Desperately needed my vehicle inspected for expired tag renewal, they squeezed me and was in and out within 30 minutes. During the inspection a leak was found and they wrote down a quote and explained exactly where the issue was so my husband could look at it later. Super kind and not pushy by any means. Will be going back again!

My husband and I both brought our cars here. My car is significantly older and needs lots of TLC. Doug was very transparent and clearly explained the issues that needed to be addressed. As new issues came up Doug called me regularly to let me know what was happening. Their costs are incredibly fair. O'Leary's will be our go to for all automotive needs!

Very honest people. Doug will take the time to explain what is going on with your car because he knows his stuff. Nice bathroom and waiting area. They fixed my air conditioning without lying or ripping me off! And they try to find you the best deals.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We are definitely coming here for all of my automotive needs! I highly reccomend them! My Husband and I only have 1 vehicle and it broke down today. We called a few places with no hopes of getting it fixed before next week. By Gods grace we found O'Leary's Automotive, called them, and they told us to come right in so they could take a look at it. The customer service was extremely exceptional and polite! The supervisor also gave us a ride back home and picked us up when our vehicle was done. Thank you so much Doug!

I came here for the first time since my father passed away this summer. My father was always the first person I called and trusted to navigate me through car issues. He taught me enough to know something needed to be looked at on our Pilot. This company and the people I spoke with were outstanding. I am always skeptical of new businesses I work with, but based on my experience I believe anyone who comes here is in great hands. I look forward to having my car serviced here locally in Hampstead. Lastly, other places had long waits, and O’Leary fit me in right away and was flexible when I had to reschedule due to kid drop of schedules. Kind, professional, and just “real people” is the vibes. 20/10 Highly highly recommend.

They do my oil changes and have worked on my car a few times now and have always been honest and thorough in explaining what needs to be done and upfront regarding the cost.

Had my car dropped off to o learys needing the serpentine belt replaced. I get the call the next day stating that not only my car needed a serpentine belt, but a brand new water pump, and power steering pump as well. And all said and done would cost 1700 dollars. Had it towed to another mechanic, which then told me it was just the serpentine belt, 40 dollar part and 30 minutes of my time, and my car was running perfect. Do not recommend this place to anyone unless you want to get extorted out of your money.

Wonderful place for a car to break down. I know nothing about Hampstead, NC. But, my car started shaking violently on HWY 17. No clue what to do. I googled it and had lots of options from a loose lug nut to major car repair. Called Brad at O'Leary's. Limped 1.5 miles to Brad's place. Turns out it was a bad spark plug and ignition coil. What a blessing! Reasonable and quick! Thank you Brad and Daniel! Of all the places I could break down this was perfect!

Tried to charge me $680 for new pads and rotors, so I immediately called Blacks Tire and they said they would do it for $350. Parts are generally the same price for that sort of thing, so there’s really no reason for them to be charging double. I do not drive a luxury car. I really tried to give Olearys a chance, but on two different occasions over the years, this location has lied to me about the price of a maintenance evolution. Crazy to think that they could just be honest and charge the proper amount and have more customers, versus overcharging the few customers they do have, to make up for their lack.

The staff are terrific and treat you like family. Super quick and reliable turnaround time. When they say they’re going to be done with your car, they’re done with your car. They are some of the very few mechanics I trust and do great work for a very reasonable price.

Bad experience, dropped car off in morning for alignment and couldn’t pick it up until end of day, still had pulling issues so they decided to rotate tires? Brought to Blacks Tire for alignment and they said it was never recently aligned, was way out of specs and all the adjustment bolts were still dirty with no sign of wrenches, plus no more pulling after repair. They Just charged me for work not performed.

Going from N.Y. to North Carolina I heard a noise from the left rear of my Jeep. It was the wheel well liner that came loose. My sister said O'Leary's was great when she needed work on her car. I went not knowing how much they could do . I was pleasantly surprised, they were Very professional and helpful !

Professional and friendly staff. Left our truck for analysis and we received the answer and estimate within hours before the repair was started. This was a win/win therefore should we need vehicle repairs we will return and offer referrals to our friends.

5 minutes after I walked in for the first time ever and without an appointment, they were already working on my car. Extremely friendly and efficient. I was leaving as a happy customer 20 minutes later. Highly recommend.

Y'all these guys are AMAZING!!! My battery died on me....I was able to get a jump....just made it a mile down the road before the whole thing went down the you know what! I didn't have an appointment and knew I would have to wait or leave it there. My husband was on the way to get me anyway. In the mean time, they ran a test on the battery and we chatted back and forth about the vehicle and laughing. With the way the world is, this could have very easily been an unpleasant experience for us all. They treated me like a human being and for that I am grateful. Explained everything and they were able to have a battery delivered just in time for my first appointment of the day. I can't thank you all enough for helping me!! The personality, knowledge and overall kindness was impressionable. I would definitely recommend O'Leary's for your car care needs!! Don't forget to call first and MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!! Trust worthy doesn’t begin to explain the service you will receive with Brad and his staff! I’ve taken all my vehicles here since we moved and Brad has been nothing but great. They have always had my car fixed asap and are more than fair with prices. Could not recommend more.

My wife took her car here with a engine coolant warning light. She had first called and explained the issue and told them it is a toyota prius. They told her to bring it in. She limped the car in there. They then said that only the dealer can fix it? I am no mechanic but borrowed an OBD scanner, looked up the code, googled the fix, ordered the water pump, installed it in literally 30 min. Car runs great now. Why would you have her bring the car in and make no effort to repair it? Oh yeah, and charge $85 for a diagnostic? Not a good experience. Won't be back.

My windshield wipers were not doing their job, so I stopped by O'Leary's and they replaced them right away. The mgr. and employees are always friendly and very helpful and efficient.

O'Leary's is the best shop I've ever taken my car to. The customer service was outstanding- quick yet thorough responses, and being patient with all the questions I had. They even went out of their way to come to my house twice (once to pick up something they needed for my car) and another time to give me a ride to the shop so I didn't have to pay for an Uber. I have never experienced this level of customer service before. In addition, O'Leary's went out of their way to obtain a part I needed in order to get the job done, in order to save me unforeseen expenses. They did excellent work on my car at an awesome cost and saved me a lot of money compared to quotes from other shops. I cannot recommend O'Leary's enough to anyone needing their car serviced. Five stars doesn't come close to their level of excellence.

I have use this O'Leary's for a few years. They are WAY better now that they have new management and new employees. They do great work and are great people to interact with. I used to work on my own car, but with kids I don't have the time and energy any more. Because I used to work on my own cars, I am very selective of who I trust to fix my car. These guys do great professional work. They have never tried to sell me more than I need, and they charge fair prices for the work. If you need work done I highly recommend trusting this specific O'Leary's. It's so hard to find an auto shop you can trust and count on, I have found mine.

I have been to O’Leary’s twice, and I absolutely love their service! This is the only shop I have ever been where the employees have NOT been condescending or rude to me just because I am a young woman. They are super friendly, and they speak to everyone the same way regardless of age or gender. They even have feminine hygiene products in the bathroom (which doesn’t speak to their automotive work, but it was a very considerate touch). They don’t try to upsell or take advantage of customers, and both times that I have been there, they have helped me to get the best price possible. I am very happy with my experiences there and will be going back!

I called to ask the manager to speak to a mechanic about a problem I was having with my car. I’m disabled, and I don’t have a lot of extra money to bring It there. He had said his mechanic wouldn’t talk to me over the phone. Which is fine, and I would’ve thanked him and hung up. Until he said I don’t care if you could walk or you are disabled, it doesn’t make a difference. That's the only reason For this comment! didn’t ask for anything free just to help me out over the phone

They are great. Always fast every time I visit for oil change. Just recently had an oil change, tire rotation and flat fixed. Was in and out within 40 minutes, without an appointment.

They were very rude and not very welcoming. And in my opinion if you work for a business your suppose to greet your costumers with a smile. I had made an appointment at 2 Pm, to get my oil changed and alignment done. When I walked in I just felt negativity, I told the gentleman at the front desk I had an appointment at 2PM I wasn’t even in the computer system. They called an hour later saying that they couldn’t change my oil because my oil pan bolt had been stripped and the only way to fix that is to spend $463.00 for a new oil pan, my finance had checked it the night before to see if he could change it himself but he didn’t wanna mess with it, the bolt was not stripped like it was when I got my vehicle back.....They were all about charging someone out the Ying yang when it’s a simple fix because you can get a bolt out. All I have to say is this place is altogether is a awful place and definitely not family oriented. I do not recommend them even if they were the last automotive repair place on earth. ????

Front desk guy (older man) was not able to manage more than one customer and intentionally ignored me (did not acknowledge me and looked like he did not want to be there). Came in for simple inspection and waited for 5 mins standing there and was then told they will be back. Bad business management and poor customer service. I left to go somewhere else. Go to Quicktech instead if you need something simple. They had me in the second I came in and they had 4 people waiting. Much better business model!

Had a wonderful first experience here. Been going to Toyota for years, but made the switch for a few reasons. So glad I did - the prices and the people are wonderful. Hardworking, knowledgeable team with an eye for fair customer service. Happy to have found a team close by that I can trust.
