My vehicle was towed here. Staff were very accommodating and understanding. All of my belongings were taken care of and returned to me in full. Unfortunate situation, but made a little bit better by staff.
This place is a crook, they towed my car and I paid to retrieve my items from my car and the STOLE over half the thing in my car an would not return them to me then had me TRESPASSED from the property because I refused to leave without my stuff. I still didn’t get my stuff from my car! They kept my sisters ashes and gold chain that was in my window and now I can’t get them back!

Based on a firsthand experience I witnessed involving this company, there are serious concerns about how personal property is handled during the retrieval process. In this instance, the vehicle owner was told that specific personal items were not present in the vehicle, despite clearly identifying what had been left inside. When the owner continued to ask about the missing items, a male employee became aggressive and dismissive. A female employee then went to check the vehicle, after which the items were suddenly located. The company requires appointments to retrieve belongings, yet customers are not allowed access to their own vehicles. Items are often pre-packed by staff prior to arrival, and belongings are frequently missing. Preventing owners from verifying their own property removes transparency from the process and creates significant accountability concerns. Property managers and companies that use this towing service should be aware of these practices when choosing who they align with.
I would like to know, is this company even legal? Isn't ilegal what they're doing?? Towing cars without explanation in the middle of the night randomly?? Has someone sue them already? They seem to be scammers.
I said everyday I will post how these crooks stole the vehicle I have as a loaner while my car is in the shop. Yesterday day or should I say Monday night they came and towed my car once I came outside to go to work and notice the car was gone I called them N Style towing with no answer. Once I spoke with someone the second time a lady not nice at all told me we don't have your car call 311 maybe they can help, mind you I had called them twice yesterday morning with no records being found that my car was towed. Once I notified dealership that there loaner car had been stolen they told me they had a tracker on the vehicle. She said the car was at victor muffler which is right next to N style towing, so I went there to pick the car up they were still tell me they didn't have the vehicle for at least 20 minutes once I arrive. Long story short I said I was calling the police to come out and who found my car on there property N STYLE TOWING THIEFS. I will be reporting them to the Attorney General today. I was late to work had to leave work early just to find a vehicle that was never reported to the towing database. They should not be in business. You can't believe anything they say.
They literally towed my car at 4am this morning. After finally realizing my car was done. I gave them a call and requested them to stay open 10 extra mins because the drive was 22 mins away from my home. They refused. Stating that they were closing at 12 which means they were only only 3 hours!!!! The lady I spoke with told me they would be charging me two days at that point. How are you charging me two days when you just towed my car at 4am. That means it would be 24 hours since you’ve had the car! So, I will have no choice but to bring the police with me to handle this matter. They’re not even an accredited business to begin with. All this because you couldn’t stay open 10 extra mins. I had my partner call at 12:02 and somebody was in office.
There’s nothing aligning with the information given to the customer. The driver says the problem is with my dealership so I had my dealership contact them but then the office says it’s another problem about display, They blamed my lack of knowledge on me not getting in contact with them even when I called and there was no answer. So if they don’t answer, please keep calling, they will use it against you even if you feel you fixed the problem on the warning label. (Warning label was about my paper tag, boot label was about my official tag) At the end they called it unfortunate and said if I displayed my registration card on my dash with all of my information showing they would not have booted my car. The 1 star is not about the interactions but more about the lack of consistency between employees and the actual reasoning to their actions.

but you are wrong here. My license plate was indeed valid. I contacted the dealership and visited the dmv they told me that my tags were valid visually, physically, and on documents . That’s where I’m not agreeing with you. As far as your policies they are not clear at all, the sticker does not say to contact you guys within the time period (though I called multiple times with no answer) It says to correct the violation within the time period. I literally corrected a violation that wasn’t there by swapping my paper tags to my physical tags which I gotten that same day. Your company is the only business or enforcement that has told me my tags are not valid and I’m here to say you are not factually right there. Sorry but true.
If you have the nerve to tow someone in the middle of the night at least be open on time. Opened 15 minutes late as if people don’t have jobs and need their vehicles to get there
My cousin had a terrible experience with this towing company. Her car broke down while she was at a laundromat washing clothes. She informed the laundromat employee, who gave her permission to leave the car overnight until she could get it fixed. They even left a cardboard sign on the car explaining the situation. Still, this company showed up at 1 AM and towed it. All of her kids’ freshly washed school clothes were inside the car. When she called to at least get her children’s clothing, the company refused. What’s worse is what their staff said on the phone. They told her that even if a child had been in the car, they still wouldn’t have let her retrieve them without paying the full tow fee or surrendering the title. That is beyond unprofessional—it's disturbing. This company showed zero empathy, zero compassion, and zero basic human decency. No one deserves to be treated this way, and businesses that operate like this should not be allowed to continue
FYI for anyone who might deal with this towing company:
Storage fees are $35 per day, and same-day pickup is supposed to waive that fee – but they do not tell you that unless you specifically ask. The employee even admitted that.
My car was towed sometime between 12 AM and 9 AM on Sunday. They closed at noon, so I couldn’t get there in time. I came to pick it up Monday morning and they still charged me for two days of storage, even though the car had only been there from early Sunday to Monday morning.
They also towed me for expired registration, but instead of checking the actual registration in my vehicle, they were using some DMV system that was only pulling information under my finance company because my registration is behind.This could have been cleared up quickly by looking at the documents in the car, but instead it turned into an unnecessary hassle and made me late to work.
Overall, the process was way more difficult and frustrating than it needed to be. I’m guessing most of their five-star reviews are from the clients who hire them, not the people who get towed. Hopefully this helps someone avoid the same surprises
If your car got towed from this company brace yourself for the worst experience of your life, this company absolutely is terrible. Be patient and mentally prepared when it comes to this company. Good luck to everyone else. They deserve to be shut down permanently.
Had my vehicle towed by this Company while I was asleep. They advised me that it was towed because displaying expired or fake. How would that even be known when I back in wherever I go. And I’m sure they don’t get out the vehicle to walk each car in an apartment complex. And said that sticker was placed on vehicle 11/9 but I wasn’t even at my complex until around 4 am at earliest on 11/10/25 from coming out of town. And suggested I get it corrected within a day so I could avoid having it towed. Clearly they operate at hours majority are unaware. I would leave 0 star if possible.
It would be a great idea for a towing company to hire someone with patience on the road. Today I experienced a tow driver that was driving as close to my bumper as possible, in bumper to bumper traffic. After I brake checked him for being too close, he proceeded to make obscene hand gestures towards me (and then pointed and laughed at me when he passed me?). In my opinion, professionalism starts at the ground level, and based on my experience with the tow driver driving with the VN-1140 tag, this company is as unprofessional as it gets.
Although im a transporter; Employees are nice(when they wanna be lol) They will be nice and friendly to you if you treat them the same way. I get there and out of there pretty quick no issue.
Why are you towing a vehicle that is parked in a visitor parking space? Anything to scam people out of money! Thieves! They don't even deserve a 1 star rating. The lady who answers is rude and unprofessional.
This afternoon was an absolute disaster dealing with a guy booting cars outside a club called Platform. He approached us without so much as a hello—just walked up and said, “Cash, card, or credit?” No explanation, no professionalism, nothing. We were stunned. After realizing our car had been booted, we asked how much it would cost to get it removed, and he said $350. Meanwhile, the company’s own website clearly states that booting fees start at $100. We were completely confused about how the price jumped from $100 to $350, especially considering we had only been parked outside the club for ten minutes. When we questioned him, all he could say was, “I just work here.” That’s not good enough.
He couldn’t even provide a proper receipt, instead telling us to call the office — which is closed on Sundays. So not only was his attitude rude and dismissive, but the process itself was shady. No protection, no cameras, no company identification visible — just him out there booting five to eight different cars and demanding payment through Cash App, card, or cash. It felt completely unsafe and unprofessional. What’s worse, when I pointed out that there was no sign posted warning about booting or private parking, he just shrugged and ignored me.
After this experience, I looked up the company’s reviews and saw they already have a 1.7-star rating — and now I understand why. This company doesn’t make people’s lives easier; they make them harder. They operate like a scam, charging random prices, showing no respect to customers, and providing no accountability. I’ve seen real towing with 4.5-star ratings that treat people with decency and follow the law. This company, on the other hand, is completely unprofessional, disorganized, and borderline fraudulent. My advice: get a new team, a new system, and a sense of integrity, because this operation as it stands is a disgrace.
THE worst, they tow tenants right out of their parking spots late at night when they are asleep l They are not the police! If a tag is expired thats a police matter, not a tow company matter!
The worst company ever! They pick and choose who they are going to boot. They go to places that don’t have nearly enough parking and randomly boot cars. They quote you one price on the phone then jack the price up when they take the boot off. They are going to put the businesses including platform sports bar out of business. We will absolutely never go back and we will tell everyone we know not to go to any of these businesses!!!
Towed my car from my complex said they didn’t have paperwork I told the infor was in the mail because it was done online and I was waiting to have it sent to me still towed my car I feel like they are so janky worst experience ever I was on my way to work and had to deal with all of this .
N style towing towed my car out of my apartment complex bc they said someone from office told them to remove my car for illegally parked. Now mind I go to the office and the office said that they never asked these people to remove car so I called them back my style towing and ask them what was the rules for parking and why wasn't there parking rules posted the only posting that they had was if you did not have a permit to park there that they would tow your car so I was a resident of the apartment complex and also I have parked my front tire on a white line it did not go over the white line it was just sitting on the white line so the person that told my car said that I was double parked they charged me $275 to get my car and I also had to pay for a uber to get to my car I did ask them to show me a picture and the picture that he showed me was just that my tire was cricket and it was sitting on the white line and they told my car but like I told the man that was at the car lot I'm at the towing place I will be taking you guys to court because I think you guys illegally towed my car I would definitely be sending them in court and the apartment complex that I reside at is not any better and that is park at fantino's
The will lie and say leasing office had car towed. They will not answer phone for days at a time. You pay $100 to retrieve belongings just for them to give you back what THEY WANT YOU TO HAVE. By far most janky tow yard in charlotte. They won’t last long doing business the way they conduct it.
Why would anyone want to work for a towing company? I guess the ones who don’t know how their operation works. A guy with a crappy attitude said I had to pay in cash no if ands or buts, then had the manager say it was okay to pay with a credit card.
Scammers …. They charged 475 for car return than 575 for same night I get you wanna make money but 475 is pure greed imagine being a single mother goin out for a girls night for the first time since the divorce from a abusive husband and you gotta try to find 475 outta no where cause just to get to work on monday it’s robbery maybe 250-300 for the tow but 475-575 is crazy over priced in this economy than to make matters worse I was told that my purse was in the trunk it’s a fee to get my purse out the car I don’t have any extra money in raising 4 kids and school is starting my budget is tight
This company is out of line as I’m reading the reviews about excessive tow fees it seems like the same number continues to come up “$400” which people feel is already excessive well how about this I was on site 5 feet away from my car while handling a situation with the police the company owner decided to jack my car up and demanded that I pay $600 dollars to release my vehicle not only did they charge that in front of at least 40 people but the CMPD sat back while having me illegally detained and allowed them to do so telling me they couldn’t do anything about it! Needless to say I’m headed down to the courthouse as I type this

Security footage shows no one ever touched my car. And when confronted with the truth? They couldn’t care less. No apology. No accountability. Just cold indifference. This company is the definition of shady—no integrity, no customer service, and zero respect for the people they inconvenience. Disgraceful.
Had my vehicle towed by this Company while I was asleep. They advised me that it was towed because my sticker showed 2023. My registration is up to date. I am a full time Police Officer in North Carolina and I keep my registration up to date; I just didnt have time to replace the sticker. I would leave 1 star; however, I gave 2 because the front desk staff and the manager were not rude and did their best to explain to me the situation. But it is in their best interest to try and verify the registration is actually expired other than just looking at the sticker and making an assumption without the proper software. In the right situation, a scenario like this can end up getting one of their drivers hurt. Also, they had my vehicle for less than 12 hours and charged me $302.00 to give it back. So now I have to pay more than my registration fee to get my car back, even though my registration was not expired in the first place. I don't usually leave reviews, but I recommend that you guys figure out a method to verify te status of the registration. But I do want to thank the front desk staff and the manager for answering my questions and being friendly.
Unlawful & unreasonable towing practices, the vehicles do not seem safe at all in the area they hold them. After paying your fees, they are still hesitant to give you your own car and stall. The signage asks you to not have attitude with the staff, but the staff has attitude when you ask them very valid questions. They are unwilling to explain policies that are not even written anywhere that you can reference. They charge different fees for different customers, or should I say “victims”, & create rules on the spot. Most people who are victims of these towing companies are either working class or poor, they make absolutely no reasonable arrangements & are just money hungry.
There is no manager present who can properly explain policies to customers and the website does not have a lot of information. The city needs to have more regulations with towing companies as this is seriously getting so out of hand.
I really hate this company they tow people cars for no reason. This is the second time and the first time my apartment complex made them pay me back. Now I’m deal with this! I can’t wait to move. I hate my apartment complex even went back to them. No communication at all with these people. MY CAR IS ON THE DO NOT TOW LIST!
I hate this company One of their drivers told me that I could park anywhere as long as I had a visitor pass and the regular parking pass I had the regular parking pass on one of my cars and the visitor parking on my other car he came back and hooked my car up with the visitors pass in it talking about I had to be in a parking space That’s marked visitor and I told him, but you told me I could park anywhere and he acknowledged that he told me that and still made me pay him the money to drop my car. I’ve been going back-and-forth with the company and my leasing office but mainly it’s on their company because their driver is scamming people. and these people don’t wanna give me my money back, but I’m calling the news and the Better Business Bureau on them. I’m sick of these people. they think that I’m just gonna go away because they used to doing this to people. They got the wrong one.
