I needed a new battery and my budget was super low. Wasn't sure what I was going to do, but luckily I had some amazing help from an employee at AutoZone by the name of Amanda Fitz. With a smiling grace, Not only did she assure me she could help me out, she even found a battery within my budget. My day may have been looking gloomy, but she helped put a lot of sunshine through those clouds. Thanks Amanda!

This has been bothering me for a few weeks and I’m not that guy to do reviews. I bought lug-nuts at a store in Wilmington and tried to return them here on my way home to Swansboro (they didn’t fit). The alarm went off when I walked in and some lady that worked there said “oh are you trying to return something you stole” in front of all the customers . I’m not a Karen and definitely not a thief. I think better training could be used. Luckily a guy was able to return them for me and verify.

I needed a new battery and went to the Auto Zone in Hampstead,NC I walked in and ask for a new battery. And this young man said can help you with that Sir! I said cool. He ask me to come to one of the registers. Very polite he ask me what kind of vehicle I had. Then he went back and got a cart and got the battery. We went out side and popped the hood and in a short time he had the old one out and the new one back into. I was very impressed with Lonnie. He was very friendly. I spent 226 dollars and with Lonnie’s attitude I will gladly come back and buy more products from your store! Lonnie has the qualities to be a manager! Thank you so much for hiring great people!

We dropped by to get some replacement headlights and a rear wiper. Both the main person we worked with and the store manager were very helpful! They gave solid recommendations and were kind enough to guide us through the process of installation. Would recommend!

This is the first place that my husband sends me to for anything my car needs. Every time I have purchased something from there, the employees were very helpful and friendly. I especially appreciated the assistance when I purchased new mats, and the gentleman took them out to my car so I could see how they would look. As an older lady, good customer service is important to me.

The employees at the AutoZone on HWY 17 in Hampstead are extremely helpful. More importantly, they're super nice. When I stopped in today, I got the very definition of service with a smile. They clearly go above and beyond to provide an excellent customer service experience, which I find to be a rarity these days. It was refreshing and definitely the best customer service experience I've had in a long time. Thanks, guys. Y'all rock.

I go to this store all the time and honestly love it. Jimmy needs to be fired. The least useful person I have ever encountered there and he was just lost in the sauce

I was traveling through Hampstead and stopped at Bojangles and when i got back to the car it would not start. I walked over to auto zone and Joseph T came and found a loose battery cable. He was able to tighten it and we were on our way. Joseph was very helpful and professional, i appreciate him helping us out.

Went to Auto Zone in Surf City, have to honestly say that the store and it's workers are a A+ team. Mr.Murphy was very professional at his Job. Me and my wife would like to thank Mr. Murphy for such a excellent job.The Henry family.

Paul was extremely helpful! My rental car had low coolant and he helped me figure out what coolant to use despite my complete cluelessness about BMWs. He was very patient and kind! The store is clean and well staffed. I am so glad I went there!

I’d rather walk into a busy street while blindfolded than have to deal with Nathan again. Completely rude and childish. Even Angela (the woman working along side him) was confused with his behavior. However; 5 stars for Angela B!! The sweetest!!

Went by today to get a light bulb for my Dodge Truck 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 . No customer in store, young man leaning on the counter. Told me I needed to bring bulb in. I goggle it, Walmart has it. Anyway never heard such a thing.

Bought a new coolant tank for my jeep and coolant liquid I specifically asked for orange coolant even grabbed the bottle from my car to show her which one I needed. She sold me yellow coolant and I asked one final time you sure this is orange she said yes. Something just didn’t sit will with me so I did some research and indeed she sold me yellow now if I were to mix the yellow coolant and orange coolant that my car already had it would have caused my engine to get clogged and overheat and there goes my Jeep. I leave this feedback as a learning experience.

This is the fastest and most organized Auto Zone we've ever been to! The crew was quick-to-help, knowledgeable, super friendly and respectful. We will definitely be coming back here for all our vehicle's needs!

The only problem was the fact that they could not install the battery because of where it sits in the car. It has to be installed by a dealer. Otherwise,they have a great staff that's very friendly. I even got to talk to a gentleman who was working in the Pentagon when it was attacked on the infamous 9/11.

Amy is a God send!! Both my tail lights were out and I'd been sold the wrong lights at a different auto store. She help me identify the issue, instructed me how to change the bulbs and made sure I felt comfortable doing so. She truly is amazing!!

Looking for a great vehicle parts store with excellent service? Then this is not the place for you! Low and behold while standing in line you will literally have customers walk in front of you. Looks like customers failed kindergarten and can’t read signs “line starts here.” The other customer will then slide ALL OF your purchases over to the side on the counter as they then place THEIR products next to yours! The best selling point is the employees will see this then proceed to serve the other person while ignoring you with a big smile on their face.
