Only car repair place I've ever been to where they were willing to DOWN sell me! Came in after being told by a chain place that I needed my tie rods and tire bolts replaced in order to be able to do an alignment. Was told that neither the tie rods nor the tire bolts needed replaced, and they offered to just do the alignment there instead. The price was also cheaper than the quote from the previous place. Not once did they try to upsell me on other repairs (and I know of a couple off the top of my head that would be an easy mark), nothing but honesty and good work. They will have my business again in the future, highly recommend!

I’ve been a customer for over 5 years and the new owner is horrible. I’ve had an appointment for 3 weeks and I dropped my car off and went back to get it at the end of the day and it was not even done. The manager said oh well you can come back Monday. I said I’ve had an appointment for 3 weeks and you will never have my business again. Come to find out they take walk ins and ignore their dedicated customers. Jeff the previous owner was fantastic and honest. I would never bring any cars there now.

Called about having a silly issue with my car. They told me to come on down and were able to gotake care of it right away. Very straight forward, informative, and generous. Highly recommended.

I used to live in the area and don't know why I never left a review. I went to Sextons for almost 8 years, even after moving out of Fairborn to a neighboring city. They worked on multiple vehicles and were fair, honest, and kind. Even when I asked stupid questions, they explained everything for me. They didn't run into anything they couldn't fix. And they would tell you when the repair was worth more than the car. Though I've moved out of state I still recommend them to anyone living there.

A different shop referred me to Sexton’s for a ring and pinion installation. I am thankful to have the opportunity to work with them and I have added Sexton’s in my phone contact list.

I'm newer to the area and always dread trying to find a good mechanic. I noticed a Facebook thread asking for mechanic recommendations and Sexton's kept showing up in the comments so I filed that away in my memory and the next time I needed work done I took a deep breath and made the call to Sexton's. Well I've found my shop. They got me in quickly, the work was done lightning fast, everything is in great shape, the pricing was honest and beyond fair, the notes and charges on the invoice are in plain non-confusing English with no pushiness or judgements for recommendations for additional work needed, just a heads up. I'm so relieved. Heather was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable and gave me great vibes immediately. Just an overall great experience. I don't do reviews often but if you're stressing over finding a shop to take your car you can relax, you found the right one with Sexton's.

I used this company based off of community recommendations and was not disappointed. Not only did they diagnose my car, but fixed it quickly with not over charging an arm and a leg. Highly recommend.

I never had issues with Sextons Automotive but recently I got my two front brake lines replaced and they didn't bleed my brakes completely. I was literally flooring my brakes after this repair (SUPER DANGEROUS) then had the b*lls to tell me it was normal. I also was able to notice that my brake lines was put on incorrectly. I just want to warn people to be careful because whoever was working on my car DID ME BAD!

Fair pricing, timely completion of work. Mr. Sexton is upfront and fair. Heather is awesome. I would highly recommend for your automotive repair needs.

First of all let me say I have had my vehicle for 20 years, and I am very very picky about people 'touching my truck'.... I usually do the work myself. However since my oxygen sensors were replaced a year ago by Jeff Sexton I have used his shop for many many repairs since and I am extremely happy with the speed of work and quality of work. I love the fact he’ll install my previously purchased parts also. Granted, there is no warranty with them but it saves me a few dollars. Besides, some parts don't need warranties. I highly recommend using Sextons Automotive for the smallest of jobs to the costly ones and you will not be disappointed.! ?

This place was great. I scheduled online through thier website and got a call from then in less than 24 hours. Was able to easily drop off my car in the moring because I have work. They called me a few times throughout the day to ask me about the car, let me know what they are working on and what they have found needed fixed, and gave estimates. My car was ready to be picked up at the end of the day. When I went into pay their estimate matched up with what I paid, no surprise fees. Came out with a check engine light free car that runs smoother for a reasonable price. Under $500 to get my front break lines replaced and MAF sensor replaced, including labor cost and taxes. They also gave me 28k mile warranty on anything they had replaced. Will definitely return here next time I need work done!

I went in today to get my tire plugged up as it got a nail in it. Not only were they super fast about it, my tire so far works really well! The lady at the front desk was super nice while I waited, we had really nice conversations. I was going to thank the other for fixing it, but he looked super busy working with other cars as well. But I think I might come back again. They seem very nice and trustworthy. I definitely would recommend coming here.

Terrible customer service . And if they ever refer you to Performance Clinic for any services that they (Sexton's) either can't do or don't want to touch, DO NOT USE THEM EITHER. They cost me an extra $2000 to correct some work they did. Stay away from both shops.

I love going here! I am a college student and the mechanic always works with me on prices. They also give you the real raw information about what's going on with your car. The prices are affordable and I just save enough up to get the things done and out of the way. I have 3 more issues to get fixed and my car will be good to go! Thank you for rescheduling me and understanding that people have lives and still was professional even when I had to reschedule.

I will never take my car anywhere else. After 1 mechanic told me that nothing was wrong with my car but a loose wire and another telling me I had over $4000 worth of repair work, I took my car to Sextons and am extremely pleased. They were very professional, honest, knowledgeable and thorough. They fixed everything that was wrong for only a fraction of what I was being quoted and my car is riding like it was when I first took it off the lot!

Having an emergency auto repair Mr. Sexton worked me in his schedule the same day so that I would have my car for work the next day! Polite and Professional service they just gained a new customer! Thank you Sexton's Automotive!

My Subaru had a shot transmission that needed to be replaced and Jeff Sexton did all the research needed to inform me that they recently extended their power train warranty. He saved me thousands of dollars in repairs and didn't even charge me. He's truly a man who cares about his community.

Asked about a Heater/AC job I needed done guy was very informative, I then asked if they could also wire in new led break lights.. made it seem like no problem and said 70-80/hr.. I said "ok, awesome! If I am going to have you do all that could you also wire in an Inverter I have." To which he replied "Yeah I'm not really trying to get into all that" and proceeded to hang up on me..? Would have just had the ac taken care of today.

Jeff and the crew are very polite and professional, I have starting taking my fleet vehicles there for service. Jeff never quotes something that doesn't need done. Very honest auto repair.

Very pleased with the two oil changes they did on my vehicles. For the first oil change (2015 Accord with synthetic oil), they made recommendations for future work, but didn't pressure me into anything. For the second (2010 Tacoma with conventional oil), they charged me a flat rate of $30 - basically the price of the oil. They also greased my squeaky clutch free of charge. Both times they made every effort to complete the job in a time frame that suited my needs. That's excellent service in my book!

Well I think they do a good job he had called and ask where i bought my car that there was alot of rust on my brakes and rotors but I thought it was a little high but i didn't get the chance to ask if they removed all the rust since it was a little costly so i hope they removed all the rust. But they do a great job, I'm a woman so i have to depend on them to do a good job for me. Thanks Jeff for the great work.

Ive used sextons shop for quite a while, Jeff (the owner) is the most honest mechanic I have ever used. Never inflates repairs, will work with you on large bills, excellent service and excellent warranty work. Only place in the area for amazing mechanic work.

I came in with having no knowledge of cars and had an issue this morning with my car not starting and then finally getting it to work. I brought it to these guys after work, no appointment and he still took the time to look at it quick and gave me a diagnosis and tightened what needed to be tightened (Also showed me a video he took, to help explain it to me). Staff is extremely friendly and I highly recommend. They didnt have to give me the time of day without an appointment but they did. They were a big help and I appreciate the kindness. I will come here again if I ever need help with cars!

Best car repair shop around! First and last place to go if you need work done on your vehicle! Great at not coming up with things to repair. They fix the problem and don't look for ways to jack up the price.

Heather, you didn't do yourself any favors. You overlooked a gem. Sexton's is great and consistently busy. Jeff won't suggest any work that doesn't need to be done. His prices are fair and the work is excellent. Trusting your mechanic...priceless!

If i could give it a half star I would. I called about 1651 and the women on the phone could not answer my question. All i asked "How much is the electrical diagnostic fee?" she put me on hold for several minutes. So i called back and said did you forget that i was on hold? as she was laughing then she gave this excuse that its the end of the day when i heard that i just hung up on her. Cause if a shop wants good costumer base they would try to help out and answer the questions. So who ever decides to go here i wouldn't due to poor costumer service.
