Called car quest of Elizabeth city and the employee I spoke to hung up on me when I asked too many questions. If I’m going to drive to your store to buy parts from you, I need to know that you have what I’m looking for. I will not recommend this store to anyone. Go to advanced or auto zone instead. At least they’re polite if they don’t know what part you’re asking for.
Went in to get an oil filter for a Ford Excursion asked if I needed help, I said yes thinking it would be quicker. Yeah they “looked up” the oil filter and still handed me the wrong one. I didn’t look at it until I was about to add oil, So my time was wasted because now I have to go back to a different store to grab the correct one, because yes, that is the last time I go in there. Employees should know what the heck they are doing.
Today was the first and LAST time I have shopped at this carquest. The gal who waited on me was rude curt and dismissive. You are not doing ME a favor by waiting on me.
The assistant helped me find electrical parts to rebuild old lights on a tractor. Everything is working now after being able to replace old rusty electrical parts that stopped working. Great assistance...on new year's day!
my husband had an appointment at 9:00 a.m. to get an OIL CHANGE. Several people came in well after he did and left well before he did. They were not done until 10:50 a.m .ALMOST 2 HOURS FOR AN OIL CHANGE? REALLY?!!!!
I generally only speak when I have good things to say but this last trip here was exceptional. I had to bypass a stuck ac compressor on a 2005 navigater. I needed to change a pulley to a smaller one to have clearance for the belt to go on the outside as it typically went on the inside. The clerk was very knowledgeable and was able to go to his stock and find exactly what i needed. No parts numbers no computer just proficiency in knowledge of his products and thier application. Got the pulley and three potential belt sizes. Easy return of the ones that didn't work. Great service all the way around.

Best place ever, I needed a vehicle inspection at the last minute. When I walked in the door they told me they were booked up till the next day. When they realized I had drove a couple hours to get there they worked me right in. The technician Jeffery had me in and out in less than a hour. Didn’t catch the guys name at the front desk but he was super helpful to me and everybody else. Whole place deserves 10 stars
Headed home to Ohio, windshield wiper flies off during heavy rain! We take a detour to car quest and encountered Wendy. She is amazing and extremely personable!!!The first few wiper blades we tried didn't work so she went out of her way to help us get back on the road. Thank you Wendy!!!
