smart and really does care about his customers getting back on the road. He's the only guy I deal with for the last 10 yrs. He has never giving me the wrong part ever.. wherever he goes I'm gonna follow. I've been doing so from Geneva to painesville and probably gonna be mentor as well. Great guy good spirit and excellent leader.

Went to get a light bulb for my van's turn signal and it was such a great experience! The woman who helped me also installed it for me! She saw something hanging under my van and secured it temporarily for me as well!

I had no problem finding them and no problem at all finding what I was looking for. A very nice sales associate took me right away at the register, and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes.

I needed a battery replaced and they replaced it for me. Only one guy in the store was able to do the actual replacement though, and he was backed up. I'm not sure why they don't have more people who can help in this way. Anyway, he did a great job and I appreciate it!!

Jesse and Jennifer demonstrated great customer service skills and were very helpful over the phone and when I arrived at the store at the Painesville City location, they both kept a smile on their faces and went above and beyond to help me. I am a satisfied customer and would recommend Auto Zone Auto Parts Store to anyone. 😊

I went there for new wiper blades & Julie was incredibly helpful! She helped me figure out the size I needed & which ones would be best for winter conditions and then she installed them for me. Great service!

Very helpful employees. We stopped to drop off old motor oil, which they accept/recycle for free. We've been there for many other issues in the past, and they are usually quite friendly.

Amazing service, Jason is the man. Replaced the battery on a diesel saw on my trailer in the parking lot, saved the day. Tested the alternator as well.

Great store, they greeted me as soon as I came in and helped me get exactly what I needed. Aiden could not have been nicer and he even offered to carry the heavy boxes to my car :)

This location totally sucks. I've had them order parts for next day pick upa few times. Always get the same answer when I call to see if their in. Oh it looks like who ever you talked to forgot to order it. I will never set foot in this place. Off to NAPA. Pay a little more, But when they say that they are going to order a part. It's there when I need it

I stopped in, needing new wipers after the heavy snow and ice, and while none of the other workers in there offered to helped me, one worker named Matt I believe helped pick out the right wipers I needed, not too expensive and perfect for the winter weather, and then enthusiastically put them on my van for me. Hope that dude gets promoted, he really knows how to handle a customer

Store # 1733in Painesville, have employees not very friendly, Asked couple questions and the guy answered in a very rude manner. Is not the first time that happening to me. I will stop purchasing my vehicles parts there and take my business somewhere else. That is one of the reasons people prefer buying online, because those jerks.

I purchased a new battery and the 2 ladies (1 had to hold up the hood of my car) who installed it were fantastic! I wish I could remember their names. The price of the battery was very good and having a coupon was a bonus.

I needed an alternator check and new battery put into my old car. The guy who helped me was great! Sadly, I can't remember his name but he had awesome star wars tattoos on his arms. He was kind, informative, and didn't seem to mind me watching and asking questions. (I just want to know about everything, how things work.) He showed me some damage that will need some parts replaced in the near future and gave me the name of a shop he takes his own car to for big things. I really appreciated that. My only downside was the sticker shock for the cost of the battery. It's gone up a bit since the last time I bought one! Lol. Great service though.

I searched front rotors on your site along with brake pads. I purchase them and pick up and get them home they are wrong. Why are rear rotors (in fine print) showing on a front rotor search? When I bring back she can’t just exchange them. She returns them and charges me all over again for the new. It’s 2022 how can a store not do an exchange. Finally I got a bundle rate on pads and rotors, so I had to buy a 2nd set of pads to get the discount and then return them. On a side note I asked if the store carried something else I needed. Instead of showing me where it is, she points in a direction and I could not find it. I typically do not shop auto zone but did this time for the bundle rate… but service was simply lacking. This was the Painesville store on Saturday 4/23/22 in the early afternoon.

I would like to say thank you to the young gal name Gina at the painesville store she was a big help to me yesterday. I bought a cellphone holder and she even put it together for me and came out to my car and put it where it belonged very very helpful did a great job .

Was there yesterday with a battery that needed tested. Battery was still under warranty and was told by two employees that if it was bad we would be refunded balance of warranty and core charge as we no longer needed the battery. So, it was bad and now they say no refund just credit towards the purchase of a new battery which we do not need. Maybe they should get their stories straight or train their employees better.

The lady at the counter was very polite and very well educated. She helped me locate everything I needed in the store. We are a landscape company with a lot of trucks and had a long list of items to purchase. She helped me find all of them and made educated suggestions on which products were the best. We have Hispanic workers on our crews, and it turns out that Heidi is bi-lingual and fluent in both English and Spanish. She helped one of our Hispanic crew workers locate parts he needed for one of his vehicles while we were there as well. Filegonio and I could not have been more satisfied with her customer service skills, and overall knowledge of parts. Very impressive. I would recommend seeing her first if you visit this store.
