Dishonest. Called twice before going and was quoted a price 50% higher than what they paid for scrap metal. I also spoke the lady who operates the scales before entering and showed her what I was recycling. Not once did she mention that it would be priced differently.
Second time coming here and will definitely be coming here from now on dry clean place quick service and fair prices it’s worth the extra few minutes of driving past Edenton don’t have to worry about getting flats or the equipment operator dinging your vehicles very nice place

Best scrap yard around this place is awesome!! Went to junk a car and this place exceeded my expectations. The employees were more than happy to help and they even lifted the car up so i could take my tires back! 10/10 I will be back.
We take all of the metal from our jobs here. The site is always very well kept and the owners are very friendly folks. If you want top dollar for your scrap metal, this is the place to go.

Went to scrape a suv today. Was running late but they said to still come on through. We get there and realized we had the wrong sized wrench to take these brand new tires off. Asked to run not even 2 miles up the road real quick to get the right one and the owners son said nah man and choice words. He was so rude! He should have said no all together in the first place. This place is cheap and the staff is rude. Find somewhere better because here is not it.
Well I called to inquire about some box tubing, the receptionist was very nice, when she transferred me over to the Steele department the not so kind man answered the phone and was very rude to me. When he answered and asked me what I needed I started to tell him and he cut me off in mid sentence, I asked him again how much it cost and he gave me the price and I said that is high and he told me if I cannot afford I shouldn't have called. What the hell kind of business says that to a customer? If I were the owner and found that out I would fire him on the spot. I put one star because I had to. I actually gave them zero stars I would not buy the first inch of Steele from them or any product that they sell because the customer is the most valuable part of the business and I was NOT appreciated. And as a business owner that I am I always keep in my mind that the customer is the most important thing in my mind and without them I have nothing.
I cleaned all fittings from my copper and they still only gave me dirty copper said there was paint on a piece, so they dont like to pay you for what you have, will not be going back and I'm a plumber so this your lost
Have been there several times to buy aluminum angle and such for a project.

We(my fiancé and I) went here to scrap a car. It didn’t take very long which was great. But the employees acted as if we were burdening them by having them do their job. They didn’t want to really communicate with us thoroughly which made it a bit awkward. When we needed help with what to do next we couldn’t see any employees around until we finally found them - sitting around a table just having some fun. This wasn’t a horrible experience but definitely not a pleasant one.
