Greeted immediately upon entering store 7181, team member asked the right questions and gave the right answers to my responses. Very nice and professional, team member let me know the specials available and recommended some other products as well. I was very impressed with the stores display of flags honoring our military and first responders.

I go there for all my Auto parts needs

I had to replace my tail light, and the worker was so helpful in finding the bulb. He also helped me fix it and put the new bulb in after I accidentally broke it!! He really was an angel, and I will be going here from now on.

Walked into the store and caught the employee deep in a romantic moment with a fruit bowl. Not only did he not acknowledge me, he straight-up walked out of the store mid-snack like I was the inconvenience. If you’re looking for service, you’d have better luck at a vending machine.

Guys here were very helpful. They even got the items that I needed off the shelf, after looking it up on their computers.

Nobody spoke to me, had a question and seemed like an inconvenience asking the employee there. Won’t be back, many other places to go to around here.

Terrible service. Staff make you feel small and belittle you for asking questions. Employee by the name of Rob is specifically unhappy to have to do any customer service.

Great and knowledgeable staff. Always there to offer assistance and very good at explaining in a way that's easy to comprehend. Also very clean and tidy inside and out.

The employees and the manager at this Advance Auto Parts are absolutely amazing. If it wasn't for them it would have cost my husband and I thousands to gogure out was wrong with our car. They seriously went above and beyond what they needed to do and I couldn't be more grateful. Thank you so much for everything yall did.

My car had difficulty starting. My husband had passed away a year earlier and I didn’t really know anything about cars. William went out, diagnosed my car and installed me a new battery. Had I gone to the dealership it would’ve cost me $600. It only cost me the battery. He was perfect and I am so grateful for everything he did. He should definitely get a raise.

Chris was amazing!! I had a issue with my battery but once I got there I had no problems anymore! Showed me that yes I needed a new battery instead of just saying it. Talked me thru the options n had me back on the road shortly after! Great people skills and knowledge!! I will always go back n ask for him!! Thank you Chris! I won't have to worry about car not starting anymore!!

I’ve been going to auto parts stores since the early 90s. This place is absolutely the best. The staff is the most helpful that I’ve ever met. They truly want to help you and don’t make you feel like you’re wasting their time. This is now my go-to auto parts store. Thank you to the management and sales team that make this place amazing.

Had to make a trip to the store on my way in from a drive from ATL as my car wasn’t sounding good. Joe was SUPER helpful and helped me deal with a situation of NO oil (despite not needing a change for another 4K mi). I wasn’t far from home but didn’t want to push it, and I’m so glad I stopped here. Great customer service- we will 100% recommend this store to friends. Thanks Joe!!!

These guys are great! Very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They have what you need. Four stars because they can be pricey.

Have been a number of times and it has always been great. Today was especially great. I had recieved a part that not correct and when I called, Jeff helped me not only track down why it was the wrong the part(online had the wrong parts listed) and was able to go through and help make sure not only did I get the right part, but that I wasn't on a wild goose chase trying to find the location.

Chris was very helpful with the items I needed for my car. Thankful he was there to assist. I love his positive energy.

While driving on Hwy 17, my left wiper blade flew off necessitating me to stop. I pulled into Advance Auto Parts on Hwy 17 in Hampstead, NC and was greeted by Alan who looked at my other wiper, matched the left one, installed the new blade and I was off again in less than 10 minutes. This was on Monday July 19th about 10:10 am. What impressed me most was the manner Alan treated me for my small purchase. He went to the car to see what I had so it could be matched, found the part and rang it up quickly and then installed the wiper on the car. Next he had me test the wiper to ensure it was working properly and after again ensured it was securely fastened. He did this casually and naturally indicating this is how he works. I was impressed and I'll bet when he is told of my glowing comment will say, "I was just doing my job as i always do". Yes, Alan you were and that is what sets you apart. Thank you for helping me get on my way in less than 10 minutes. I appreciate your help and you! When I Hampstead again I will stop in to see you again, whether I need something or not. But then again, how can one go the the 'candy store' and not buy something?

This place has been excellent to have right by the house. The guys here are knowledgeable about cars and always helpful when it comes to finding that one part that you need. The only downside is it can be difficult to turn left out of their entrance due to traffic on 17. If they could find a way to tie into the parking lot for food lion it would make it much easier as you could use the stoplight at 210 and 17 to get out.

Let me start this review off with DJ here is amazing! I had been to another store 2 weeks ago that insisted my air conditioner was fine and I didn't need any coolant. I had a miserable two weeks that culminated in me nearly passing out while driving today (100 heat index) which caused me to start having a panic attack as I was on the high way. If I pulled over I would have most certainly passed out considering it would still not been able to cool off. Like a beacon of light I finally came upon this store. When I walked in DJ immediately recognized I was in distress, put me in front of an air vent and calmed my breathing. All I could initially get out was "air conditioner not working". He asked a few questions as I nodded to answer and he knew just what I needed. After I cooled down he checked me out and showed me how to not only check my coolant but how to add more when needed. His kindness truly made my day. As a manager that runs two stores I hope that all of my employees are at least half as compassionate and patient as he was. I will be forever grateful and recommend this location to anyone and everyone I can because of him. Amazing job DJ! You are the best!

Broke down in the parking lot, in the rain ( of course), employees were very friendly and helpful. Have me a referral for a tow agency and we waited inside for a ride. Great group of people. THANKS !!

Cant say enough about management and the staff at this store. Always super friendly, willing to help get the parts you need, great communication on the phone when calling looking for parts. By far the best Advance Auto Parts in the area! Great job!

This is not my usual Advance Auto Parts Store. However, yesterday, I paid this location a visit, twice. I found this Advance Auto Parts to be in a good location. The Side-road entrance makes the store very easy to get into. However, depending on which way you're going, it can be difficult at times to exit onto Highway 17. With that being said, the store has plenty of parking and is kept clean and orderly. The Customer Service was fantastic both times I went in. Each time I went in, an employee was assertive in addressing me and really showed interest in helping me get the parts I needed. Everyone was well spoken and had a positive attitude. The prices were good, but the selection could be better. Original equipment was not available in store. If it was something big, I could understand. However, this was a radiator cap... for a FORD PICKUP TRUCK... that was the same for 7 years. Although I find this unacceptable, I do not blame this store location for that issue. The negative experience for me involved ordering ahead via the Advance Auto Parts website. I did so because I had a coupon for online orders. The website was not processing the order properly, which was frustrating. In addition, after getting home with my order, I realized the clerk pulled one of the products for my order wrong. I do not know if human error or Advanced Auto Parts' System was to blame, but it made the entire second trip pointless. I had to go elsewhere for my part and I "still" have to return the product. Definitely "Not" worth the coupon... Just deal with the in store employees, and you should enjoy your experience just fine. 5 Stars to Staff & Location. 2 Star deduction for bad shopping experience caused by company, not by this particular store. If you're going to Advance Auto Parts in person, I highly recommend this store. You will not be disappointed.

So twice I have tried to use this particular store. Twice I have called ahead and been very specific with what I needed. Both times the same employee has told me sure yeah we got it come on down I'm looking at it right now. Both times this employee stated after I got there and the product I wanted was not there oh, oh well I thought we had it we were busy when you called. What a joke. These guys over here can only tell you what that computer says. Absolutely worthless. I will be calling corporate, too inform them of the type of employees they have who have nothing better to do than waste the time of a customer who is calling to verify a part they need is there to prevent running for no reason. I give you negative 5 Stars if it was possible.

This was the first time I have ever visited this actual Advance Auto Parts. I have never had a good experience in an auto parts store. They tend to always be busy and in turn, have very poor customer service.That being said, I'd like to give the guys working at this location props! I only caught one guys name though, Chris. Thank you Chris.....for taking the time to explain my truck's issues and how I need to go about fixing it.

The parking lot is a little too small therefore making it difficult for people to get in and out of the spots correctly the store itself is decent the aisles are open and accessible however they do not have great return policy is the staff is friendly and the parts are decent I’ve heard from a lot of locals that they have received damaged or nonworking parts of been on able to exchange them I have been able to exchange my damage and non working parts so I cannot speak for them
