Called ahead to see if they had a coolant reservoir and thermostat for my car. Drove past closer stores just to get there and they tell me they don’t have it in stock but it shows it on the computer. Declined any type of discount or accommodation for not having the piece I drove out the way for.
I remember when the customer service was the best thing about advanced auto. Now its all filler no fluff. I'd rather deal with Amazon and ust diy things myself than to deal with people who obviously don't want to be there and very unhelpful.
Manager, Terry was extremely helpful with checking my car battery and offering a discount when it's time to buy a new battery. I've only gone there a couple of times but they are always helpful. Thanks Terry!
The Euclid and Babbitt Road store is the best auto parts store I have ever been to in all the years I have had to buy auto parts! Semi and Neil went out of their way to help me. They deserved a nice tip for their assistance. As long as that auto part store is there and Semi and Neil are working there, I'll never go to any other part store except that Advance Auto Parts Store !!!
Recently, I had my battery looked at because of the corrosion around the top, and I thought it was a problem. The person working there cleaned off the corrosion and checked the battery - no problems. I appreciate the help and their time for a customer.
Thank God Austin was there to install my battery, because the associate that rang it up wasn't going to. It took him maybe 10 minutes, and I was ready to go. Thank you Austin, I appreciate you.
I ran in 5 minutes before they close. So of course they looking at me crazy. But the gentleman help me find exactly what I needed and gave his opinion as to which one is the best without an attitude or acting like I was holding them up. I didn't expect that and for that I am pleased
The store is ok, but i don't like the fact that they intentionally don't sell Mobile 1 Annual Oil! But you sell the filters and all other oil?! Its because its annual oil and not every 3-4 months oil, and indont like that! Oriellys and Autozone are the same way!
Terrible service. I race there to the nearest advance parts. Would not look at my car or look up my car problem 20 minutes before close on their computers. Which was a car light out. Told me go another place they don't do that.
Purchased a new battery online. Rob called me when they had it out and ready for pickup. Rob installed it for free. He had to jump it as it had been on the shelf for a while but when I got home after charging for half an hour it didn't hold the charge.
Called Rob and he found a battery that was dated this month, had it delivered, installed this and tested the alternator for peace of mind.
Rob knew how to treat his customer and I am thoroughly happy and will return to this store.
Excellent service even though the hard to find item was not in stock. But he did check, call and inform me of two the stores that has the item. ( it was a special limited sale item)
I had the greatest experience that I’ve had at a car parts store in a long time! I went in just to get tail light bulbs but what I got was some amazing help, and great service. Isaiah went above and beyond to help me, even doing extra things that were outside of his job description. They don’t have too many people like this I’m my generation out in the work world. Thank you!
Nice enough crew of employees generally. Service is a little slow and tedious at times but it seems they are probably understaffed for the amount of traffic that comes through this particular location. If you do an online order you have to be quick picking it up as they'll cancel it if you aren't there within 24 hours, even if the phone message they leave you says you have 72. Normally I will go to the O'Reilly's that is only a little further from me if I can help it but when the price is substantially lower or I just need something simple I'll pop into this location.
u understand the up sale however when a customer is in rush sales person should be able to respect that, not comment how they need to offer you several other products.. otherwise it was a quick stop
The clerks greeted me when I walked into the store. I looked around and found the oil I needed, or so I thought. There was a women who saw me looking for filters and saw that I didnt know which one to get and she looked it up and got it for me.
George helped us and was more than nice to my 4 year old son and I. He got the deal I was looking for and the parts super fast . Could not be happier. Thank you George.
I go h there for all my Automotive questions and services they do not do oil change but they do check your batteries and spark plugs and stuff like that so when you go to a regular place they can't rip you off I think for oil changes spark plugs batteries Etc. And guys know their stuff.
Went to get a battery installed on my car. No other customers were in the store there were two employees standing there. Now this employee tell me he can't do it because it's only two of them there. Now keep in mind no other customers were in the store and the employee talking to me while eating a sandwich
