They have a nice/clean business, but unfortunately there was a miscommunication from someone from a dealership outside their business that gave me misinformation about pricing that I believed to be true. I’m not entirely happy with my first time experience, but they did handle the situation with professionalism while I was frustrated, so I appreciate that.

Brought in injection molding barrels, cleaned, hardened tool steel 2”+ thick walls with diameters of 4-6” by 4-6ft long. Gave me unprepared shred price. Even told them before I unloaded and they agreed they weren’t common shred. When I brought it up at the check out they were #1HMS not unprepared shreds the guy said it was because they were round and not flat stock. On top of it, I asked for help unloading (2400lbs) and they sent a guy down, the gent looked at me, said “you’ve got this” and walked over to the other pile to dig through their scrap. If the barrels weren’t so have I would have loaded back up and took them with me. Will not go back

Great People that always support local business's and organizations. Super friendly staff and always fair to the market on pricing. Entire place is concrete and seems well kept to prevent anything foreign from entering your tires when you drop off. Easy to get in and out of.

Nice orderly scrap yard...amish owned and operated...don't bring your electronics...they don't want them...circuit boards and such with gold....no interest...

Always fair prices. It's close so u save gas money. Now he has a little store off to the side with random treasures.

Very helpful group they even helped unload the scrap. This Saturday they were grilling out and gave us free Burgers

I recycle aluminum cans here. It's a nice small facility with good folks and about average prices

There is now a "treasure " store you can buy Useful items saved from their scrap piles.... Old gas cans, unusual beer cans ,metal toys, Hardware, tables, there's a whole room FULL of salvaged bicycles and lots more really useful stuff .......... CHECK IT OUT ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We've been bringing cans metal here for a few years, the guys are pretty helpful (I definitely didn't know what I was doing the first time we went).

Very honest and helped me identify metals and seperate them. Theyll weigh right in front of you and give you a weight ticket unlike alot of places. Best spot around!

Needs a little point of direction where your going. But iver all great place and helpful guys.

First time there and I found the place to be very confusing. No signs or people telling me where to go or anything.

Took care of business. Had equipment to unload my trailer of bikes and riding mowers without me having touch much of anything. Over 1000 lbs of iron scrap in two crane grips. And it was appreciation day with a catered lunch, Steve Miller The Back 40

Always a smooth experience! From the experienced scrapper to the newcomer they can help you out. Pull in, wait to go across the scale, they'll tell you where to dump, go back across the scale, get your weight slip, step into the office and get your money. If your unsure which metal is which, they can help you! Oh if you have aluminum, copper, or wire and such they will weigh that right by the office! Have fun scrapping!

I’ve been using Honest Scales for six years and wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. They have a very fluid process here, quick and painless. I’ve never had a bad experience with this local family business.

As always paying cold hard cash for my scrap metal. Very fair prices and like the name says an honest scale. The people who work there are all very friendly and someone is always ready and very willing to assist in the unloading. Great family business and it is always fun to hunt for items to buy there that were already discarded by others. Usually only pay scrap value which is always a terrific bargain.

I got there 3 mins before they closed and the guy at the weigh station stepped out of his both and said they where done all I had was a garage door. Just do your job you bum

I've been coming here for years. I have always had a good experience. I have looked around and there are other places that sometimes pay a few cents more but never worth the drive and I often find cool stuff to buy here for good prices because they let me snoop around unlike other places.

Reasonable and fair. Also the scrap yard is kept clean so you don't have a chance of puncturing a tire.
