Cale at Alligood's is a super guy! Had an issue with my radiator and he told me to bring it right in for a quick check as they were finishing up a job. Told me he couldn't fix it that moment, but could at least/possibly diagnose. Pulled in, he checked it out, found a small issue (not my radiator), charged me $37 to fix it, I was there an hour and out the door I went. Totally recommend Alligood's!

Probably one of the worst places to get your car fixed. Unless you want to go back three or four times until they get it right. They should close down and open up a barber shop..
If youre looking for a state of the art automotive shop, move along cuz this place takes me back to the old days. Seated at the point intersection of S. Fulton & lincolnton Rds, from the road it just looks like a rundown, shady service station. While the place isn't shiny, offering the snowflakes a cappuccino or lattes while they surf social media and vape. They are a good old dirty, smelling like grease and oil automotive shop.
I have used their services twice within the last year and each time they got me scheduled quicker than expected and they took care of my vehicles needs even quicker.
The staff is always friendly with me, both in person and over the phone. While I could go somewhere closer to me, I'll keep taking the extra times and miles to go here.
I just recently went here and I was gonna get inspection. And he told me sorry. My inspection didn't pass because of my tent, but he still took my $33.75, which makes me have to go somewhere else and let someone else do my expectation and that's more money. I was so disappointed.
First, we are traveling full-time in our RV. We called ahead knowing we would be in Salisbury North Carolina for a graduation. They said no problem will even get you in at 9 AM.
Got us in promptly, took only about an hour, we got a diesel oil change, filters, they even topped off our def fluid, (for free)
The prices here were very, very reasonable, definitely less than we would’ve paid back in Phoenix.
Everybody there was very pleasant, easy to work with, and messaged as soon as the work was done. Would definitely recommend.
We were on vacation passing through Salisbury, NC and the water pump on our truck went. The mechanic who was there alone that day made time for us to juggle his schedule in order to accommodate us and replace the pump in a timely fashion to get us back on the road the same day. As a visitor from Canada, I was very impressed with the Southern hospitality and great service afforded us.

Just used these guys for a few repairs at once. My 3rd time in the shop. These guys are well respected in the community and should be. My experience was exceptional and the cost was very competitive.
Finding a mechanic that you can trust is not an easy task. I do not take it it lightly. I believe I have found such.

I called 3 different other shops to get my car inspected and they all turned me down because they were too busy. I walked in their door and even though they had other cars they were working on in the lot, they automatically took my info and my keys and to get my car pulled in. I know mechanics get really busy but any and every time i have come to this place, they've given me the same respect and treatment and have not once turned me away cuz they were too busy! My daddy has been going there for years and now i will be too! I refuse to give my business to anyone else from now on! Nobody more dependable than cales!
