Went there for the first time in a year with some friends on Wednesday March 4th 2026. Had items in cart that totaled approximately around 20.00 total. While checking out with register closest to door with lady with blonde shorter curly hair and glasses. She was chatting with my friends about local restaurants in area while ringing me out. She seemed to have an issue with my card 1st time and had me try it again. Finally worked and left store not realizing that I did not have receipt. Upon getting home that evening I checked bank account and was charged 56.59 for my 20.00 worth of stuff!! No bargin here? Tried to call this morning and all I got was message to send text. 12 hours later and no response. Will not be getting my business anymore and will not tell anymore of my friends to go there either.
Nice to have another store in town. The parking isn’t the greatest and a lot of expired food.
The first time I went I got a shredder and got home it didn’t even work didn’t even turn on took it back they refunded my money.
The second time I got a Vicks humidifier and was wrote on tested got home the darn plastic container that holds water was broken how the hell did they test it without it being able to hold water. Don’t get anything in the box you can’t see first from this place.
They have some nice holiday things nicely priced that’s all I would trust!
Used to really love this store . Not sure if ownership has changed or not but use to see price reductions to move items. Don’t see that much any more same items on shelves week after week with no reductions in price. A lot of items near expiration or past without reductions also noticing many items higher than dollar store prices. Check prices before buying don’t just assume
Absolutely incredible deals, I always go here for my energy drinks because they are so cheap. The selection is amazing and the shelves are well organized. Will definitely be coming back!
Every Monday I do South Side, Kurtz and this place. Prices for the most part are NOT salvage prices. Your prices are way too high on most items compared to your competitors. Go send spies and snoop on your competition to see what I am talking about, if you can find a parking spot. There are always spots at your place. Wonder why???
A clean well-kept store customer service is excellent.
As with any salvage store, you will find some items that are near or beyond their sell-by date, which doesn't necessarily mean they're not usable. Almost all items I've purchased are perfectly fine.
Parents of mine had a great experience here, all snacks like Oreos, cereal, chips were all good and not stale, and for a way cheaper price, I recommend this place to people around the county and in Middlefield, family that owns this place is also very kind and friendly
From coffee & snacks to household finds—it’s a great place to score a deal! Very clean and roomy isles. They also have a fridge/freezer section and carry eggs!
