Unfortunately I had to give 1 star to leave a review. Completely unreasonable pickup hours. They tow 24/7, but you can only pick up 8:30am - 4pm. Ridiculous! If they come after hours, the owner prices guages and charges another $100 and will only take cash! Completely taking advantage of the situation! Those pickup hours are definitely intentional so that the company can charge more because they know you need your car!
09/27/25... if your after hours fee is $40, then why were you charging me an extra $100! You are so unethical! Your business hours do not fit a standard 9- 5 job that most people have. You knew exactly what you were doing setting those hours.
Lazy, scammers.. my car has been parked in the same slot for months and mistakenly my pass fell off and they decided to take it.. I can see how they make their money.. I know this economy is going to shit but damn.. quality service.. I’m paying a monthly fee for this slot and they don’t even know who’s paying for it.. useless
My truck was towed from AutoZone ! I understand why it was towed ! But when I called he absolutely lied and said he had the truck for a week 360 was price I called him on it he took it down to 300 he has only had it one day ! Be careful ! The truth is I had gone homeless and was trying but ! When I was crying on the phone he told me to stop laughing these people are very crooked ! Watch out they now get to keep my truck because I can't afford that much money to get it out ! Being towed was my fault but that didn't mean it's ok to lie about how long you have it and screw me over further! It is you I am in Charlotte I was there how about you look out back at your place that little red Dakota 00 model that's my truck sir ! I came to your shop ya wanted to much
Exceptional service! I got two flat tires in a dark, unfamiliar area and was feeling really anxious. This company arrived promptly, was incredibly kind, and handled my car with such care and professionalism. While I hope I never face this situation again, if I do, I'll definitely be calling them!
Passed me on the highway going well over 90 mph in their work vehicle. The driver was swerving in and out of lanes, tailgating, crossing across multiple lanes at once, all while using absolutely no turn signal, of course. I would never trust my car in their hands.
Very affordable great communication. They picked a car up from us we are in Texas and they took it to the auction. Sent us pictures and did great work would recommend.
Exorbitant fees, does not have someone consistently in the office even during business hours, and would not take my card (required cash app, which feels extremely unprofessional)
I currently live in Camara Estates and pay for a parking space. I was only given one parking tag. I parked one my other car in the spot I pay for and it was towed. Mind you it the spot I pay for. I've come home on several occasions and someone is in my spot. I call them and it takes hours for them to send a tow truck to move them.... what a joke and they have the nerve to charge me for parking in my spot to get my car back. For all the apartments communities that use this company please find another company. I just purchased this car and didn't have time to update them because the office was closed by the time I got off work. What a shame. This company just wants money. I'll bet you within the next few weeks someone will be in my spot and it will take them hours to get here.Trust the reviews they're not lying. I will be reaching out to channel 9 news with this one.
I received their service for free and i want a refund. Well not free but fleet and honestly they should have their license pulled. Literally just got a tire change. The laziest person I've ever seen crawled out to my house to change a tire on my work van. Used MY jack to lift up the car he did not have a single tool to change the tire with. I really wanted to just change it myself but my manager told me to let the "authorized" contractors do it. How you take an hour to change a tire I have no clue but this guy did it. Then we he was finished he got up took pictures and left. Didn't put the spare back or my tools. After putting everything back in my van I started heading to work. Lo and behold the tire that he changed starts wobbling awful. This guy. This waste of human existence did not tighten my lugs all the way. I was done. I called a local guy and he took care of it. Moral of the story don't trust this company. Or any towing company. Just change the tire yourself. Could've ended up very dead when that tire inevitably flew off. They don't care about you. The get their money and then off into the bush like a thief.
They are a great towing company, with amazing workers there like Marshall. My car was totaled in the middle of the road, and they came and helped me in no time at all
DO NOT EVER use this place. Terrible people working there. Incorrect quotes on getting vehicles back. Refusing to give car back to the owner 3 different times throughout 30 days. We’ve come up there multiple times to get our car back. Was originally quoted $250 for it being towed due to a flat tire. Then was quoted $725 to be towed?? Are you joking? $725 was not said to begin with. $250 was. Now it’s $1200?? Company does not go by what their website says. These people are just absolute SCAMS. Our car was towed due to no fault of our own. Do these people just think we can pull out $1200 just like that?
Anyways, don’t go here. Save your money and go somewhere else
I had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful owner and let me tell you... They care about their customers and the quality of the work they perform. I have nothing but good things to say about this company and their ownership. Reasonable prices whereas these other companies pretty much rip you off. I'd highly recommend to anyone!
Whoever is driving the truck for this company needs to have their license suspended. An absolute menace to the road and putting everyone’s lives at risk. You’re driving a tow truck, not a Ferrari. According to other reviews, this seems to be an ongoing issue. Get new drivers.
This place has the rudest woman working there!! She talked over my husband on the phone when he was just trying to ask a question. I would never do business with a place that treats their customers like trash! Just called this morning to the lot and the rude woman answered the phone gave us the physical address of 1702 Power Drive, Lowell NC. I have the right business.
My minivan was literally at a 45 degree angle in a ditch and I had tried calling multiple 24 hour wrecker services and at 3am these guys...my heroes and saviors...and not too bad in the eyes...gentlemen showed up on time and had it out the ditch before I could get there and I only live 5 minutes away from where it was. Anyways the best tow truck/wrecker service company EVER and they made sure it was still driveable before they left me. Thank God for good people that keep their word and know what they're doing. I am definitely going to recommend them to all my friends and family and anyone new I meet from now on.
Got my work truck towed being 2 inches over the line In an empty parking lot and got charged $550 for the tow. After asking why it was so expensive, they responded by saying “you want your truck back” super unprofessional.
I have to wait long in front of the address to release the car. Nobody stays at onsite, have to wait for the Owner. website has no information on how to release a car if it belongs to friend/relative. Internet phone is not clear. It was hard me to understand. In my community there were many cars without permit those were lucky ones.
Community parking rule is strange. one apartment resident will get only one sticker. That is different issue.
Accidentally parked in a handicap spot and my vehicle was towed away. Even after explaining that I have a handicap sticker in glove box and this is was a misunderstanding, was told that I had to pay fee to get car.
Predatory towing. No office on lot site. Located 30 minutes away wherever that may be. Waits til after hours To tow away vehicles to avoid arbitrary movements. No consideration for incidentals. I work overnight hours with my workweek ending on a weekend. Wake up to find that my car is towed for a permit not being in the window which happened to have been replaced just the day prior. Now out $200+ for 'not making sure I had my sticker in the window' plus waiting for them to arrive on site since there is no office located at the lot or remotely near. Illegal actions.
I didn't actually use Jacs Towing but I called them from CLT because I had a dead battery. They gave me a quote and at that point I was more than willing to pay whatever they wanted to get a jump because it was 11pm and I had my 4 year old with me. They said they could come out and help me but that I could also call Airport Security and they would come jump me for free. If I'm ever in Charlotte and need car help I'll definitely call them. They could have taken advantage of someone in need but instead gave an alternative that took money out of their pocket. That's an honest quality company!
I was very pleased with this towing service. It was fast and friendly service. While other companies told me hours to get to me with arm and leg prices. Jacs towing service felt God sent. I will definitely use them again without question and refer them to anyone in need of their service.
Never a good day when you need a tow- but the staff was very helpful, kind and quick. I would recommend these folks for any service. Honest , professional and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you !
Driving home last night, this driver was tailgating inches from my bumper with no due regard to the construction zone we were in.... very aggressive, road rage. If this guy driving represents the company, I'd stay away...
They towed your cr saying it's legally parked. So now I have to sit up at night and watch my car and worry if I fall asleep well my car still be their. I HATE WHEN PEOPLE TRY TO GET OVER. BUT THERE DAY IS COMING. I hate this is what our society has come to. People doing whatever to get money at times like this. Sad as hell.
Towing company unprofessional. Employee makes up extra fees to put money in his pocket. Witnessed a man who was with the employee, going through impounded cars looking for valuables while the employee watched him. This other man asked my husband to buy a pair of Jordans that was stolen from someone's car. Do not know where the owner was but place is terrible
Price gouging and strong arm business tactics . price changed 125$ from am to pm when i picked up my car. Cost me nearly 4O0$ to bail out my car. Highly unprofessional. Stay away from this business. Predatory practice of picking off cars in apartments .
Extremely RUDE and does not conduct business in a professional manner. Money Hungry. My parents Handicap van was towed out of a stall that I paid for. Some miserable tenant called and had a van towed that they don’t pay for. Jacs towing will not bring Handicap van back to Disabled veteran.

Tow guy made physical threats while I recovered my automobile. These ppl are dangerous. All in my face screaming physical threats as he overcharged me for a tow. Do not use Jacs Towing.
